I love when people first experience Angus Young's guitar performances. 🤣
Me too! everyone get thunderstruck 🔥🤘🏻
Me too 😅 everyone get thunderstruck 🤘🏻🔥
I agree! They all have same reactions it seems😂
Hes 50-100 in 0 seconds.... doesn't even start at 0. and never slowed down. Angus Young and Brian Johnson (vocals) ... man... No breaks on that train.
Right? It's so awesome!!!
I have to say your impression of his voice is much better than most people do
Yes
Sound I always put it on to reve up specialy if I,m in a mood ( ha ,)
Holy shit yes
absolutely, lmao
Jim breuer got it the best
You: WHO IS THIS?!!
That would be Angus Young, and he can play a guitar whilst falling down the stairs
He skip! 😂
He could play a guitar while falling UP the stairs.
Angus Young was doing a move called The Duck Walk, first popularized by Chuck Berry. He even credits Chuck Berry for being one of his musical inspirations.
Damn straight he can!
He called him a "skip" ha ha ha ha ha Angus grew up in Australia (I'm Australian so when he said it, I was dying on the floor laughing ha ha ha OMG). Skip is like an insult for Australians, like calling and Irish person a Mick, or an English person a Limey.
I don't understand how people don't talk about his the opening riff is played with just one hand. He isn't strumming it's all his left hand.
On the studio version - which is what the audio is from - Angus is actually picking every note until the end. Most live shows he will do some parts with just one hand, though like shown here.
Huh? People never shut up about the one-handed intro riff, case in point: Well, you for example mentioned it, along with many others.
Also *_whisper whisper_* it's easier to play one handed than two.
its really easy though.....
it isnt hard, maybe to you
@@BunniMonster after some practice the one handed feels great. Compared to 2. You right but not everyone plays guitar so its insane to them
That’s a pretty fuckin unbelievable first pass at a Brian Johnson impression!
We all thought it... you just commented it lol. I was kinda stunned when he like did that raspy note right back at him
I thought the same thing, sounded on the mark to me, and I'm a hard core fan of AC/DC
Agree
Exactly!

“Who is this?” “I’m gonna call him skip!” Lmfao

I spit my drink straight outta my mouth! rotfl
I had to pause his video because I couldn't stop laughing.
I'm an old man who grew up with the Stones and AC/DC... And of course is old Rockers know Angus Young well... But I was today years old when I started calling him "Skip".
Fun fact, way back in 1973 before they became famous, AC/DC played at my school dance. The nuns were horrified.
😮😂
That last quote is beautiful: "The nuns were horrified."
As an escapee from the Catholic Indoctrination Program, you had me literally weeping with hilarity at your comment about the nuns!
Bravo!!!
😀
I NEED to know more about this lmaoooo
I love watching you discover new music. You are hilarious. My son passed away at 23 in the army just two months ago and I find laughter back watching you!
I wish some peace for you. I can’t begin to imagine your loss.

Sorry for your loss.
Angus Young is doing a Chuck Berry move that he perfected and took to another level!
Chuck Berry used to eat poop
The duck walk
Angus Said He Did That Move Because Chuck Berry Was Someone He Looked Up To!
chad engelby who looks up to somebody who bottled and ate poop?
I was gonna comment about that being the Chuck Berry move, but didn't want to show my age by doing so. lol
I don't think people realize how hard that opening solo is to play with only ONE HAND!
That being said, lol Angus was one of the all time GOATS with a small asterisk, one of the all time GOATS of making something simple sound compliant AS HELL which is impressive in it's own rite but learn enough acdc and everything is a variation on MAYBE 5 chords but, and BIIIIG BUT considering they literally wrote probably HUNDREDS of songs, every one feels different and is instantly recognizable GOAT
Lastly, just because AC/DC was my FAVORITE band as a kid and I kinda bashed them a lil 🤣 remember the band JET? are you gonna be my girl? They're only famous because of AC/DC almost their entire first album was purchased by the bandmembers from AC/DC at an estate sale with (I think Angus telling them they were failed songs so good luck) (pretty sure he meant selling the transcripts lol) so... ACDC got a band of hack frauds famous for playing their failed songs. 🤣 also I believe they did something similar to Iggy Pop lol but that's why their follow up album was shit and they faded into obscurity. Just a random bit of rock history for you 🙃 lol it was in an acdc issue of guitar world magazine, still have it lol but it seems pretty scrubbed off the internet, I wanted to fact check myself but after finding 5 other people who remember reading the issue I feel pretty confident
@@iwilleatyourleftistass6802 bet is sounded just like Angus
@@shinigami146 lol look it up theres a subreddit on it and they admitted it in GUITAR-WORLD MAGAZINE lol I still have the issue at my dads house in the shed, you want me to call him from across the country and have him dig through at least 100 issues? Lol why do u think their 2nd album sounded nothing like their first? Cuz they had to write their own songs and soon after that their careers ended... hard to know why... oh right, nevermind they were talentless hacks 🤣 dont fuck with me on my AC/DC trivia
Not for Skip!

