- Pekora did win a few games in there, but Korone with the multiple Perfect KO's.
From Korone and Pekora's Street Fighter 6 streams. Pekora also played a first to 10 against Botan just before this.

I love this duo, off stream they always talk about how cute and kind the other is, but the second it’s on stream it becomes an all out war between them
Well, Pekora is a war criminal, so that makes sense.
@@StoneStephenT it has nothibng to do with being a war criminal. Both are just competitive when it comes to gaming. This is how theyve always been in their head to heads.
Pekora's experienced, given that she has her rivalry with Miko. Korone's just naturally vicious. Yagoo initially hired her as a guard dog until he realized he could work with how cute she is around purple cats,.
While they mostly act like -comedian- idol, deep inside they're competitive gamer. Even Suisei is seriously competitive
@@StoneStephenTand Korone is a cruel vicious entity under that cutesy facade.
I’m glad Korone still loves Sf6! I’m excited to see how high she can climb
She's currently mastering Akuma
@@zman2994 hasn't she moved to Vega/ Dictator? It was her favorite character in sf5.
Korone is getting amazing at it. Imagine a SF6 Hololive tournament. 😂
Nah, they will do it.
Botan and Korone got trained by Fighting game professionals so this is kind of a unfair advantage for them.
@@kylewood4488-b9r they could be the hosts tho and commenting the gameplay
korone mentioned it briefly that it will be cool if they did a tournament since she saw some the girls are getting more into sf6, tho nothing really beyond that xD
I saw some of her stream today...she's starting to land anti-airs and her hit confirms are getting better. At this rate, I wonder if she'll hit Platinum at some point! :D
it's so cool to see Korone actually improve at fighting games
I'd love to see her play the classic fighting games like King of Fighters '97 or Samurai Shodown.
@@ggujiro7785 Is that your jealousy speaking? What? I can't hear you over the sound of your ignorance! :D
@@ggujiro7785git gud
Since this is korone after the tournament shows the gap between thier skills specially since shes using JP the very same character she used and got trained on in the tournament.
Imagine Korone full commited when next tourney announce
Her psycho power zoner gonna be really scary if unprepared
Man, Korone is on a whole new level now. You can see she's really dedicated.
And she's even gone the extra mile of learning Classic controls. As far as I know, everybody else she's played against has been using Modern.
@@ActivelyVacant Korone loves classic stuff. That's one of the reason why I love her :)
I don't speak JP, so I can't follow her too close, but I remember when she first started getting into street fighter and seeing her in practice mode, putting in the work. Earlier today I opened her stream and saw her zone the absolute fuck out of a rando and get a clean perfect. She is an _incredibly_ powerful being.
You don't speak the language of JP players, I can respect this, but how is your Japanese?
@@nodot17 貧しい
@@nodot17 all I know is "Here's to a fair fight" means the opposite of that.
Bro, I opened her stream earlier today and I was watching hit grounded anti-airs, one of the things I felt she needed to improve. She was also racking up win bonuses too. She'll be in Gold in just a bit. I wonder how she'll adjust to Gold players at that point? ^^
@@aRBy125 she'll adjust to that the same way she adjusts to everything else. Extremely well. Can't wait for her to absolutely sweep the next evo.
To be fair, Korone was trained by Nanai, the living Wikipedia of arcade style fighting games, the human walking encyclopedia. And she trained for a week by him, Pekora at this point has no chance, but she did put a good fight, it was very much enjoyable, the stream was a lot of fun.
"in two years" this is too real, that's exactly the rate of time koro-san does colabs
I think it's a reference to one piece
@@KoKodRIL3 true! didn't notice it, but also fits koro-san so perfectly
Pekora did pretty good considering the experience difference.
yeah from 1 button command XD
She should be spamming headbutt, think she just doesnt know his entire set
@@aokyoutsuki7744 pekora already try keep spamming headbutt , korone punish her hard with spike tho
@@g2garuda like from this clip (havent watched the full rounds), she keeps jumping when Honda's headbutt is also used for closing in zoners, you can even alternate between the safer for shorter distances and the riskier one that has more range, other than that is just basic guarding of the projectiles, which just comes to matchup knowledge so cant be helped
All of that practice Korone and her team did during the Tournament streams really paid off.
