Nice job. I never knew there was a crimp tool that can close off the flow. I would be nervous to use that tool. I there a concern the copper pipe can get damaged and leak from the wear of crimping and expanding back to the original shape?
To have a plumber who invests there tools into there business is what separates the masters from the hackers. Residents need to understand how costly it can be to have the proper tools to make these jobs happen. This is why a plumber can charge as much as they want bc you’re not only paying for the service but also the knowledge, insurance, inventory and equipment required to do these jobs properly. It takes a lot jobs to pay for the tools you use and it only comes at experience and knowledge. Good work Mike and god bless the need to share your knowledge with others
I just bought the Lenox close quarters kit, 1/2 3/4 and 1" they all threaded and the 1/2 broke wanted to try something besides being a Milwaukee billboard.. what a disappointment... GJ
Good stuff, Ive never frozen a line where i didnt bug out a little when making the first cut😂. Im about to buy that crimp tool, though. That seems well worth it😊
Definitely also helps to know more than one way to do something, and have the tools for it all too.
