  • Hello everyone, and welcome to my first big upload on this channel! In this video, we will be taking a look at the recently leaked Windows Chicago build, with the build tag of 3.10.07200022! Dating back to July 20th, 1992, this build of Chicago (or Windows 95) is the oldest known build, predating the Chicago Feature Specification document by more than 2 months, and the previous oldest known build by at least a whole year. This build is based on Windows for Workgroups 3.1 3.10.014e, released 13 days before, making this build a really strong competitor to be the oldest Windows Chicago (or 95) build ever compiled.
This video is part 1 of a 3-part series. In this part, you will see how the OS is installed, what does the startup/shutdown chimes sound like, what are some of the new features, and there's a demo of the software, all in one video!
When I first heard about this build, I couldn't wait to try it out. And what I ended up doing was filming about 55 minutes worth of content, of which 15 minutes will be used for the tour video, and another 10 will be used for the themes walk through.
For those of you who want to try it out for themselves, I've put download links to both the ISO and the folder dump down below. I would recommend setting the virtual machine to the Windows 3.1 defaults instead of 95, as this build is basically Windows 3.1 with an improved GUI and a few new applications.

The Windows XP Theme at last was something special.........
Let me tell you people what my dad did. He bought a system and wanted to install the XP on his own. The first time, I was in a hurry and went to play, but he reinstalled it again. That was the time I just sat and enjoyed Theme myself fully.
    Thank you XP for everything.

Object Packager isn’t new in this build- it’s present in Windows 3.1 (not sure exactly how far back it goes), and is carried through to 95 (and later; IIRC it still exists in Windows 11, although it looks different now). As to what it does- it lets you package arbitrary files into documents in other applications using OLE (Object Linking and Embedding), particularly useful if you want to package something that’s not an embeddable OLE object itself. So, if you wanted to, for example, include a .wav file that you recorded using Sound Recorder in a document that you’ve written in Write, you can use Object Packager to do that- go to “Edit” > “Insert Object…”, pick “Package”, then choose the file that you want to package; then the package will show up as an icon in your Write document and you can share that Write document and any of its embedded packages will come along with it.

I took a look at this build and while testing most of the applications won't work or give network errors as expected form a beta build but what is strange and kind of odd the beta wiki page shows some additional apps that weren't present in the control panel folder and those are Windows Memory Viewer General Info, Windows Heaps Viewer, Window Matrics, Screensavers, and Wallpapers weren't present when I installed it in 86Box and few applications did work after a lot of researching

Man, please make something nostalgic about XP.
I hope you will make it for your 50 subs celebration, won't you?
