Nice video. Always heard you could use their box for an ammo box. It concerns me that Lapua will sell their brass loose in that box rather than have it in the brass separators with foam like Peterson does. Nosler is even worse they just sell their brass for top dollar loose in a plastic bag in a cardboard box with chatter marks where de-chamfered and an inconsistent case length and call it prepped. Myself I was so impressed with Peterson I hope to acquire more and not purchase any of the other high-end brass that is supposed to be ready to reload but is far from ready.
I recently had to contact Lapua as some new 308 brass had dented necks. They are replacing it with no argument. They are also introducing new packaging as they've found some brass getting damaged in transit. Impressed with their customer service. Their sales and marketing manager contacted me directly. I'm UK based.
Thanks for the video and time taken to do the video! It is amazing how much effort they put in designing their boxes. I wish all manufacturers do the same. Instead of the plastic bag. LOL
good thing to know! gotta get yourself some peterson brass sometimes, comes with everything you described including the foam in the lid and seems to be some high quality brass
Matt N I bought 100 pieces of Peterson brass in 6.6 creedmoor and I love them !! Beautiful brass and so far it’s awesome quality! I heard it is as good as Lapua or better!
Alpha6five wish I got the notification of your reply. Good to hear tho! I purchased their "fat neck" brass in 6.5 creedmoor and have been less than impressed. I bought their fat neck and put a lot of prep into them but the primer pockets are too loose after only 1-2 loadings on some of the pieces. I've never seen this in their 308 brass or it be as soft so I beleive it may be unique to the fat neck brass. I'm gonna try some of their other 6.5 Creedmoor brass and see if it fixes the problems plus i'd be able to do a side to side comparison to my Lapua brass if I get SR primer. Which 6.5 CM did you end up getting and hows it been working for ya?
just like some ammo boxes that you buy it doesnt have a hinge your only going to open it so many times before the plastic tears/splits,just cut the top off and use a loading tray/block
I can't help to wonder...if folks ordering Lapua brass didn't figure this out on their own...should they really be handling firearms or reloading? Thanks for the video...but at some point, natural selection has to take over again and start weaning out the weak ones.
Rivermanpauel, It is a little known secret. I guess most folks, focus on loading and totally overlook the packaging. :) Please sub and look for my new channel on Full30
RiverManPaul I wonder if Lapua thinks that Americans who believe it's pronounced La Pu Ah should be around firearms or reloading. It's pronounced Lop Wah.
Hidden? I’ve never used any thing else for brass other than Lupua but honestly if you can’t work out that these go together then I really don’t wanna be near you when you’re shooting your homeload 😂 And there is a piece of foam in these box as is a loading card. Has been for years
FFS people! If you can afford to purchase Lapua you can go to Hobby Lobby and get your own damn foam! Same with Benz....if you can afford one you can afford the extremely high maintenance/repair costs.
@@redrock425 We're now talking about a very miniscule fraction of people who can fork over a down payment and then finance a 75K+ Benz or similar only to use it as a driveway ornament for their failure to be able to afford required maintenance and gas to run it. What - possibly 1 out of 100K people? These aren't just ordinary people who are unable to manage money but village fools! But I personally know of plenty who have purchased such only to sell them within months!
Thanks 😂 feel like a dummy. Hey, you get nothing but the best from Lapua. I been buying nothing but Berger factory 6.5 130 gn ammo because they come with Lapua brass, take those to the range. Then I get free Lapua brass for reloading, but I also purchased 500 ct of Lapua brass for my 30-06. Love the Lapua brass and Berger projectiles!
Nice, I learned something today, went to the reloading room and converted my all my Lapua .308 Win boxes. Nice job.
The moment you popped the holder from the top lid, aloud I said "no sh--", smiled and clicked thumbs up.

I know. They put a lot of thought into the packaging to make it useful.
Thanks..Did not know that..Will have to check my Boxes out..
I use new carpet padding on top of cartridges, works great!
Good way to keep your Laupa Brass from getting mixed up with other brands
yes u really can't tell witch one is LAPUA, cinwester, narhody or termington. Maybe read from the bottom of the brass....
good thing to know! gotta get yourself some peterson brass sometimes, comes with everything you described including the foam in the lid and seems to be some high quality brass
Thanks, Matt!
I searched for Peterson and plan on trying out their brass. Thanks for the tip!
Peterson is wayyy up there on quality. To me, it's the best.
I plan on trying some out soon.

It will do that.
Thanks. I didn’t know this. My dealer from whom I bought it all sow didn’t know that.
Makes you wish you’d had kept all those boxes 😀. Thanks for the feedback and please share and subscribe
That’s 😎 Thanks very much
You also have to glue the tray in place or it Will come back out and spill cartridges all over.
thats clever because when people take it to the range..........its free advertising :)
Good point 👍🏻
Wow Gomer!! How long did it take you to figure that out?? lol
Thanks again
Wow. I feel dumb now. But I'm from the future and the foam is now in there!
peterson brass comes on a 50 round box with id on the box

It's pronounced Lop Wah.
Nice. Now, can we please talk about the sticker on the front?
Thanks for sharing
Thank you Mark

Well for $200+ per box, they can afford foam!!!
Where are you buying brass that it's $200?
Robert Losekamp I just wait for them to go on sale. Midway was the last place, it was about $210
@@andrewmagee1666 for what quantity? I just got a box of 100 from midway for 70 something so the $200 threw me off lol
Robert Losekamp 100rds
Robert Losekamp Yeah lol. 100rds of .338 Lapua brass is spendy. but good stuff. Reload them things about 20 times😁
My three boxes of Lapua 222 Rem brass came with foam to put on top of the cartridges, however, my 308 brass didn't have foam. Hmmmmm.
isn't that crazy? You would think all boxes would have it. Dave, Please sub and lookout for my new channel on Full30- coming soon
Did it with my grendel ammo box
Had no clue!!!!
It’s easy to overlook. 👍🏻
Excellent!
^..^~~
genius
.99 sponge and glue it to the lid
WE LANDED ON THE MOON!!!!!!!!!
Who knew???

Not necessarily so. Many people live beyond their means, buy cars on credit and can't afford to run them. It's no different with shooting 😉

Please do not be offended. Check out the pronunciation of the name Lapua. Your pronunciation is common but incorrect.
Really.....over 7 minutes that could’ve been cut to 15 seconds?
Hank, What ca I say? I like to talk lol.
Hank says the guy that hasn’t made any videos.
Marty Huggins?
Close lmao
Ok you got 100 cases in the box but it only holds 50 ...loaded

Use carpet pad
Great idea!
It's not hiden, you paid for it
Are you kidding me?!

Alpha ammunitions way better
Josh, I've never heard of them. Thanks for info

You took 7 min to explain something you could have done in under 1 min.
True. But I like to talk. 🤣
