R.I.P Mason..this was the squad that I fell in love with when I watched Hornets basketball.
Then Wesley and Phills came in and I loved it even more.
They showed highlights of this team in Serbia, back in the day, because of Vlade. This is my first team, these are my guys and the reason why I got interested in the NBA. Muggsy, Curry, Rice, Mase, Divac, my mount Rushmore +1.

What about that team that had Mashburn and Davis that lost to the big three in Milwaukee of Cassel, Big Dog and Allen. That was a good team too.

Hornets Hardball! That shorter 3-point line was absolute child's play for Glen Rice.
The Hornets from '94-'02 had a lot of fun exciting teams to watch. '94-'95 ZO-LJ, '95-'96 Rice-LJ, '96-'98 Divac-Rice-Mason, '98-'00 Jones-Phills-Wesely-Mase, '00-'02Baron-Mash-Campbell-Brown. After '02 it has never been as fun to watch Hornets. They never got back the exciting star power they had from the mid 90's to the early '00s.
The only team that’s been even close to as exciting was the al Jefferson & Kemba Team from 2014-2016
@@d-upcomix 'agreed. I liked that team in '15 that had Jeremy Lin on it. I felt he had a brief resurrection with the hornets. It was fun to watch.
the hornets best playoff years were #1 1998 and #2 1993

That 1998 Playoff series versus Atlanta was electric! Unfortunately the Chicago Bulls were waiting in the next round!

Im a Bulls fan but this Charlotte team in the mid/late 90s made a fan. They never got the respect they deserved and I loved watching this team into the early 2000s.

just like the 1997 hawks the hornets tied round two 1-1 with the bulls before losing 4-1
the 1996 knicks had patrick ewing but they didn't beat the bulls until game 3 before losing 4-1

Also 2002 had great team lost in second round
the bullets kept the games closer than the clippers hornets and timberwolves but allowed michael jordan to score 55 points in the game two 109-104 win

King Richard the Lionheart not necessary true as the hornets already had a trade for the lakers as they needed a big man which they already agreed to trade their pick for Kobe to get vlade Divac at the end
