It’s a great point about trying different ways of reading! I love physical books (especially with illustrations) but I also love my trusty old Kindle Paperwhite. I think it depends on circumstances and stuff going on in our lives a lot - when I’m mostly home I’d rather have a physical book but if I’m camping or even just commuting more than usual it’s so much easier to throw a Kindle in my backpack and not think about choosing the one book to take with me. So yeah, it’s nice hearing about you trying both with all the extreme arguments that often go with it.

I so dislike all the extreme arguments out there. As a teacher, I see illiteracy rampant through kids and finding what works for them individually. I just think we need to be open to allowing all forms of reading. Figure out what you like, ya know?
For me, I don’t know what it is about my kindle that I love so much, but I do, so I’m glad it makes you feel a certain way that there are open people out here!

@@BookishMandy Yeah, I remember when ereaders first became a thing some family friends were FORCING their family members to get rid of their beloved home book libraries and that was traumatic even to hear of, let alone to go through. And at the same time I have friends who travel a lot and I keep telling them to get a Kindle but they go on about the smell and sound of paper. And nothing is really stopping us to have the best of both worlds!
I love how soft the cover of your Kindle looks, I gotta see if I can find something like that for mine - I have one of those more plasticky covers and it's starting to crumble a bit but still protects it pretty well.

Do it! You won’t regret it. Or maybe you will, depending on your reading tastes. 😂
