I adore lavender in fragrances. It’s my favorite. Girl I even love Elizabeth Arden Blue Grass which is a lavender and spice , clean fresh perfume that many people say is old lady because it has aldehydes. 😂

It is definitely a lighter version of it. So it doesn’t have as much longevity. A really amazing dupe though because the YSL is my #1 favorite

I think I prefer this one to Golden Decade even... it seems easier to wear and lighter but still beautiful to me.

@etheljvp1291 I have a decant of Tharwah Gold, the real Libre and Libre Intense and Golden Decade. Golden Decade is much closer to Intense. Tharwah Gold is supposed to be an Intense dupe as well, and as soon as you spray it, it is easily recognised. However...Tharwah Gold is a Jasmine focused (much stronger than in Libre or GD) fragrance without giving you much mandarin and orangeblossom - sth that's definitely present in the real deal Libre and the Zara - and is really much softer too in the way it smells, if you know what you mean. Amber or tonka is not really present, and the lavender is a whiff in the beginning and that's it. Projection and longevity is very disappointing as well. It disappears after an hour or so. At least on me. Maybe after a year of maceration it'll be better, but seeing as Golden Decade was a beast from the start and is still much cheaper despite the major price raise of recent.
If you like soft and discreet in your sweet scents, and you want a purely Jasmine centred fragrance, then go for Tharwah Gold. It is absolutely elegant and nice, but I think it is way too expensive for the quality RE longevity/projection.

Golden Decade, Sublime Epoque and Violet Blossom were my three fist blind buys from Zara. Still part of my ride or die today, I can´t be without Golden Decade in winter. Also, it lasts ages on me.

Coco, you're absolutely fabulous! I'm so happy I found your channel, I love your style! Also, I have Golden Decade and Libre Intense as well. Libre lasts very long, on hair till next day, on dress days... But Golden Decade is very, very similar, also has very good longevity and a pretty projection. People can't tell the difference and complimented me... more when a wear Zara! :) Golden decade IS a masterpiece dupe.

I have libre intense and the Edt version, I also have golden decade. 9/10 times I get more compliments from Golden decade than the originals from YSL. I buy back up bottles of golden decade. With the economy and inflation I’m not spending my money on the $100 plus bottle of YSL. No ma’am!

If you’ve not yet, PLEASE check out Maison Alhambra Libbra Intense (also sold by Leonie Intense bc the naming is sooo comically similar). It’s the best $20 I’ll ever spend on a fragrance…you will smell it on your clothing 2-3 days later.

@cocopebz I'm also a major Libre fan, but am still missing the Le Parfum. Can you tell me if it's really different? (I'm in a wheelchair and going fragrance shopping isn't easy with unreachable busstops, stores with too high entrances etc).
