New sub, Wow Mazzy, love her, her and her music is its own special vibe. Huge bean bag chair, headphones, candles, glass of bourbon and get lost in the music. Thanks so much for reaction, Peace
Except the 80s, no time in man’s long and glorious history will ever compare to the Regan era, British new-wave, Indiana Jones 80s!!!… GOOD LORD COME ON!!!!!
Not a style (or speed) of music I usually enjoy, but this was really....enchanting. I’m kind of a sucker for this vibe, where it’s very somber, but in a way that feels peaceful. It evokes the image of an old widow, looking back on the best times of her life, knowing they’re all over now and there’s nothing more to look forward to. But still being grateful for those times, and accepting that they’re gone, as much as she longs to relive them. I don’t know, weirdly specific take, but this is a powerful song.
Fade Into You was released in 1993 and in 1996, The Wallflowers released 6th Ave Heartache was released and the slide on the guitar was similar in style.
Whatever you read didn’t truly explain the lyrics of the song. The song is about a guy who’s broken inside or who’s damaged to the point that they can’t believe anyone can like him or care about him. That’s why she keeps repeating “ I can’t believe you never knew” which probably means she can’t believe he never knew how much she cared about him or was infatuated by him
I really think you should check out july talk - the news .... it is pretty much a leah song... as much as i love peter's voice... the song is very relevant to what is going on in the world
Its disappointing, you could never release a song like this anymore, it's too slow, it takes its time to get to the "chorus" there's no trap drums just a snare and a tambourine.
What do you mean? Radio play isn’t the only target demographic. Bands like Godspeed You! Black Emperor are still beloved and put out another well received project just last year. If anything, the radio demographic is dying out and spaces like online databases for the younger generations are taking over. The rise of hit experimental bands like Black Country New Road and Black MIDI are good examples. Commercialized pop still has a lot of power, but distribution is steadily becoming more balanced.
marijuana and Hope's voice is the nearest to perfection , she wrote from the heart and was painfully shy on stage
I would have been 27 when this song was released, I was so in love with her! Would not be out of place in Twin Peaks.
So many people lost their virginity to this song. This was our go-to song when we went parking.
And then some of us just enjoyed the music.
Perfect for a slow ride.
I love this song. Was a big hit in UK when it came out. Both mainstream and alternative if I remember correctly.
Oh man this is an all time great imo, love this song so much

It was definitely a fantastic track!
the 90s sounded less stressful and their music is the best from this century
to me the 90s seemed pretty stressful, but yes the 90s was a great decade for music
nothing will replace the 90's

And the smiles cover your heart

Check out the Muzz cover of this song, it's really neat and I've been finding myself shamelessly listening to that one more than the original lately.
This song is about a guy who’s broken inside or damaged who can’t believe anyone can like him or even care about him
I just went to listen to that version after reading your comment and wished i never did. It was awful
This one hits hard family..👍💪🍸

Their music is sound tracked in I believe it was over 30 movies and tv shows so not surprised it sounds familiar
Great song 👍
I know this song from being used in some tv shows and movies
Some people say Billie Eilish sounds a lot like Hope Sandoval. Perhaps Billie has taken some inspiration from Hope.
SONGS ABOUT BREAKING UP!
YET FOLKS BE HOOKING UP!!
If you liked this, you might perhaps like Still Corners - I suggest reviewing The Trip and perhaps also Black Lagoon by them sometime.

my suggestion is Orestes by A Perfect Circle, just such a great song
The song was slightly influenced by Neil Youngs, Helpless
I'm a big fan of Neil Young. This is cool!
Before you ask knocking on heavens door was heavily influenced by Neil Young's Helpless.
Interesting! Never knew that.

n the 90s Hope Sandoval would haunt my dreams ... sometimes she still does
Lana del Ray is heavily influenced by Hope Sandoval’s performance of Fade Into You.

You lose yourself listening to this.
