Thx for the video. It was useful, especially for removing the skirt. I stored the excess wire in the housing at the back of the helmet, originally intended for a battery.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching.
Just did this with my RPHA 91. Works just fine. Thanks for the video
Thank you for watching!
Thank you for the video, I purchased the HJ C i91 and have the Cardo Packtalk Bold to install. I ordered the adhesive clips from Cardo and your tip notching the plastic for the wires is helpful and using the helmet notches for the speakers and mic.
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this honest video! It helps me a lot in making my decision whether or not to buy this helmet! I have Senna SF2 and now I'm confident in my purchase. Safe ride!
Glad you enjoyed it! Stay safe!
Thanks. Really helpful have both this helmet and Edge on order.
Thanks for watching!
Bro...Thank you so much for this. that's what i was missing...Notching the neck roll.
What I did for the wires is to hide it in the battery pack instead in the headliner just route the wires in the space between the foam and shell
Smart!
Very helpful video, thank you.
Question, what cover are you using on your boom mic?
Just a dead cat I found on Amazon
Can you include a link to where you got your pinlock "sun activated" for the transition you mentioned? Been looking into options for it.

This anwsers my question from your other video. I guess I should have watched a little longer.
Do you think there is space enough for the 45mm JBL speakers? Thanks for the video!
Yes i believe there is enough space. Thanks for watching!
Hi, was just about to ask the same question.. did you manage to fit those 45mm JBL speakers in the buckets? I'm migrating my Cardo Freecom 4X from my old Nolan helmet to my newly purchased RPHA 91 and I would really like to know up ahead it they would fit before I buy a new cardo sticky plate and then start butchering things ..
@@ghassanalfarra8935 did you end up putting 45mm speakers in?
@@brentonappleby9836 yup! An exact fit, no problems.
Vielen Dank fürs Zuschauen! Bleib in Sicherheit, mein Freund
Thanks for the video. I am considering this helmet but I also use Cardo communicators. THe issue I see with your mounting position is that from my past experience is that unless the unit is mounted parallel to the airstream so its aerodynamics work as designed, wind noise becomes very, very loud and really unacceptable. I wonder if that happened to you. P.S. I use hockey tape to position the wires inside the helmet. It is extremely thin and super sticky so it will not detach.
Thanks for the tip with the hockey tape! I'll give that a try! I did not notice any additional wind noise after I mounted the Cardo.
champion youtube channel rated this the quietest helmet out, does it really block out sound really well? I ride a straight pipe yamaha r1 so you know how that is
It's good for a modular but not the quietest helmet I've rode in. Straight pipe R1 you'd need ear plugs with any helmet lol. Sounds bad ass tho
Thanks for this video! If i want to put the sticker for the controller on the plastic that is removed and let it prevent the movement of the sunvisor will it stick well or is it a big risk? I ask because this point is not flat.
I think you'd run into potential issues putting it there as the door for the sun visor mechanism is removable.
@@WeRide2 Yes i know, my problem is if it will stick well to the removable plastic because its surface is not smooth.
Hi, will it fit a 45mm speaker into the speaker pockets?
Yes! I have the Cardo JBL 45mm speakers in my helmet
Thanks for the reply.
Will this work with the i91 model? I don’t want the Sena 50b that the helmet claims to be ready to accept.
I don't have experience with the i91 but I would think so if you do it this way.
Is it the same for cardo neo?
I would imagine it's about the same, the neo looks just like the Edge. I think the only difference is how it snaps into the cradle
How does the accessible side cap stay in place?
The cover that comes off the helmet? It snaps into place.
