Used one this year and loved it. Pins were plenty bright and action wasn’t tight at all. Couple of items need design mods like access to the pin lite and dead stop settings need incremental adjust ability. Overall good sight for an eastern white tail set up.
Hey! Just wanted to say, i was in spokane valley archery a couple days ago and Justin helped me with my bow because I'm a total noob to compounds. I happened upon your channel on RUclips and was super surprised to recognize you from the shop. Just wanted to say you guys are awesome and ill be back for any of my needs! Awesome review cheers!
Would love to see another review of this after you've had more time to play with it and maybe try it out. This is one on my radar for 3d and an honest opinion would be great.
Can you please do a video on sight tapes? Specifically on why/how the yardage can be off. For ex: 20-60 yds is dead on, but 80+ is off, or how your middle yardage can be off even when 20, 60 and 80 is dead on, 40 and 50 yds can be off. I've ran into both many times and would like your take on it. TIA
It is set stiff so the wheel does not bump and move accidentally but simply lessening the tension you can get the wheel to move at whatever desired speed you wish.
The tension is adjustable on the wheel. It is a bad ass sight for the price, personally think the sight is better then both the spot Hogg and black gold counter parts especially for the price point.
Mfjj there are two set screws on the dial lock that you can back out to loosen up the dial. There’s also two set screws (top and bottom) of the gear wheel that you can back out about a quarter turn too
I believe the CBE Trek and Trek Pro are similar sights with the dual indicator that have similar price points below. 400$ Would be awesome if you did a review on the CBE Trek Pro!!! Great Stuff thanks for the review!
I'd like to know what you think about the dialed argos bit get a newer produced one with tighter tolerances and the man cave tour would be great, is it your garage turned into the cave?
Hey MFJJ, really wondering what your thoughts are on the RL2 DTM 3pin? I see you are selling it on the site and I’m trying to build a budget bow build but if this one is worth the extra $80, I might just wait and get this. Any thoughts are appreciated!
I know it’s a big ask because you are very busy but could you make a video of you sighting in these sights that you do reviews on and give us your thoughts likes and dislikes? Also what in your opinion is the most important thing I can do to improve on shot accuracy and execution?
I am looking for a RL left handed sight. DO you know if they make one. I see on the redline sight that their is a Left Hand option but its always not avialable. If you could find me one I would love it.
Is that the one with the USB rechargeable illuminator built in? I thought I saw it at ATA and can't remember if this is the one, or if there is a different model that has it.
How do you address the vibrations that the extended dovetail ype of sights add to a bow ?? I have a SureLoc Phoenix & Fury that resonate like tuning forks...
hello mfjj..i am going to get off topic because i didnt where to ask this question..my question is...what kind of bow would you recommend for a person that shoots bear bow or instiinctive(no sights or release)thanks john
I appreciate you doing the review but we honestly couldn't see the sight. The camera does not get close enough for us to see what you're pointing out. Even the pins talking about they're we can't see. It would just help if more detailed camera work. Just a thought I still enjoyed the video and appreciate you doing what you do.
Looks like a great lower price point sight. Have you considered doing a top 5 sights of the year video? Or is that something you would avoid as a dealer?
I like redline they have a good customer service the only thing I don’t like is the pins and also how to adjust them the screws and fibers on there pins suck big time
I have the 3pin version of this the rl 2dtm and its pure junk the rail is not level or square rather and you cant adjust it if you bump it the windage and 3rd axis moves even with all screws tight. no manual the pins are super dim have to use the light even in the sun. nothing but a metal housing screwed to plastic. worst site ive ever tried might be worth it if it was 50 bucks...
You forgot to mention the best part lol why it's called the torch. The rechargeable sight light built in. Love your videos MFJJ!
Used one this year and loved it. Pins were plenty bright and action wasn’t tight at all. Couple of items need design mods like access to the pin lite and dead stop settings need incremental adjust ability. Overall good sight for an eastern white tail set up.
We need a man cave tour
This sight has been at the top of my potential sight upgrades. Thanks Josh for giving us the rundown on it.

Absolutely love my Torch! Highly recommend 👍🏻
Thanks JJ! The built in rechargeable USB sight light also! Redline dropping dimes on the overpriced world of archery boom!
CBE Engage Hybrid may work with the bridge lock. Its roughly in the same price range and it comes in 1,3,and 5 pin.
Yes it does work with bridge lock system. I have the 3 pin, which I’m pretty happy with. Tons of adjustments!
Would love to see another review of this after you've had more time to play with it and maybe try it out. This is one on my radar for 3d and an honest opinion would be great.
Would love to see you test out on a bow and see what you think about it against the higher priced options
Just bought one from your website, can’t wait to run it for TAC this year! Thanks for the great reviews and awesome content!