I see her putting the techniques and advice for JP her team taught her to use in this fight and it brings a smile to my face.
I hope she's still in contact with her teammates and hangs out with them sometimes.
That tournament arc really improved her skills!
Agreed. Gotta love her tournament arc lol
4:18 Guess the doggo remembered the pros being amazed by that combo and want to show how cool it was to Peko
Watching them play together is legit one of the best things to happen. The competitiveness is there with the desire to learn and get better while also having each Member embody their characteristics of play. PLus come on collabs are the absolute best!
She gotten a lot better since the tournament, damn! Speaking of the tournament, channeling her inner Karubi 3:51 XD
Wow I really hear now that you say it Karubi has really grown on me she's also been having fun with Laplus in the VCRGTA server hope her and Korone can collab again
Yep, that's our dog! Really glad to see her playing this still after the tournament. I think her team would be proud!
Also fun to get some Korone/Pekora interactions. It's pretty rare as far as collabs go, but they both have so much energy it's always great to see them together.
Would love to see Korone play SF6 with Botan :)
Korone seems to really like Pekora.
She even dropped a One Piece reference at the end. If she didn't panic as much she would have reached Gold today, but it was close. Hopefully Korone will keep her winning streak over Almondo Usada next time too~
I'm fairly certain that Korone could probably beat my ass in SF6 now that she had her training arc...strong doggo
That Honda combo Pekora did on the first round probably is better than anything I did so far with the character
I am pretty sure that's auto combo though
@@perfilordy7804 it is, Pekora is reaaaly bad at fighting games, don't expect more than random button mashing.
@@perfilordy7804 yeah that combo was basically press one button from modern control
@@Finalras Yes, but there's also moves she can't do without inputs on modern, such as the buttslam.
@@perfilordy7804 Forgot about modern controls. You are probably right
4:52 Korone about to come back from that -3D- 2Y time skip ready to beat Pekora with observation Haki or something.
Would love to see a Capcom-sponsored Hololive tournament
Or like... hololive as some comedy filler at evo
Cover Corp has established their eSports brand, so it's on the cards.
Answering DI with JP's counter and warp were brilliant plays.
Korone's teleports on this FT5 ("first to 5", for those who don't know) were ON POINT. Like, seriously. That's one major improvement she showed since CR Cup.
It was 5-3, but it didn't feel like that at all. Not to put down Pekora, but Korone's losses were mostly due to being scared of Honda rushing her and then screwing up because of that (so, yeah, Korone still has to work on her nerves). Again, I'm not trying to put down Pekora, cause it's only natural that they're on very different levels, as Korone has been playing for a lot longer and got coaching from pros not too long ago for CR Cup (I'd love to see that happen for Pekora as well in the future, she could become a bit of a monster lol).
Pekora's match with Botan (which was a FT10 instead) was a lot closer and it was mostly cause Botan has noooooo idea how to deal with Honda's butt slam and she quite literally forgot she could jump lol (she even said so). She started to figure it out near the end though, so maybe next time it won't be so close (again, Botan also has the advantage that she got a little bit of coaching from pros in the past, in fact, Dogura even hopped in to teach her about Rashid after she was done playing with Pekora and that was very fun).
In short: great to see Korone showing big improvement (seriously, those teleports...!), even if she's still letting nerves get to her a little bit. Botan and Pekora's match was a lot closer and super fun to watch. And it's good to see coach Dogura return to teach Botan some fun stuff, but I'd love to see what Pekora can do with some coaching as well!
I'm not reading all that
Pekora actually looked very strong in the first match against Korone (which Pekora won). One of Korone's favorite tactics is abusing JP's aerial dropkick but Pekora would punish it with Drive Impact and buttslam most of the time.
It was also after that first match that Korone would adapt and start using teleport to move around more.
I haven't followed her development too closely, and I'm still not super familiar with SF mechanics, but does Korone still have an issue with defense fundamentals in general? It looks like she definitely has a good grasp of JP's tools for offense though, just can't tell for sure on the other side.
