Great video! Im picking up a 474 in a few weeks and it would be cool if someone made a video of how to install some work lights 😉. Probably would get lots of likes. 😀.
Excellent video as usual. Could you show how the control levers are done by the seat also please? Also, I have a cab 474 on the way would the lever placement on a cab model be the same as yours
I just did this to mine except a Facebook friend sold me his spare valve assembly. My FH AGL165 hydraulic offset flail mower should be here any day now. You and your channel are what helped me decide that the TYM T474 was the tractor for me. Keep the videos coming and Merry Christmas from Hemphill Place in downtown Estes, Mississippi.
Thanks Tony this was very helpful. I have single remotes on my tractor and would like to have duals. Always enjoy your and Tanja"s videos. Appreciate you buddy. 🚜
Great video, thanks for sharing, I have a Mahindra 2638 which is identical to the TYM 747. The only difference is the engine I believe. When I bought my valve, I ordered the same part number.
This was solved on mine when I asked my dealer the price difference between having the factory option installed while ordering, compared to having it installed by him in a few years when I have need for it. He replied, if ordered from factory, it's just the kit price as the tractor is already apart because they're building it. He said that the cab has to come off and it would be a full day labor to install it if he had to add it later. That was an easy decision. I told him to put on every hydraulic option they have at the factory.
I am afraid your dealer may be a little uninformed. When the tractors get to the US, the cabs are already on. The process to install the dual rear remotes on the cab tractor is much the same. It is true, the assembly plant in the US will install the remotes. I still think you made a wise choice.
@TonysTractorAdventure I would be interested in a video about the T474C shuttle sync and how many pieces it arrives at the port of entry, and what happens at the assembly plant. Compared to at the dealer, as I had seen a video by Neil Messick in which he described how many crates a Kubota shows up at his dealership, and assumed that TYM sent the T474 the same way, my dealer told me, Oh, my goodness no. He added fluids, including tire ballast, and made sure everything was right, but no assembly happened at the dealer. I find it interesting that the different brands vary so widely in their procedures. But then again, I was quite surprised to find out that the T474C shuttle didn't have a hydraulic canister filter when I did the 50 hour service. Just clean the pick up tube screen.
Perfect timing. I ordered this kit a couple of days before you made the video, and like yours, mine came with no instructions. They didn't send me the detent kit, so i think that I'll re-use my original valve. My tractor only has 85 hours on it, so it should still be good. Any regrets so far on your setup of the long vs short connects? Just bought a Titan offset ditch flail mulcher and am looking to get it up and running! Yor videos are a lifesaver -Thank you for taking the time to make them!!!
i have a mahindra 2638 which is essentially the same tractor with mitsubishi motor. i dont have a rear remote can i just remove the top cover like and add the dual remote kit that you have here? mine has the same top cover as yours with the hydraulic fitting in it just without the block that has the remote quick connects on it. thanks for any info.
Not even close. The time it would take to have the correct hoses made up makes it not close. Once you add in the cost of hoses, it's not cheaper either.
one more question im working on a 574 at the monent with dual remote and putting a by85 backhoe on it. the remotes arent seeming to work right. what do you suggest?@@TonysTractorAdventure
Any issues with oil leaks on the 474? Mine had an oil leak at the rear main seal with 7 hrs on it. Took it to the dealer and they split the tractor to replace the seal and it’s leaking again now…. Along with the top coolant line.
Just bought a T394 cab hydrostat and it didn't come with a rear remote, if I found someone that took off a single remote to add a double and bought those parts would it work....?
@TonysTractorAdventure awesome. Thank you sir. I installed a hyd top link and it hits the left coupler if I don't run the attachment severely off center (to the left) Thinking about adding some 45s
Good morning and Merry Christmas Tony. I have been a large fan and have been watching a long time. I have a T474 as well. I enjoyed this very informative video. I was wondering if your old single valve and lever is for sale sir.
Great job mate you really know what you’re doing all the best to you and your family and friends and god bless you and your family
That's going to add a lot of utility to the beast. Thanks for posting folks.
Great video!

Check out the video I did on the T25. I used the factory OEM light kits.

Glad my extra remote got put to good work for ya Jason.
@@tractortymecan't wait to put them to use!
Cool stuff Tony. My 494 came with dual remotes. So far I’ve only had use for one. For the hydraulic top Link, maybe someday.
Those longer valve studs sure looked close to rubbing the fuel tank. Nice install.
They are not close once everything is installed. Very easy kit.
Very helpful and informative Tony! Thanks for sharing!
I always love watching your how to do this videos.
I’m just surprised that the dirt. It’s a good heads up for when I have to clean.
I literally came from the car wash, but it was a cold day. I should have spent more time.
Good to know I’m not the only one not cleaning the tractor before making a video installing dual rear remotes 😂
Thanks Tony this was very helpful. I have single remotes on my tractor and would like to have duals. Always enjoy your and Tanja"s videos. Appreciate you buddy. 🚜
Awesome stuff, as always nice and handy to have the extra remote on any tractor

Very nice work Tony! Great video!!👍🏻

Great video, definitely a must do upgrade!
I can't wait to try the off-set mower
I wondered if the additional remote would require an additional control lever
on the inside of the cab? That issue was not addressed.
I showed putting on the additional valve lever in this video. It is set up the same way with a cab.

Thank you. To this point it has worked as advertised.

Yes you can. Check the price at the TYM dealer too. You may be surprised.
Wouldn't it have been much easier to add a summitt multiplier kit ???
Not even close. The time it would take to have the correct hoses made up makes it not close. Once you add in the cost of hoses, it's not cheaper either.
what is the part number for the detent kit? the one in the video i cant get to pull up to order the part for tym
You will need to call your dealer to look up the new number.

Mine has 407 hours of abuse and zero leaks to this point.
Do you have enough space to stack three valves? Just curious.
I don't think so.
Just bought a T394 cab hydrostat and it didn't come with a rear remote, if I found someone that took off a single remote to add a double and bought those parts would it work....?
I am not sure. There are some difference between, the T474 and T394. Engine, front hydraulic valve, etc. I wish I knew more.
Hey Tony
What size pipe thread are those couplers?
If memory serves their half inch
@TonysTractorAdventure awesome. Thank you sir.
I installed a hyd top link and it hits the left coupler if I don't run the attachment severely off center (to the left)

I am sorry. Someone else needed it.
Glad they could use it. Have a wonderful Christmas day sir.