Can you do a direct comparison and review mounted and shooting with a bow? This sight and a Dual Trac?

Thanks for doing this review. I am one that had asked about it. I thought it looked robust but wanted your thoughts as well.
Good honest review, thanks Josh.👍
Do you think the black gold dual track is worth the extra money compared to this site ?
Love reviews like this. Brands I’ve never heard of that don’t break the bank.
What about the Apex Covert single pin sight? Lot of sight for a budget price.
I believe the CBE Trek and Trek Pro are similar sights with the dual indicator that have similar price points below. 400$ Would be awesome if you did a review on the CBE Trek Pro!!! Great Stuff thanks for the review!
Had the same question, a review on a CBE Trek Pro would be great.
The tension is adjustable...they have video on it on their RUclips channel.
I would love to see you review our Elvish Tac sight light. Page Pearce has been shooting our light some some time now and she’s crushing it
Waiting on my left hand one for my phase 4, said should be in end of month. Redline is only 1.5 hrs from me. (Ohio)
One new rest that is intriguing is the new CBE Defy Micro. Would be nice to see a review on that.
Top 5 or 3 thumb buttons from feel to price point maybe? Lots of people switching to thumb style releases and need a good platform to start with
I'd like to know what you think about the dialed argos bit get a newer produced one with tighter tolerances and the man cave tour would be great, is it your garage turned into the cave?

MFJJ, you ever try Schaeffer XV rests? Curious what your opinion on those are.
Is there a way to mount a ultra view scope on it?? Or any scope for that matter. I know my RL2 doesn't and not a huge fan of their housings.
My Redline is going back. My rail that has the splines for the sight to travel on is plastic and I can break it off by hand.
How about doing some stabilizer comparison videos? Some various brands pros and cons etc. Keep it up man love what your doing!
Is that the one with the USB rechargeable illuminator built in? I thought I saw it at ATA and can't remember if this is the one, or if there is a different model that has it.
Many thanks!
Review and thoughts on the 3 pin Rocky Mountain Driver Dovetail Mount Sight, I would love to know if it fits into the Mathews V3X too!
Liked mine except the frame bent. Bent it back but never trusted it after
How do you address the vibrations that the extended dovetail ype of sights add to a bow ?? I have a SureLoc Phoenix & Fury that resonate like tuning forks...
Is this lighter than the spothog triple?
Love my red line RL3 DTM
Definitely need some reviews on quivers, specifically super light and mounts super tight to the bow. Not tight spots though lol
I have an elite with an elite quiver but a few manufacturers have the same triangle holes on the risers, mine gets very tight to the bow.
Check out the RL-1 carbon 3 arrow quiver from Redline. I love mine!
Does it have amount for a Hoyt?
Curious on ur opinion about serius archery Gemini arrows
Are you a B3 dealer? If so can you do a review on the exact rize hunter?
Would love to see a review of HHA Tetra Max RYZ
I’m having trouble sighting it in to match sight tapes
Can you do a bow review on sanlida Dragon X10 please
hello mfjj..i am going to get off topic because i didnt where to ask this question..my question is...what kind of bow would you recommend for a person that shoots bear bow or instiinctive(no sights or release)thanks john
Pull the white bottom out of box. Has tools and metal and paper sight tapes
Are you still working with elk shape
I appreciate you doing the review but we honestly couldn't see the sight. The camera does not get close enough for us to see what you're pointing out. MFJJ is the offset for a Bridgelock near the first axis, it looks like it. If so, BOO!
Anyone know if the UV3 Scope works with this sight?
Are they making left handed sights yet? Couldn’t get one last year, which made my eyes rain. -simple jack
Lol, a month
Nice shirt 👕
Still waiting on the PSE shoot down Pro review!
Dose redline stighs work with you uv3
I don't believe so
Lefty?
Like to see b3 comp hunter and rize hunter review
Can you mount a ultra view housing to it ??
Spoke with Redline the other day and they said it might be an option in the future, but it is not recommended at this time.
Looks like a great lower price point sight. Have you considered doing a top 5 sights of the year video? Or is that something you would avoid as a dealer?
Not a bad idea
That would be very helpful. I'm also considering the Black Gold because of their bomb proof reputation. Thanks for the video.
I like redline they have a good customer service the only thing I don’t like is the pins and also how to adjust them the screws and fibers on there pins suck big time
You need to do a vid on your man cave .
I’ll get tonit
I have the 3pin version of this the rl 2dtm and its pure junk the rail is not level or square rather and you cant adjust it if you bump it the windage and 3rd axis moves even with all screws tight. no manual the pins are super dim have to use the light even in the sun. nothing but a metal housing screwed to plastic. worst site ive ever tried might be worth it if it was 50 bucks...
I wouldn’t roll with a trader.
Ehhh
DIY video idea, how YOU change a center, and loop serving.
