This is becoming my favorite channel. NBA on NBC was so great. No gimmicks, no awkward camera angles, just two announcers carrying the broadcast off their chemistry with the best theme song ever!
I'm enjoying watching Dell Curry knowing that one of his sons would play for a Hornets team while wearing his number ❤😊, and the other is the great shooter ever and a 4x champ ❤
I was at this game! I wish the Suns had won, they're my team, but I was glad to see them play. I also went to the preseason game Hornets vs Suns, Zo was still on the team at that time.
interesting how the Suns had basically the same team from the 94-95 season and were so low in the standings in 95-96. They were only the 7th seed in the west that year
The way Marc and NBC made every game seem important back then. The broadcasts now are dry af.
NBA is on ESPN that’s what. Soon as the NBA returns to NBC in 2025 broadcast will be never been better in their day
@@dreamcage1801I hope it does!
@@DavidOkutinyang-td4jt 💯 because espn makes my eardrums pop. There's no authentic personalities and no sticking to the game.
Every game sounds like the playoffs or finals.
Way better build up for a game

LJ's final year in Charlotte and Barkley's final year in Phoenix.

Both undersized power forwards
I really miss the NBA on NBC

I remember watching this game as a 13-year old and thinking Goldwire is going to be a star in the L 😄
He was hooping this game!
9:31 dude came right out the emergency room to ball
Kevin johnson was amazing. Great both teams. it's nice to watch

Another great post, this is great stuff.

Back when players didn't just settle for jump shots
two teams that went through a rough patch in 1996 after huge 1995 seasons, but eventually got their act back together in the next few years
Yup shit happens in life
I wonder why Phoenix dropped off so much in '96. I doubt Majerle's departure hurt them that much
@@redpillfreedom6692 stupid traded that weren’t necessary
@@dreamcage1801 Danny Manning regressed, they lost Ainge & Dumas too, inability to win close games
@@TRJ2241987 and shouldn’t have never traded Thunder Dan
Sir Charles here no longer motivated to compete 👏
That number 5 guy for the hornets had the game of his life .
Glen rice was the man on this team
Great upload! Do you have anymore NBA on NBC games with the extended intro during the 1995-96 and 1996-97 seaons?

The West was really competitive in the 90s. Most Championship windows last 3 years. Even the Bulls were fatigued after their 3-peats.
that is true. Suns championship window was 93-95@@bolebole161

Why did we ever put frank Johnson in game 6
Someone put a body on Hot Rod!!!!!!!!!
Goldwire and Steph oops Dell Curry saved the Hornets.
Do you have any NBA on ABC from 2004 or 2005?
2006?
They switched networks after 2002.
Hot rod Williams was good. And Larry Johnson wass a baby Barkley.
