Those are just too cute, they will decorate the door until Christmas time.
If you want to use those fox tails to make the broom: grab a decent limb from a tree, wire the fox tails around one end to resemble a broom and then use jute to tie around the top of the tails to look like a gnarly broom. 🤓
I love them, I'm glad you took out the blue/purple.
Thanks , just made a pretty bunch of grass , little white flowers, and red berries. Wrapped it in green ribbon and hung it on my front door. Thank you
always fun, always entertaining, always inspiring ... ALWAYS SWAG !!!!
I love foraging for decor too .
Hallo Nicole and your family members so much more and a lot of VIDEO to see you
It looks like something you can buy in the stores. LOVE IT!!
Put a few of those orange leaves in the arrangement and you've got swag!
Did you see what Sunflower Steve showed Erin at The Impatient Gardener what to do with tall grasses? Twist the bundle.
No, I haven’t been able to watch any RUclips lately! I’ve been meaning to catch up.
@@FlowerHillFarm It’s definitely a “must see”!
You are a floral genius!
Now I have my Saturday afternoon project! I have a lot of those grasses and oregano. Loved the 🐈⬛ part of the video!
loved the simplicity of these ! :D
"If you're new here, sorry" = priceless.
Love the dried bunches!,,🍁🌾🎃
Look at that SWAG!!! 👀
Did some roadside foraging with my sister last week. Got some bee-u-tee-ful bittersweet. Hung the long trailing, twisty vines from my porch light. It’s looking like fall around here! I might have to see if I can find some dried grasses to copy your little bundles of fall joy. 🤎🍁💛🍂🎃🌾🧡 🔸🔶🟠🟫🟨🟧🟡
I love your silliness❤️ and of course your swag.
Ju so funny 😂 The swags are beautiful 🤩
You SO are a designer!!! I prefer your swags without the purple too. They’re so lovely!
Thank you so much!
Bootiful Boutique
fellow forager here in ME!
Thank you for sharing your creativity with us and showing us how to spend less money and use the nature and its gifts to use to make beautiful arrangements for each holiday throughout the year💫
I really like them.
The gomphrena just made it 🥰
You're a nut! You have a great, fun attitude. Sad to see another flower season end. The swags look wonderful though!
Thanks so much!
Love them!
Fantastic idea.. looks great
I had to laugh as your black cat with the "tuxedo" white spot is exactly the same as my cat "Harley" and then I have the same Beware sticky on my sliding door! Love your channel.
So cute and rustic! Love it! I was just thinking of looking in our field to see what goodies we had. We have a lot of goldenrod I know that
I am still cutting the last of the dahlias. I am growing celosia and amaranth next year. It is a wonderful idea to pick what you can, I was eyeing up some dead looking cow parsley that was over 1m high, I might go and pick it tomorrow.
Oh my gosh! I love how awesomely surprise yourself with awesome combinations!
You are a great singer
So pretty, good job!
You always brighten my day, whenever I see that you have a new video, I know that something amusing is coming:)))
Looks great!
Love it alot!
I love it❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Always loved the idea of flower farming. Born and raised on vegetable farm. Worked for my neighbor for over the last 25 years row crop farming. Absolutely love your channel. P.S. I also love your honesty and personality!
Nice! They’re really pretty!
The Kubota t! Life changing isn't it? With all the rain we have here in Oregon, I'm ordering a rain cover for my golf cart. It got a flat a week ago and I realized how exactly complicated gardening on a large scale is without it! Super cute use of the grasses and eucalyptus for fall decor! 🥰
They are beautiful! It's so fun to make something from the things you can forage from around the yard. I also love that its sustainable. I've been following some of the dried flower craft folks on instagram and I think it's such a great way to use up left overs that would normally just get composted! So, in your workshop that you build you should make a space for hanging flowers to dry for crafts in the fall:)
You’re so clever hilarious to boot.
You’re awesome , a splash of life with my morning coffee . Love your swag bouquet or broom stick or whatever you call it . 😁
Very nice!
I agree, better with just the green and white. Turned out so pretty. I was eyeing all the natural areas in our garden but somehow tangled with a chiggar last weekend while planting, and now I am...nope not going there.
Ugh! That’s no fun!
Am I the only one who died when she said “mosquito” 😂 ? You’re just awesome
Love your videos so much!
Good idea
The 2nd arrangement is BEAUTIFUL! I like it w/o the blue.
SO much fun! Loving swags.
I loved it with just the eucalyptus and the oregano!
These are gorgeous! Oh love every single piece of the swags!
Nice decorations. I’ll bet you have all kinds of gems sprinkled throughout your property. Do you have a marsh with cattails? They are amazing.
hahaha, I love you so much :D
You are the perfect amount of cray cray 🤣😂🤣😂🤣.