Botan would probably feel more at home in Strive, maining Happy Chaos
@@jphataraki6764 then keep scrolling? he's giving good input and you dont have to be a jerk about it
2:36 THAT WAS SO SMOOTH
Im glad korone still implements the lessons she learned
Really fun matches!! Not bad from Peko considering Koro got trained by Kazunko. Gotta get Botan in here and do a winner stays on rotation matches
I dont know anything about SF but I really love the design of that oldman, korosan seems to be pretty strong.
Yeah! JP is a new character to the series
Korone is more than just impressive 👏
I love her playful nature with Pekora in these fights.
Ya know with that tile of the video I expected things to be more one sided but Pekochan is surprisingly not bad, she held her own pretty well against Ko'one
In the right corner, bringing to the ring her real life experience and love for classic games, Inugamiiiii Korone!
In the left corner, armed with comedic timing, Usadaaaaa Pekoraaaa!
love that some members are sticking with SF6. something cool started here. credit to Idol Showdown as well
Ranged characters are a nightmare for inexperienced fighting game players. Not to mention Korone literally trained this character for a tournament.
Korone's SF6 skills and improvement aside, I'm impressed Pekora managed to win a few rounds.
Was expecting her to get steamrolled much worse than she was.
Pekora actually has higher potential than Korone when it comes to fighting games difference is in SF6 Korone got trained by the Pros and I don't think she'll win easily if Pekora was also trained as well as Pekora has mostly trained by herself.
@@HaiseKuromeruMMD "Higher potential" is very vague.
Could be true, could be untrue.
Just going off the facts that Korone has extensive arcade experience, trained by pros, participated in a tournament, and has continued to train afterwards.
Pekora could potentially be better, but she's got a long road to catch up if Korone keeps training the way she has been.
@@HaiseKuromeruMMD Not totally true because Honda is the easiest character to play and have a big character advantage over zoners, specifically JP and Korone dont really know to deal with the disadvantage. JP require a different strat to every type of character on different distance, that is barely obtainable with only week of training. Not mentioning Pekora is playing Modern which have easy input and assisted combo. Korone is on Classic, which mean she actually need to learn her combo.
But gotto say Pekora is surely better than Korone is her mental plays. the same type that is the most difficult to deal with once they read their opponent perfectly. There are popular player like Itazan or Fuudo and Seki from the last CP cup.
@@drk7648 I think the moment Pekora stops jump spamming and learns that Honda can close distances pretty quickly, things will start turning around for her. I haven't seen much of him myself yet, but I can tell he definitely has moves to stay on zoners.
@@keystrix3704 Honda actually cant really spam jump because he need charge input. He also got non punishable Butt smash(except DP which JP dont have it or perfect Parry) and His Headbutt tank projectile, Pekora can technically abuse Korone because Korone didnt learn any of it from Nanai.
Korone got hungry and practiced. She's improved since SF5
A very nice treat to see holo playing against each other in sf 6
Peko-chan talking big and then end up losing. Yep, that's a true Peko moment.
She jumped out of the corner, that in itself is a huge improvement.
2:37 same side warp mix, let's fucking go. That was the nastiest warp you'll ever fucking see.
Korone: Has been trained by a FG pro and participated in a tournament.
Pekora: I want to challenge her.
What could go right, I wonder?
I still remember when Korone couldn't beat Pekora on a Kunio-kun game, this is the revenge match.
I would love to see korone do a sf6 endurance stream. Probably like a road to master type of thing
Doesn't sound like a good idea, the last time she tried a Splatoon X rank endurance she broke down crying. Climbing rank is a far different hell than just playing any game for an endurance that she hasn't gotten too used to yet.
@@chillyfalcon tbf I've tried the ranked grind in both Splatoon and this game, and Splatoon is infuriating. Like I'll get salty at SF6 sometimes but that was nothing compared to how angry the constant losing streaks and watching my rank go down made me. It's meant to be a team game and if you solo queue, the cards are stacked against you.
