speedindustry....
Application Coverage:
2023 - 2024 - Toyota GR Corolla
2 System sku's and 2 conversion kits
Touring & Track
Covers all 3 sub models: Core, Circuit & Morizo Editions
1st to market with a center oval tip
Weights:
Track Edition: 37.5 lbs (with clamps & tips) | Touring Edition: 46.5 lbs (with clamps & tips)
AWE uses T304L stainless steel with a wall thickness of .065". The overall weights of each system are directly reflective of the material used, the increase in diameter throughout the exhaust, and the increase in component content.
The stock system is thin and very little packing material so it will always be hard to beat in weight vs quality

AWE never fails to make good sounding exhaust at a reasonable price.
Been waiting for this! Both sound solid, though the touring setup is noticeably better and more mature sounding. I wouldn't consider the track setup. Easily the best looking/fitting exhaust so far, but overall the Apexi exhaust is still tops, imo.
We have these ready to Ship Now - As one of the Launch partners With AWE we can get anyone early access to these. Also if you have Question or want some feedback on this or any other system we have tested and install most of the ones available on the market.. We are always glad to give our honest opinion and feedback.
We are also testing a Surprise with Apexi in the near future - but the AWE takes the Cake on many levels
How much drone is in the track one?
@@sreyes1103 it is Buzzy inside
@@Speedindustrydoes the track edition throw a CEL?
Just placed my order 😊
Yay! Thank you!
@@Speedindustry anxiously waiting 😁😂😂🥹🥹
Finally something that looks good, sounds good, and at a good price point! sick of the gr tax! I wonder if they make a cap off for the center tip so i have the option to run dual tips if i wanted to.
Going to go with the Touring version as my car is my daily.
Ordered it yesterday!
@@JohnMachado24how is it dailying it so far
@@JeYo91004 it’s been great! Have a little over 16k on it and the car since July 2023. It handles insane! It is fast but sort of cute fast to me lol, as my previous car were an 02 Z06 and 06 GTO. It’s fun tho bc the GR will not lose control, and my other cars wanted to kill me, so I have an interesting perspective, but it’s been a great car. Also, 23 or 24mpg is way better than like 17 lol.
So I'm only hearing this through my headphones. To me the track edition sounds better. In person, which one would you say sounds better.
Can you do a full rip to redline inside sound of track just like the touring?
When it’s going to be available, I love the sound and are they gonna be available in chrome tips?
Now Shipping - check out our video that dropped today
If the oem valve is not used, do we just hang it somewhere on the car or something? I'm assuming AWE has some sort of idea what they want to do with it. Thanks
it is tucked up above the exhaust - i think we talked about it in our other video
Is the track kit backfiring or is redline shifting making the pops?
Redline Shifting / Open Design Concept
Also stock tune and only an intake and this exhaust on this car
What’s the weight of both track/touring compared to stock?

Is the valve retained?
It is not , but it is plugged in
@@Speedindustry does it come with a spot to keep it or you have to ziptie it?
@@jerkratt we have it bolted in the same location HKS , and a few of the other systems.
Nope, they’re not valved:
During R&D, AWE conducted a (quite painstaking) full evaluation of the factory valve and its behavior under various driving conditions to determine its reason for existing. The valve is not controllable by the driver whatsoever-meaning regardless of the driving mode, buttons, settings, etc, there’s no opening/closing the valve from within the cabin. It works directly off of throttle input and only opens upon a certain breach of a threshold declared by the ECU very low in the rev range. Its sole purpose is for backpressure, and considering the factory exhaust design, flow is given priority to the center outlet (the larger one). The factory rear muffler is baffled with no packing material and only directs flow to the left and right exits when cruising at light throttle inputs.
After confirming this, and given our configurations already remove any backpressure issues organically, it would have been pointless to incorporate a valve.
Where the Supra videos? Gtg
