  • The world is always changing and we think we can understand it because we can see it, but what about the 2.5 miles of ocean that we can’t see? Dave Gallo went into an unexplored planet to bring peace to people he will never meet, and talks about how technology helped him.
    David Gallo is the senior adviser for Strategic Initiative at the Center for Climate Life Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University. For more than 25 years, David Gallo has been at the forefront of ocean exploration, participating in and being witness to the development of new technologies and scientific discoveries that shape our view of planet earth.

    It could be great to have solar charged, completely autonomous, continuously operating robots for such missions. Great work!