Lets not forget korone actually trained with professionals for sf6 tournament
Pekora is a master of deviousness, malice strategy, fear mongering and wit trickery. Unfortunately you don't need none of those qualities in Street Fighter. Korone, in another hand ...
Thank you for doing Pekora cutouts during the video, your hard work is worth it!
Pekora's war crimes pale in comparison to the savagery of Korone smugly telling her how she still got hit despite messing up, haha.
Kazunoko has taught her well
Edit: I noticed Korone is still jumping back a lot. It's one of her weaknesses.
In this specific matchup jumping back (especially when you have departure placed) is actually pretty strong because JP can air throw both buttslam and headbutt on reaction with the space you create, Honda can't just walk you down for free because of departure, and your reward for catching headbutt or oihco with OD counter in the corner is potentially huge (5700 of you have the level 3 ready)
Its really smart of Korone to pick a ranged attacker when her opponent picked a grappler, because as long as she has any amount of distance she has the upper hand, and can instantly get a hit off.
Goddamn that warp to dodge the drive impact was godly
LMFAO these two are guaranteed gut busters. 😂 ❤❤
Pekora: (gets beat up by Korone)
Listener-san: "First time?"
Korone took the game like a champ, tasted true defeat and frustrations from previous experience did make her improved more and more. Proud of the cute doggo.
Gotta put the kouhais in place when they step out of line sometimes 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
holy cow! Did Korone got even better since the tournament!? I would not be surprised if she practiced more offline or asked for more practices with the pros she met during the tournament.
It almost felt a little unfair since she basically has professional training for a little bit. But idk how good Pekora is on this game so maybe it is a fair fight.
Honestly Pekora came closer than I expected.
Korone: "You. Can't. Hit Me."
Pekora: "Then what do you call the last five minutes?!"
Korone: "Pity."
Korone on SF6 again and it's rare PeKoro too!
I love the title of the video
That's actually a pretty good example about the difference between Bronze and Silver; it's just grasping basic concepts like knowing some combos, having a basic gameplan, and knowing through experience how to get out of common situations.
i like how pekora having challenger mindset
she always try to challenge more better player on their own game
TODAY YOU'RE GONNA LEARN! WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD GIRL!
Korone Wong
2 years they'll meet at the saboady archipelago 😂
that cutesy voice to shinee! reminded me of that time when peko and marine did that boxing nintendo minigame 😂
let's meet again... in two years!
I miss when I was excited for onepiece. I stopped reading during wano cause that arc was legit years long but I hear it's cracked now so I may have to get back into it.
Korone's improved so much since she started, but the war criminal is no slouch either, let's not forget.
I kinda hope to see a Hololive tournament for either Street Fighter or Idol Showdown.
Korone was holding her own at top-level tournaments, she's more than ready to throw hands.
the ground spike reminds me of good old snk where they would spam kokodana over and over
If I didn't know any better I would say that Korone has a strange statue in her bedroom
Korone being in a SF6 Tournament, I wonder how that will go
Jesus Christ these girls are terrifying!
Especially Korone who's learning set ups and Mix ups. Still unable to do rush cancels to extend combos.
Eyyy considering pekora is self taught. She’s doing surprisingly well! (Although half of it is because of Honda being Honda. Lol)
That D00G smack talk was golden.
"Those are spikes~"
Average dog vs rabbit interaction
Jp looks so op in this matchup, like testament from strive in a game with less anime fighter characteristic bs.
Honda deals with it pretty well as long as he isn't too predictable with headbutts and buttslams, he can exploit JP's desire to projectile spam just as much as JP can halt Honda's bull-rush tactics and make him hurt if he turtles. For him and many others, the matchup becomes a veritable hell if he ends up in burnout.
@@BronzeAgePepper good to know, haven't played that one that much yet but when I'll start playing 6 for real (that is when I'll finally get something that runs anything else than 3rd strike and sf5 on minimal settings), I probably can get in there with Yuri while playing games cammy it can be irritating without going all in spiral arrow all the time.
Honda is actually the nightmare of all zoners and the character that will make you lose your friend lmao.
