Thanks for watching Terry! The mid 20°s are cold for us southerners, haha I bet that sounds nice and warm to a frosty Canadian 💯👍

I noticed the gutters right off, I think they were so long to allow for a water barrel further from the house but would not damage the house itself. Beautiful home I am in a wheelchair and happy to be able to see such a beautiful piece of history and home life as it truly was. They must have really struggled in winter. Thank you and your son, be safe!

That’s very possible! Folks in those days surely had animals and gardens that needed water. I hope you understand how sincere I am when I say that I’m honored to have been able to bring you along on our adventure and I’m so glad you appreciate this historic architecture as much as we do 💯👍

Would be interesting to compare location of this cabin to Civil War troop movement to see how close Donley and his cabin perhaps ever came to being discovered during the war.

I did the math one time buying firewood by the bundle like that For around nine dollars to eleven or twelve dollars here in vermont equals out to a lot per One cord, which is a 4 foot by 4 foot by 8 foot long. There is in between $811100. Can you imagine making eight hundred dollars off one C o r d of firewood

Yeah, I guess it’s mostly the convenience you’re paying for when you are just grabbing a bundle or two to go camping
