  • If your looking to try a new brand of brass give peterson a try. It’s affordable and the quality is as good or better than the stuff that cost twice the price. In my opinion the small primer pocket is a real game changer when it comes to brass life!

Peterson is top shelf and made in USA. I prefer it to Lapua and Norma.

This place is only 20 mins from me! Also, I’m hoping to compete at the NH PRS Match this July!

I think the review is a good one but let's face it brass prices are not low on this stuff. In fact, it runs almost as much as Nosler and about the same a Lapua currently. But it's reasonable because this brass is as consistent and high quality.

Peterson at the time didn't have 6 Creed brass in stock. I ended up buying ADG brass. It's been great too, they seem to be neck and neck with each other. I've got some Peterson 308 brass and it's super consistent and great quality!

I have tried Alpha Munitions brass, I made a purchase of Starline brass, and next, come next year some Peterson brass. Starline SRP brass the difference between each piece 1.5, the Alpha Munition SRP 0.5, and Hornady 4.3. Alpha Munition a dollar per round, it's too much for each case. Bolt Action Reloading will have a video out this week on Peterson brass, I'm waiting to see his results from shooting Peterson brass.

I honestly had much better results out of my Alpha 6.5 CM SRP over my Petersen SRP 6.5CM. Petersen is good no doubt. Alpha and Lapua is better albeit Alpha is a little more and Lapua has had to come down some to match Alpha and Petersen. I am glad there are other top manufacturers on the scene to give Lapua some competition and really glad that they're American companies. At least I think Petersen is. Just be warned about Petersen primer pockets you will need a different de-priming stem or a whole separate de-priming die as their flash hole is I think 1.5mm instead of the standard small flash hole. I destroyed a standard de-priming stem in a die not knowing this. Bent the heck out of it and exploded the pin which of course demolished the case. I ordered a de-priming die from Mighty and that thing is awesome and will de-cap anything. I just got in a 100 Alpha 308 SRP and those primer holes are very tight!! Very delicate operation getting those seated and that is for good reason. I called Alpha just today to inquire about it since not understanding why I destroyed a case trying to prime it. They told me they consulted quite a few F-Class shooters and that is what they requested to maximize case life.

$1 a round for a case isn’t uncommon. In fact, Peterson brass hovers right at that threshold too, unless you buy in bulk which may save you $0.15 a piece

Its easy to beat. Peterson brass doesn't make brass for any of my long range rigs but adg does. So Peterson brass doesn't even exist for me.
