Thanks for the video. I have a similar "history" with my teeth. Also, the power of praying with someone - that was a recent revelation to me. My 87-year-old father has been in the hospital for the last 29 days after suffering a chemical burn to his thighs and buttocks (long story - involves riding a 4-wheeler and out checking his cows). Anyway, the preacher from our church visited and asked to pray with us and just wow - you could really feel it. Experienced the same feeling when the chaplain from the hospital visited and asked to pray with us. Knowing there are people out there praying for your loved one gives you the strength to continue to be present and advocate for your loved one. Thank you so much for all of your great videos and insight. It has been very helpful to me.
Hi Lois, I am so very sorry for what happened to your dad! That sounds Remely painful and I pray he is on the mend and will be out of the hospital soon. I am so happy that you had the opportunity to have someone pray with you because you really do feel it. Renew your strength and cements the fact that God is with you. To me, when you are praying with someone else or even a group of people, it is like you all become one and a very strong force. You can feel the Holy Spirit in the room and the power behind it. I will lift your father up in prayer and also you and your family. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with prayer! Love and blessings, Sheila.
Boy did I enjoy the long distance fellowship and your education video on teeth. BLESSINGS and God's Love sent your way and to our unknown family out there.
Hi and thank you so much for your very kind comment. Thank you so much for sharing that you enjoyed the video and the fellowship. May God richly bless you as you bless others. Love, Sheila
Hi Lucy, thank you so much for your comment and I’m so pleased that you enjoyed the video. I am sorry that you were having trouble with your teeth, I know how aggravating that can be. If I have a problem with the tooth, it absolutely freaks me out, because of my fear of going to the dentist. Love, Sheila.
What a great tooth care routine. Thank you for sharing. I have recently been having tooth decay issues and will be having 6 crowns and 3 bridges. I am really stepping up my game. My husband due to medication experienced "dry mouth" and I researched and discover Zylotol. What a wonderful product it is Blessings to you from Texas.
Hi and thank you so much for your comment. I think I have 9 crowns and 4 or 5 root canals that I had to get in my 20s and 30s. I probably have 5 really deep fillings that I got many years ago. It is never too late to start to prevent further decay in the future as much as we can. I eat a lot of sweets and love sugar, but I try to brush my teeth right after. Nothing is more distressing for me than having to go to the dentist. Dry mouth is a terrible feeling, and I am so happy that your husband discovered zylotol, it really helps with dry mouth and prevention of tooth decay and plaque buildup. Thank you so much for sharing! Love and blessings, Sheila.
Good information about your tooth care. You have a beautiful, bright smile. I've had lots of fillings, crowns, root canals, etc. like most folks our age. I do use the Crest White Strips from time to time and I also rinse my mouth with a peroxide and water mixture and floss. I hope to keep my teeth my whole life.
@@rosemarypurnell3674Good morning Rosemary, I have a mouthful of root canals and crowns also. I never thought about rinsing my mouth with peroxide and water, but I could see where that would definitely help. I am trying to keep my teeth for the rest of my life, but even if they all fall out, I will keep on smiling ha ha. I can tell you one thing for sure, I will never get an implant. I know people who have done that and had so many problems from it and it is not worth it to me. Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for sharing and for, your comment! Much love, Sheila
Xylitol along with the mouth rinses recommended by Dr. Ellie Phillips (a dentist here on you tube) has made an incredible difference in my 70-year-old teeth, lol. The rinses are far better than all the insane flossing I was doing. I now have no bleeding, no sensitivity, no pain, and my teeth look better than they have in a long time. I've always done everything my dentists and hygienists over the years have told me, but no more. I liked my last dentist and his hygienist but decided I was just not going to go along with a program he outlined for me, even though I can afford it, starting with the $5000 for just one tiny implant. That was just the beginning. I've talked to many people my age who have had nothing but trouble since they've gone whole hog for whatever their dentist recommends. My own younger sister has had a very rough time but had neglected her teeth for years and won't quit smoking. I'd truly rather have all my teeth pulled, should it ever come to that. Right now, I'm staying away from any dentist.
Hi Cynthia, thank you so much for your comment. I just ran across Dr. Ellie Phillips RUclips channel a week ago and she has some great information. Fortunately, my dentist is very minimal in his approach to dentistry and goes by common sense. One time I asked him if I should have my very old silver fillings removed and replaced and he said it was totally unnecessary and could cause damage to the tooth and that it was a waste of money, which I appreciated. I would never in 1 million years get an implant, I have heard nothing but horror stories about them. I like Dr. Eli Phillips’s approach to how to care for the teeth. I know she doesn’t believe in having to get cleanings and I do that four times a year. It sounds like what you were doing really works for you and I thank you so much for sharing it. I hope others in the comment section read what you have shared and check out Dr. Phillips. Thank you so much for providing this valuable information for all of us that are 70 and over, dealing with aging and how to take care of our teeth. Love, Sheila.

I have never tried Orajel mouth rinse, but I am definitely going to. I have never done the teeth pulling but have heard a lot about it. What is it supposed to do for your teeth? I have never tried the toothpaste that you mentioned, but I’m going to get it so I thank you for sharing that with me. I want to do all that I can to keep my teeth, healthy, and just keep my teeth for as long as I can, but if they go bad, I will just have them pulled, would never get an implant.
