  • I show how to use ark water reservoir to get water when there is no water around. The Waterless Base, is a base with no water going into it or well. A standalone base with its own water source on the ARK scorched earth map.

I use stacked stone water tanks as decorative columns .. the extra water doesn't hurt, but at this point its also overkill. [even with cooking]

At 1:13 I think there was a slip of the tongue (Unless you were including the amount you could get from having canteens in there too or something) but Metal Tanks hold 5,000 water and Stone Tanks hold 2,500 (the numbers mentioned in vid were their health)
Also I hadn't seen a side-by-side of the Bob's water thing yet and holy moly they're HUGE!

the slip ended up juxtaposing the HP of the container and the Water storage amount.
Though i wouldn't mind a storage container that held 100,000 units of water...

All you need is 2-3 metal water containers, and you can live anywhere you want and produce all the kibble you need.

You can stack the big water tanks easy:
Start with a Floor or Ceiling, snap 2 thin pillars over the center of it, with a ceiling on top.
Snap a water tank to the top ceiling, then another one to the bottom one.
    Presto! Stacked!

You don't have to have that many. I built a western town and I have 1 reservoir and then like 3 tanks spread around and my whole town has water, and all crops are irrigated. Also my reservoir was full as soon as I placed it without having to leave render.

Remember doing similar on original scorched Earth many moons ago , water and crops near red ob/entrance to tunnel that leads to artifact cave
    Good times

Hey! You can fill any water tank with one single container of water glass jar or canteen ect.
Just put it inside the tanks inventory and hold the fill button down and it will fill the tank up to 99000 out of 100000 in a few minutes 😜 👍🏻

Good tip, I tried this and worked perfect, but. I put a big reservoir outside a cave and it was filled with water after going outside the render, no problem. I put a metal tank inside de cave in range of the reservoir but it was never filled. Any clue. Thx for the tips.

While I can confirm this works, it is difficult if you are making kibble and such as the water can drain pretty quickly. If just for crop plots or regular filling of water jars/canteens it's fine but it's difficult to keep enough water for making recipes. Well, without having to fly away and back to get them to fill up when you run out. I suppose if you have a ton of the reservoirs you might be good, but you will still be limited in that regard.

@@JennaKarro Not me, I kind of want an easier middle ground. The wires were easier for electric with the limit on generators. Water towers have no limit so no biggie.
