@@attackonpoke Well, that’s true, but to be fair, I thought it was just gonna be an offhand reference and nothing beyond that. But no, they remixed songs too!
It would've been nice to have a bit of reference to N or the gen V protagonists. Supposedly Hilbert/Hilda were still out looking for N by the time Black 2 White 2 came out even though N came back on his own.
And I am immensely thankful they did go that far. So very thankful.

This remix makes me appreciate how well composed Unova's Battle Theme is in general.
It always had good memorable parts, parts with long note melodies, lots of attack notes in crucial parts, and just the right length.
The fact that as soon as this hit the first time and people lost their crap means that Unova nostalgia is pretty much real, and I think GF knows that. I just HOPE, HOPE that whatever they do they make a good remake, because it's safe to say Gen 5 is already really really good and unlike the previous Gens, it's real easy to come back to it.
The Thing is, a small Part of the Unova Battle Theme was teased in the Trainer Battle Theme! :0

@@Dialga22239One of the craziest ones is that you can spot a red and violet set of books at the library in Nacerene City. Did they get the idea to make the Scarlet and Violet books from that small detail in BW? I don't think so, but it's fun to imagine that some of those books went international.

Was NOT expecting this at all. I was stunned for a second or two going, “Wait..WHAT?!?” I just about screamed (with joy) when I heard this. Gen 5 is my all-time favorite generation, and the music holds a special place in my heart. Especially the wild battle theme, which is literally almost starting crying the first time I heard the original in White. I am super pumped for this wave of DLC and the music to come!

I recognized this almost as soon as it started playing when Lacey challenged me. I thought there might be a nod to Unova in the music at Blueberry Academy, but I wasn't expecting them to instead bring back Unova's trainer and wild battle themes with new remixes!

Have you noticed the chunk of land in the Canyon biome that resembles the Nature Preserve in B2W2? I thought that was a cute easter egg.
I was actually so taken aback when I heard this in game. I played ScarVi in Spanish when I originally played Black and White in English so I had no idea Unova had a different name if it was mentioned at all. Then when I heard this I damn near screamed. Some of the best memories of my life playing video games are from black and white so this made me so incredibly happy.

Oh my God hearing this with Lucey was amazing!! Especially since I've been hearing this a lot lately with wanting to try my hand at winning the Battle Subway (made it to Ingo and lost).
I was so friggin happy!!
Also Lucey being the daughter of one of the Unova gym Leaders (probably Clay or Burgh, but her being Cheren's kid would be really cute) was a neat thing to learn.

This gave me goosebumps when I heard it for the first time at Lacey's battle. I was expecting a brand new banger, but this remix hits hard and fits with the school aesthetic perfectly. Way to go, Unova! 💙🫡 I'm enthralled to explore more things in my playthrough.

This is the level of fanservice I was hoping to get back in the Crown Tundra, I was disappointed about the zero nods to past gens Sword and Shield got.

I didnt have any expectations and the first part of the dlc wasnt that good. This here made it better. Not perfect, but also not disappointing

@@RonEngle i did have competetive ready lv 100 pokemon for vgc but they were still challenging compared to all the other fights if you dont heal they manage to knock out 2 or 3 pokemon, which is pretty good for npc Standards nowadays in pokemon lol
