Man, anybody could make a reaction video. Lots of people could make an entertaining reaction video. But YOU, sir... there is a reason you are king of the reaction game. You hear every word and every sound in the mix, you comprehend what an artist is getting at every time, and you make it make sense, FAR beyond what most of us can catch from a track like this on first listen. @@wishtheyunderstoodme fast rapping is considered an alternative style of rap because pop artists and og rappers don’t rap fast at all also the fact that it’s not hip hop makes it an alternative style of rap, because rap is originally a vocal style only in hip hop, so rap in any song that’s not hip hop is alternative rap.
For example, tech n9ne, busta rhymes, hopsin, token etc. are all alternative rappers, the same as Ronnie and falling in reverse only do alternative rap because the music they make is not at all hip hop
In my opinion, the reason why the genre change works so well and flows seamlessly while also making you surprised is because Ronnie’s flow and the drums switch places. If you think about it, in the rap section, the drums have a pretty slow rhythm that kept the pace pretty steady, all while Ronnie is just goin nuts. Then, they switch so the drums are going fast as fuck while he’s keeping the tempo. Big brain move right there. Love these guys.

@@wishtheyunderstoodme I'm not a troll. I've been listening to Falling in Reverse for over a decade - but this is just trendy rap-rock from a band who's biggest song is doing literally this but better (Popular Monster).
This sound way more like Tom MacDonald (with some Eminem and Drake influence) than it does Falling in Reverse - and Tom MacDonald is fucking trash too.
But I'm going to go out on a limb and say you probably like Tommy too lol

@@wishtheyunderstoodme Sure, lyrically the meaning is fine (although, I knew from the beginning we'd have a 'everyone is so sensitive nowadays' line and sure enough...).
Other then that, the instrumental sounds like every "epic" NF song - in fact the entire beginning sounds exactly like Returns. Then he break through the ground and has the "I got Enemies" which straight from Drake's "Energy" from the sound design to the flow.
He then sounds exactly like Tech N9ne and (nowdays anyway) Dax with the multilayered voice on a word every other line, and then right after that with the "very fast" part where he's across the desk from the Devil - sounds like it was taken directly from Godzilla by Eminem.
The most unique part about it was the end, but the actual rap section was just played out.
its crazy because you know for a fact that while ronnie was writing this song, he 100% was imagining you and what youre reaction was going to be. Youre the guy who analyzes his flow the best and he knows that. Think about that bro thats wild!

@@dhockedy1273 they couldn't be any further apart in rap styles and Tom is riddled with words that all end in phobic, would end Ronnies career as someone who borders on the fence of what should and shouldn't be said (i mean Ronnie does this in a good way) - used to be a huge fan of Tom since his very early days but the bigger he got the more his views came out, still listen to his older stuff but thats it
I can't remember the last time I heard a track like this. The way this has been composed and delivered from my point of view is similar to the affect that Queen did with Bohemian Rhapsody for the music world. This track is going to be a big hit for a long time. Well done FIR!
So glad someone said this! I feel like right between the genre switch there’s a bit of homage paid to Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody in particular with the short operatic bit thrown in there! There’s so many reasons Ronnie is one of my favorite artists but it boils down to the fact that this man is overflowing with talent. Love it!

I feel like this song is kinda like Ronnie’s resume where he lays all his cards down on the table and showcases just how many styles and genres he’s capable of not only pulling off but his absolute mastery of them! Not only do you have the rap skills but he changes sub-genres from MGK and Tech N9ne, to Drake, to Eminem Godzilla style, and then hits you with just a snippet of Queen-style vocal layering in transition to old school FiR and ETF punk/post hardcore, before breaking it down into classic djent, while finishing things off with brutal screams/metal. I mean, DAMN! This song is 100% just Ronnie showing off from start to finish (while also mixing in some humorous beef reincarnation (Sebastian Bach getting laptops dumped on his head lol)! As a pure song to enjoy simply listening to, this track is maybe not my favorite despite how cohesive and seamless all the mashups are pulled off, but as a demonstration of his unparalleled diversity of styles and vocal/lyrical range this whole thing is just next, NEXT level!
YOU are the KING of reactions. The amount of detail you deliver is insane. I get every channel is their own style but yours actually has a purpose not just saying "that was insane". You dig deep and find the emotion in lyrics which is a huge part of a song. It is what brings purpose to a song and you help people see its not just a cool beat and rapping merged with heavy. @@henrytawnn8694 losing my mind, losing my life, and drugs are a part of a trilogy of songs. Popular Monster was a sort of sequel and is absolutely banging. Then anything after that. I am not a vampire, drug in me is you are some of their older songs that are really good too (more pop-punk though) and they did reimagined versions of them styled more dramatically. There are some other ones too that are pretty solid.
Name a genre and they have probably done really well in some way.

This is supposed to be Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row) who had Twitter beef with Ronnie on Twitter over Ronnie's need of his laptops with the backing tracks for their live performance. He took a real boomer stance on it and Ronnie roasted him in his usual entraining savage way.
