I actually drove your featured model (very very slow). Along with even the newest electric polstars, my 2017 Rebel Blue S60 Polestar still performs faster. DID YOU KNOW? All 2017 Rebel Blue Polestar has a third feature for track driving (in addition to sport mode)... To engage a hidden "Sport+" mode in the transmission, pull the gear lever left into sport, push it forward to the upshift position marked " + ", and hold it there while pulling back twice on the downshift " - " paddle on the left side of the steering wheel. A green " S " light in the instrument panel blinks twice to indicate engagement. It's meant for occasional track use, but it's fully automatic mode that keeps the engine spinning at 4000 rpm or above. That's also the rpm where the supercharger drive clutch disengages and the turbo can provide the boost. Polestar product VP Henrik Fries cautioned "It's too extreme for road use"... Sweet Jesus I love my 2017 and I hope this post was news you can use!

Its not superfast, but alright for german traffic and a very good looking family car ;)

@@IncredibleTehko True, it's not 'superfast' if you compare to a 911 targa 4 gts, Benz AMG 63s, BMW M4 Competition or an Audi R8... but keep in mind that driving skills always has the final word. Now to those 'exotic' Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, McLaren and Rolls Royce... I can't recall one single behind the wheele driver that had the balls and skills in tackling a street challenge. Now cars that beat me in street/highway traffic (due to monster hosepower advantage and always with a driver that will go for the 'kill') are * Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat * Mustang GT 500 * Corvette Z06 and those insane Nissan GT-R. OK so although your 'supercar' statement is true, watching driver faces getting out manevered by a Volvo as I often let them catch up to me again and again... can you imagine the joy?
