do you have a link to these? looks sick! trying to get one for my wrx before the next car show. i saw in a previous comment but not sure if the one i saw has the extended stick
Here’s the one with a built-in extended pole - amzn.to/4bnjM0p This is the one I was using here, but I used the Insta360 extended pole. amzn.to/4bkJaUt amzn.to/3WlLTJf
Gekko 3-suction cup for the base and then the normal selfie stick on a single suction cup with a u-clamp on it’s end to attach to the extra long selfie stick that is on the 3 suction cup mount.
It does a pretty great job out of the box, but depending on what sound you’re looking to get I do recommend the mic attachment. I saw a couple sports cars on Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina that had the mic attachment and a mic attached just above the tailpipes for that sound. You could also, obviously, do a wireless mic inside for that audio.
@@popescuionut8714 So, I have been running with a 7Ryms mini shotgun mic and love it. I reviewed it on my channel, but the guys I saw at Tail of the Dragon I think were running a Rode Mini.
I like angel 2
Strangely enough, so do I. I thought the higher up angle would be better, but the lower angle feels faster and looks cooler.

What is this setup? Tripper gekko? And the on to support?

i wanna do this with my miata :) would you say this setup is stable? Are you not afraid that it may get lose and damage the paint ?
Very stable. I saw essentially this same setup on a couple of sports cars running Tail of the Dragon last fall.
@@Milledge.Austin thanks! Might give it a try. Beautiful car by the way!

Definitely the best angle.
How’s the sound? Do you need an extra microphone..? Or it does it’s job?

@@Milledge.Austin Thanks for the quick reply! Do you have any recommendations regarding microphones? Best regards from Romania :)!

What mound did you use?
That is the Delkin 3-suction cup mount and a single Delkin mount with the extended selfie stick and a normal selfie stick.
@Milledge Austin appreciate it just bought the x3 super excited!
@@rudolphguzman5187 it’s a lot of fun. I have really enjoyed using it more and more.
How did you reduce the wind noise???
I would say it starts with the camera already being good at that, but there is a setting in the app.
@@Milledge.Austinwhat setting?
@@codhruv839 360 mode. That was about it. Just used the desktop app to stay focused on the car, then used Premiere Pro to enhance colors just a touch.

Definitely think 1 is my favorite, too. Hoping to use this a little more for some future projects with John.
