At least he picked the AWD van, I'm not sure how long a FWD van run would go. That heavy roof rack and bumper making him bounce all over though 😆 Pricesless

I like how Drae slowly allow himself to cheat more and more and finding excuses for it haha. I would have done the same.
@KryptonicShadow my biggest peeve is any game he plays he skips any and every tutorial out of instinct and not 5 seconds later he says he doesn't know what to do
@@knomesaynmafk4789 Yeah. It’s fine when he knows what to do and is just affably confused (like @wonay says, incredibly relatable), but when he brings it on himself by skipping basic details it can be incredibly frustrating.

@@coolcatmanc8476its funny, which brings likes and subscribers, and he's a daily uploader, RUclipsrs are overworked and the way they play games is heavily affected, which is why they can miss things that seem obvious

Hi Drae! Today, I decided to revisit your channel after about 6 years. When I was 9 years old (8 years ago) I started watching your videos, mainly the best builds in the besiege because there were almost none in my native language. I watched even though I did not understand anything. The fact that I watched your videos for about 2 hours every day for like a year straight had a sliiight side effect... You taught me English.
You are the reason I had a huge head start in school, you unlocked 90% of the internet to me and I have a part time job in an international software company where I wouldn't be without good English.
Thank you, not everyone can make videos good enough that someone would watch without understanding a word.

Is the map available?
Yeah, the trailer less gap is understandable with that skip, and the checkpoints were a fantastic idea, if I made it half way and fell down several times, I would also use checkpoints
Yeah, that was a complete glitch, there was supposed to be a building there. It is fixed in the newer version though :)
I don’t think it’s a glitch, I think you’re supposed to land on the “water” just across the bridge, he nearly hit it twice. It keeps going up.

I feel like drae needs a steering wheel setup and a pov cam to get the full extent of the map.
I will say i enjoy how this guy doesn't restrain himself from freaking out if something dumb happens lol. Might just be something i notice but when other people freak out they usually laugh it off which is fine but i enjoy the raw emotion more than anything XD.

I'm just going to note- this looks like a Map Graystillplays would be torturing himself in GTA with.
The beauty of Getting Over It, and what games like Only Up (or this mod) lack is that effectively, Getting Over It DOES have checkpoints. There were lots of places where you knew you couldn't fall very far. That's not to say that once you reach a spot you could never fall back to the start, but there were plenty of places where you could relax a bit. Only Up has virtually nowhee where you know you are safe from falling all the way, and that's why it will never get as popular with the casual player.

I give you major props for doing this with the new van. You took a hard course and made it way harder. You stuck with it. You definitely deserve to have the self made check points since you had the van. Nice job man. 👍. I do think you should do a charity stream where no check points is the goal and no cheating. People can donate to a charity you choose as you play
I've built something like this for a Warthog run on Halo Reach once. It was fun but this looks so frustrating. Lol

clarification: idc that he "cheated" (honestly I'd probably do the same after a while as a way to practice before attempting without) it's just funny that he did so then has an existential crisis about maybe possibly idk maybe not doing it again lol

We have a "mom" van. It's a Toyota Sienna that we got in 2012 and it still runs like a dream. The car is very comfortable and handles very well.

This reminds me of the 2nd italian job game (with the newer BMW Mini's.) The stunts were so frustrating in the side games, the speed had to be perfect to make jumps and stop in time otherwise there would be a ledge, a drop and checkpoints were few! I screamed at that game but I totally completed it in the end

It saddens me how many people credit Only Up (and sometimes Getting Over It) with inventing this style of gameplay. It's been around in modding scenes since at least 2000 with the epic Motocross Madness 2, possibly even earlier in something like the Quake community.

Honestly, it's better to show off the map than have the whole video being only the first half or so. Checkpoints just make a better experience and you never skipped ahead
My mom used to take us camping in a van like this and we drove through some extreme shit man. If there's a vehicle to beat all vehicles it IS the mom van

v8 will prolly add weight to the front so the already front heavy van gets heavier, tires can only offer so much traction. a v6 supercharged option might offer similar power with leess weight idk