Once you hear AC/DC you will never be the same! There is no band like AC/DC! As the only black rocker in the 80s in High School, this was my world!
The guitarist you called "Skip", his name is Angus Young and he was actually doing a tribute to Chuck Berry called the "duck walk". Angus looked up to Chuck Berry, the real king of rock and roll aka The father of rock and roll. One of the founders of rock music in the 50's. He was a black man as well. Sadly he passed away 3 years ago. R.I.P Chuck Berry. Here's a link for a good example of Chuck Berry doing the "Duck Walk" while performing Johnny B Goode ruclips.net/video/lQF0kpbeqaw/видео.html

The guy you called 'Skip' is Angus Young. He and his brother Malcolm started the band when they were still at school in Australia in the early 70's. Angus was 15 when they started playing gigs, sometimes he'd have to play a gig straight after school without a change of clothes so he'd play in his school uniform.
The uniform became a gimmick, so his sister made him different versions of a school uniform to wear on stage.
He still wears a version of the school uniform today, he's currently 65.
RIP Malcolm rock on
Malcolm was a better musician then Angus
One of our better known exports!
Great history! I’m lucky in terms of music discovery. I went to a mixed race high school in the 80s and know all these great songs and artists!
They also named the band after a label/mark on his sister's sewing machine
When you said, "You guys are starting too quick, you've got to let me build." I just thought, "Dude, this is just the prebuild. Wait until you get to the actual build."

Brian Johnson is a replacement for Bon Scott, the original ACDC singer who passed to soon. At the time there was no way to replace him. Johnson to the rescue!
Seriously. You can't really see it like that.
Brian Johnson was more like the next man up. Bon put the group up on him when he was in a group called Georgie. I will say this though: Back In Black was a damn good start!
Mark Evans was the original vocalist, he was replaced by Bon
Bon Scott actually found Brian Johnson before he passed away. Bon saw a show where Brian suffered from appendicitis on stage yet continued to sing while down in pain. Bon was so impressed by him that he told the rest of the band.
Here’s some Australian guys that made it as big as they could’ve ever imagined. I saw them in Camden NJ years back and the venue was completely sold out. One of the best. No, one of the very best I’ve seen!!

Aaron Willis just stating facts 😂
Reactors never notice that Angus is playing the guitar one handed in the beginning, which I think is pretty awesome. Why is that?
I noticed this also
Because why not. It's a commonly used technique in a lot of metal bands.
Called "power fingering"... popular thing and relatively easy with an electric guitar... What's impressive is the particular bit he was playing at the time... that's a lot of quick notes to hit. ;o)
The original record did not hit the notes only with one hand they used alternate picking which difficult as fuck takes years of practice to master that.. young shot single handed picking just for music video
Fret hammering technique.... Angus does it live as well, I should know, I have seen them over 25 times in concert.
Dude, you need to get this in karaoke, record yourself and put it out there ! You could dress like Angus "skip", and make a cardboard cut-out of Malcolm's guitar (to give you Rhythm!).
You would be awesome !!!

The vocalist, Brian Johnson, use to be their driver, gave him a shot at being frontman after singer Bon Scott died, he worked out pretty damn good. Early AC/DC is so kick ass, some great Rock and Roll; Let There Be Rock, Riff Raff, Dirty Deeds (done dirt cheap), Sin City, TNT and of course Highway to Hell are all bangers.
I think it was Bon Scott who used to be driver and became singer. He died in 1979, and Brian Johnson, already an established singer with Geordie, took over.
Not true.
Mikey Aurelius H true.
@@mikeyaureliush9017 I was gonna say same thing. It was Bon Scott that was the driver. You are right.
Bon Scott was the driver who replaced Dave Evans. Bon was a fan of Brian Johnson's singing in Geordie. Bon said if anything ever happened to him, he wanted Brian to take his place. Mal and Angus kept on Brian till he agreed to do it. It took Brian a long time to feel comfortable singing Bons songs. Some he still dont probably.

You done fell into another rabbit hole.
AC/DC originated in Australia in the early 1970s, and broke out onto US airplay and concert tours in the late 1970s. I saw them live for the first time at Day On The Green in the Oakland Coliseum in the summer of 1978. Almost no one in the audience even knew who they were (including me.) After the concert, I went straight to a record store to pick up their most recent album (at the time,) "Highway To Hell." That was the last album where Bon Scott was the lead singer (a legendary performer.) He died in 1980, and was replaced by Brian Johnson (who's the lead singer in the Thunderstruck video, and is also phenomenal, but differently than Bon Scott.)
You should react to a video with Bon Scott as the lead singer, such as "Sin City."
