30:22 what PJ was trying to say was, when they had the conversation about Shradha wanting to sacrifice herself, he showed rage at first being selfish and all. Then Shradha explains to her that he's the Rakshak and he should let her go. And after a moment, he ACCEPTS that Shradha is going to be sacrificed and goes to save the woman. After this supposed "emotional" Scene, he starts to show humor in front of the women. Like dancing in front of Tamanah or singing "soft chitti" In front of chitti or saying Statue over. Then when he finds out that all women are dying anyway, he rushes there to slay Sarkatta. But what he was lacking was the determination of not letting Shraddha sacrifice herself. What the director should have done was get the Sarkatta earlier in the scene when they were arguing without Rajkumaar accepting her sacrifice and still trying to hang on to her. Then show that He overpowers both of them and when he's sucking the soul out of Shraddha, all the women are dying too.
I think Rajkumar Rao will be like LOKI of this universe... Uska bhi ek GLORIUS PURPOSE hai... 19:13 As far as I remember (and I remember movie dialogues very well), she did not say "Stree ne mujh se bhi kuch chhina hey." in part 1. She said, "Maine bhi koi apne ko khoya hey." and it was not clear who was the reason. That's why I think the reveal/ twist of her being the daughter of stree makes perfect sense. And it is understandable if they didn't mention that stree had a daughter in part 1. Then that plot point would have been unfinished/ not getting any closer or not having any use throughout the movie, leading to people asuming that Shraddha's character might be that daughter which should be revealed by 2nd part.
Many things were cleared in this part First she was the daughter of stree whose aim was to get mukti for her mother which she wanted in first part also Where she wanted to kill stree taki use mukti mille par jab Vicky ne bola that she wants to respect and not to kill her so she decided to not kill stree but uski choti kat ke powerless banade so that she can’t harm people And she becomes sone sort of free and woh khud uski choti le le cause she know ki sarkata aayega stree ke jate hee and she will be prepared and she did the same Stree ko harana hee uske liye mukti ka kaam tha In part 2 she comes back sarkate ko harane ke liye and usko harate hee stree ko mukti mil gayi The only thing not cleared was whom did she lose against stree which she said in 1st part ? Making shraddha as daughter of stree was unnecessary for the storyline. It was the only thing which let the movie down for me. They could have maintained the mystery around her and shown her collecting powers from other witches and spirits like mohit said and they could have used it as a good plot device for a big event coming up in the universe. Bit disappointed by that decision.
I really wish if all of you had talk on Kolkata tragic incident. I was really expecting from Mohit Sir, as he is doctor himself. You all have good following, you could atleast speak 5 mins on this tragic incident.
Rajkumar Rao's Vicky is weaker as a protagonist in the sequel compared to the first part... He is not active protagonist he is a passive shell which is pushed by the plot... Where in the first part he actively chooses to defeat stree in order to save the village in the sequel the emotion isn't there... He's literally pushed by those mahila mandal into the climax... The whole film he's only there to simp about Shraddha... And that's why I agree with PJ on that he doesn't really get to do much in the climax in that sense... Also the inclusion of bhediya in the climax doesn't really do much but steals much needed limelight from Vicky... Overall Stree 2 was a decent film... But the climax was definitely weaker than the first film...

30:22 what PJ was trying to say was, when they had the conversation about Shradha wanting to sacrifice herself, he showed rage at first being selfish and all. Then Shradha explains to her that he's the Rakshak and he should let her go. And after a moment, he ACCEPTS that Shradha is going to be sacrificed and goes to save the woman. After this supposed "emotional" Scene, he starts to show humor in front of the women. Like dancing in front of Tamanah or singing "soft chitti" In front of chitti or saying Statue over. Then when he finds out that all women are dying anyway, he rushes there to slay Sarkatta. But what he was lacking was the determination of not letting Shraddha sacrifice herself. What the director should have done was get the Sarkatta earlier in the scene when they were arguing without Rajkumaar accepting her sacrifice and still trying to hang on to her. Then show that He overpowers both of them and when he's sucking the soul out of Shraddha, all the women are dying too.

19:13 As far as I remember (and I remember movie dialogues very well), she did not say "Stree ne mujh se bhi kuch chhina hey." in part 1. She said, "Maine bhi koi apne ko khoya hey." and it was not clear who was the reason. That's why I think the reveal/ twist of her being the daughter of stree makes perfect sense. And it is understandable if they didn't mention that stree had a daughter in part 1. Then that plot point would have been unfinished/ not getting any closer or not having any use throughout the movie, leading to people asuming that Shraddha's character might be that daughter which should be revealed by 2nd part.

Making shraddha as daughter of stree was unnecessary for the storyline. It was the only thing which let the movie down for me. They could have maintained the mystery around her and shown her collecting powers from other witches and spirits like mohit said and they could have used it as a good plot device for a big event coming up in the universe. Bit disappointed by that decision.

Rajkumar Rao's Vicky is weaker as a protagonist in the sequel compared to the first part... He is not active protagonist he is a passive shell which is pushed by the plot... Where in the first part he actively chooses to defeat stree in order to save the village in the sequel the emotion isn't there... He's literally pushed by those mahila mandal into the climax... The whole film he's only there to simp about Shraddha... And that's why I agree with PJ on that he doesn't really get to do much in the climax in that sense... Also the inclusion of bhediya in the climax doesn't really do much but steals much needed limelight from Vicky... Overall Stree 2 was a decent film... But the climax was definitely weaker than the first film...
