I have found that church open days hardly bring out anyone, but I've noticed people are pulled to the mosques in greater numbers. For sure this must be part of the fitrah. Alhamdulillah and what better person to see than Dr Sabeel. May Allah strengthen him and guide him to more success.
When I was 22 I had 2 children (same father) me and their father has broken up and he was in prison. I went to the church which I was christened in, a Catholic Church, the priest knew me and he knew my family, I asked him to christen my babies and he refused, he was rude to me and told me my sins were going to affect my children in so many words. That priest was, according to the catholic belief, happy to leave my children unchristened and going to purgatory asthagfurillah! When I came to Islam 15 years later I learned that all children are born Muslim and go straight to Jannah if they die before they hit puberty. Alhamdulillah for Islam ☪️
