That shot @4:57 down to the feet could be a great additional shot of it’s own in videos maybe a small box to show what the feet are doing as some of that is so technical and precise it’s good to see now and then and maybe a idea for a future video for you sometime 🤷🏼♂️✌🏻👊🏻
Very true I’m sure it would be a challenge in most cars and obviously can’t risk fixing one that could come off and go near the feet and pedals of the driver for obvious reasons
In a some cars trail braking can help you rotate into a corner how you need to whilst maintaining more speed through the corner as it helps counteract the understeer that is typical in some cars especially ones like this. Having slightly less grip in the rear aids this and allows the driver to slide the rear a little easier into the corner and rotate the car how you want to, trail braking is used a lot as it puts more weight over the front wheels, therefore letting the rear lose grip easier.
@@fragrantparrot6292 the reason why i said mostly FWD vehicles is because you need the grip on the front to accelerate and the rear to follows. If you have a RWD vehicle you'd lose grip to accelerate so this would better work in underpowered Cars that don't need that much grip in the rear.
@@mastex5575 yeah that's exactly it, but if you think of a rear engined, rear wheel drive car then there can be very little weight on the front which makes turn in harder, this is one place where it can help. You may take slightly different lines through a corner in each car so you can get on the power earlier or later depending on what your driving
Mechanical brakes mean no booster and ABS? Had my first fwd experience over the weekend. Found it very sensitive to locking up the front tires, overheating the front axle brake bias selector is not properly functioning. Great calm onboard 🙏
It's a nice lap but I thought it would go around the corners faster... You can see Thilo doing those corner speeds on his Cayman GT4 and it's not a racecar...
@@mgcharoudin power and corner speed are different as you know much better than me... I don't expect a Bugatti Veyron to have the same cornering speed as a Le Mans LMP1 car but the Bugatti has more power 🤔
Has the driver instagram ? Wanne ask him about the gear he need to drive to joangti. That guy has apparently a lap time of 7.20 with his club sport. Joangti you can find on youtube.
Car look and driving amazingly 🤌🤌 I wish VW would do a hyper Golf r with this body’s kit or something similar and push the HP too 450 a nice safe number
I really have a soft spot for the Golf TCR. Its a great looking car with all that aero on it.
Now that's a wide body 😍 It looks so aggressive. Goes like it looks too. Enjoyed the video 👍
I love to see Max Kruse Racing still rocking the GTI in TCR after several years
That was amazing ! I can't believe that this is Benny the Legend driving and people on youtube are commenting criticising his driving....WTF 🤦♀️
Such a nice lap, love the sound

yeah, but not that easy to find a position in every car
Very true I’m sure it would be a challenge in most cars and obviously can’t risk fixing one that could come off and go near the feet and pedals of the driver for obvious reasons
I just love the looks of this TCR racecar 🔥🔥
Really really love those opening sequences w/ music overlay!
Nice vid, and gives the strong impression of the great difference from a very fast road car and a car specifically set up for track only.
The B-rolls are insane Misha!
What a cool car for the Green Hell.
That was great fun to watch this racing car do it's thing! ;)
OH YES, I WAS WAITING FOR THIS ONE. Noticed it in a recent video, thank you Misha
Best hot hatch
Very nice looking Golf.
The Golf/A3/Leon Cupra platform seems great for this sort of race car.
By the camera direction you can understand where and how hard you need to turn. For Misha the camera's the wheel.
Thats a nice looking car. Quality.
This car is perfection
Great number, great color!
Great job keep it up..
From france ...🇫🇷
Full send from the parking lot!
Damn the grip ! O_O
Good video
good lap guys
BRUTAL!!!
🥐 for Misha!
Cool video 👍🏻
I would love to experience something like that one day. 😀
Awesome lap also, especially considering the low top speed.
Wow, that looked much faster than I first imagined! 🙂 I'm very jealous of you...
Ja. Dit wil ik 🤩
More fun than a super car.
I love hatchbacks 🤙
Ermaagoshh
Nice one Misha. Can you explain a little bit why the more slippery rear helps with turning?
In a some cars trail braking can help you rotate into a corner how you need to whilst maintaining more speed through the corner as it helps counteract the understeer that is typical in some cars especially ones like this. @@fragrantparrot6292 Thanks for the Info. I guess this is mostly applicable on FWDs?
@@mastex5575 Mostly any car that's more understeer biased I believe, so by nature often FWD vehicles yeah

amazing! did u mention suspension kit?
Nice foot shot. It would be nice to see feet cam instead of cabin cam in some fast lap videos.
What a lap! Misha i've always been curious about a thing, are there any RUFs that drive during tf? Or if you have ever seen one on the track?
did the car break down at 9:15? strange sound

I cant wait to get 320 on my gti mk6 👌🏻
where we can buy this wide body racing kit?
Bilstein and Eibach stickers on the car. So what did it actually ride?
Eibach are mandatory sponsor stickers of racing series
MIsha, what was the best Ring time in this Golf TCR?
E un proiettile 😎🤓
I want to own one
I love hot hatches! Hope you're doing well Misha. 😀👍
after all its a wv.. ofc it needs a cooldown before the lap is over xD
It's a nice lap but I thought it would go around the corners faster... You can see Thilo doing those corner speeds on his Cayman GT4 and it's not a racecar...
it's a Porsche with more power tho haha

200 in the golf 😢😮😮😮🎉
i like these tcr cars as they are based on affordable cars but put on steroids 💪🏻
Who does not like a wide body race car 🤷🏻♂️🔥

320hp???
Jammer dat het geen diesel is ;-), dan hadden we RingTracktor vibes gehad.
Good lap, but could have been less aggressive on the downshifts, poor gearbox! Good lap tho
Rwd or fwd?
must have been fun! but especially in the fast corners there was still room for improvement, wasn't it?
This RACE spec Golf TCR... A common GTI will never be this good unfortunately.
looks like a racing car, but reallyu not much faster than that gti from the other day. the brakes are worse.
Stick to the Road... Aeros works.
Foodshot 0/10
I drive faster home with my R 😂