I love your selection of dried stems! They turned out great. So hard to see summer and fall leave us. ❤
This is so cool...the only thing I think I could forage for in my yard is some blueberry branches that have turned bright red. And even that is a bit slim. I'll be content with what I have in terms of fall interest in my yard, namely mums, a china aster and various and sundry what-nots. :) Cheers!
i have a crystal vase in my room with old dry.. roses.. eucalyptus, long dried amaranth, grasses like yours, and some dahlia.. that to my surprise dried very well.. love it ..so romantic in my room
I love that Annie!
I needed your joy today💕
Also fun for costume brooms: Hosta stems and daylily leaves.
Swaggin’ with the Pitts
🤣💐
A little suggestion for you on the clippers as someone who has found my own clippers when spreading out past year’s compost is wrap the handles in hi-viz tape - lots and lots!!
Good idea!
👏👏👏I was thinking about what you had available as I was pulling up my zinnias today. My cosmos are still looking great. Like the grass ❤️❤️❤️
My dahlias, eucalyptus, snaps, and strawflowers are still kicking!
One sprig of purple each would have added a touch of color. Beautiful creativity.
Omg, those are so cute!!
Someone sprayed their dried arrangement they foraged from a local park with hairspray (unscented). She said it's supposed to make them look nice longer.
Yes, I have that for the same reason!
Hi 👋 I'm new subscriber from Acre Homestead. She mentioned your channel and as I look around it's a great channel. 😊
👋
I learned a new word today "swag" thanks 😘
I love dried flower arrangements. Can you please go into more detail on how you got your eucalyptus to grow so well? Mine is not doing well at all and is still less than a foot tall.
good call on the white!!!!
Yes so gorgeous
Very nice! I’ve been drying all kinds of good stuff too and making fall decor. I’ve got a couple of videos on deck ready to upload on my channel soon (shameless plug but we’re all in this gardening community together ☺️). I love the use of the eucalyptus and statice on yours! They will be good decor during the winter too. 👍🏻
I love your broom swag..so 😎cool
Perfect ❤️🥰
Would love to add some cat tail, dollar tree has great ribbon. Used to forage wheat and milkweed...cats make horrible mess
All those leeeaves could make
soooooo much compost.
Any chance Brad Pitt has a collector on his mowing machine????
"They are not twins." It is so much harder to try to make them exactly the same, you can loose your mind trying to make things like that the same, much wisdom in loving them not being "twins". They are gorgeous, really classy, very simple sweetness for fall decor. BTW, I wasn't feeling the statis🤔. I am inspired. I'll "circle back" to let you know if I made time to get r done. There is a lot to work with around here along the country roads. I cut a piece of something beautiful today at the doctor's office, way back behind the office, not part of their landscaping, I wouldn't do that. I'm hoping to collect some seeds from it.
That’s why I leave the process whole. I could’ve removed the entire part with the statice in editing but I feel like finding out something doesn’t work is more genuine than hand picking all the perfect ingredients in advance. We all have different tastes and it helps to show us what we like and don’t like 🥰 Thank you!
@@FlowerHillFarm they aren’t twins, but they are still sisters as a semi famous make up guru would say lol 😂🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@FlowerHillFarm well I would love to let you know that I loved both of them just the way they were they were just simply gorgeous. And gave us plenty ideas of what we can do without spending as you said $30 to make one project. As always thank you for your ideas for both Beauty and common-sense🤩
Love this !!! Is the eucalyptus freshly cut or have you dried it and if so ,what process ? I have quite a bit of eucalyptus and want to preserve it. Just hanging it, it came out quite wrinkly. I just obtained some glycerin to try that method... hope itworks . I am curious to see what yours looks like after a few days.
Beautious
1) you need to find some cattails.
2) you should make several different bouquets & sell them as "dried bouquets - last bouquet from me in 2021"
Love the eucalyptus with it! For your snapdragons, since they are quite winter hardy, would you consider letting them over winter in that location, use it again for your snaps and see how many self seed?
I tried that last year and it all died. 😔
Hiiii
Wait! Eucalyptus?? Do you grow it from seed and an annual? I’m in a little shock. Thought it only grew in zone 8-10. Great video. Good ideas
Yea it’s an annual! It’s only a couple feet tall
Out of curiosity, why don't you save the seeds from your zinnias?
Those zinnias heads were not anywhere near ready for seed collection. Zinnia seeds are not true to the mother plant because of cross pollination. I need to know what I’m getting when I put the seed in the ground because I have a certain demand and sales outlet. Seed collection and storage can be a full time job and I already have a couple of those 🤷♀️💐🤣
Nice shirt!! Did they find your video and reach out to you??
Hahah nope, the sales guy at our local dealer handed us each one when we bought the tractor. I’ve worn it in a couple videos. 🚜
Very inspiring friend, I hope I can join in the success waiting for feedback to me
🤣🤣🤣
