Love this video your voice is so neat and clear that I can understand every detail that your saying and you speak professionally and straight to the point. you've explained a lot in just 3 mins. kodus from philippines!
Architecture Inspirations Hi Minh thanks for your reply can you explain ray trace settings and global illumination settings in depth and which rendering setting values are best for fast and good quality rendering
Any video you make is helpful Minh ! For me, the hardest part of the render is lighting. I'm always kind of struggling to reach a satisfying result in daylight renders. My dome lights always shine way different between setting preview and frame buffer :(
hi, great tutorial. out of the topic question, how do you organize sketch up related files on your computer? like components, materials, downloaded materials and components. Do you do it per project? my worry on this, i will end up probably same materials or components in my computer but in different folders, thus taking up some disk space. any tips on this? thanks
I organize materials per project because I sell my models too, but for components, I try to have them in a main library that I can access for other projects.
Hi Minh! I hope you read this. So I was inspired to get materials from Poliigon for better quality. But Some materials have some maps that I do not know where to put, like on Fabrics - the Fuzz map, there is also Mask map, ID map, Ambient Occlusion and what not on other materials. I search youtube for tutorials and I have not seen any content tackling this. I am using SKP Vray. I hope you consider having a tutorial video dedicated for downloaded maps in Poliigon and how to use it. Thanks!
Might be a stupid question. But is there anyway to change the scale of HDRI? I set up a dome light with a HDRI in my model but the HDRI looks massive in comparison the house that was in the model. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
There is not a way to change the HDRI because it's an image that's meant to wrap around your whole model, 360 degree. So if you scale it up or down, it will be distorted and won't look right. I would suggest finding a different HDRI that best fit your model. HDRIHaven is a good resource ^.^
Hey Minh when I use spot lights in my scene the ceiling is rendering significantly darker (almost black when the exposure is right for the rest of the room) than the rest of the room. Even adjusting cone and penumbra angle doesn't seem to affect it, is there anything you can think of for this?
@@gertpari-an8193 Hey man, my problem was because I had the global illumination slider turned off for some reason. Check that to see if it will fix your issue.
can I request? I want to watch a full video about: - how to set day & night time background - how to set sun-shading or sun shadow in interior render - how to set "CURTAIN" material & glass material in day & time - how to set the lighting (spotlight, rectangle light, normal downlight, in day & night time - how to set neon flex lighting interior - how to set interior lighting in day & night time thank-you:)
Hey, your videos really help me in my personal work and keep creating them. I had a question of you could please help me out, my vray render is losing alot of details when it gets rendered. The image size is kept to 1920*1080 and on highest quality, but the details are still not clear, what should I do?
I literally have a project submission tomorrow and freaking out cause this video explains everything so clearly but for some reason I’m struggling to add the spotlight to the component and have it multiply over to the other spotlights in the component. The thing he explains in (3:37) just not working 😭😭😭
Pls slow down your vedio speed 10% and highlight your mouse pointer. Cz your vedios are so fast and you put so much information in that. Its hard to understand each & every thing and to watch the pointer.. so plzz..😊🙏😊
Well thats help but this is still not rendering completely 😅 i mean just few incomplete patch unrendered , maybe something wrong with my gpu or software bug

Hey just found about you, amazing! Already subscribed. I would like to know how you make sketch up to isolate (?) the group that you were in?
It's called "hide rest of model" I assign a shortcut to it so I can easily toggle it on and off when modeling😊
which is better in downlight? IES or spotlight? mostly I used IES then i saw this vids.
I use Spotlights a lot because it's just more convenient for me and they're realistic enough. Unless I'm trying to go for a specific look. 😄
Can you reccomend a good work station for using sketchup and vray? something not too expensive but still reasonably good please!! many thanks
Cool, thx! What the camera settings for this night scene?
pretty much default settings, I might have increased the exposure a bit but that's about it

Yes!
Is 16 GB ram enough for smooth render in sketchup vray
Hello
Could you tell me which version of vray for sketch up can can lock scene.
I think vray 3.6 and up?
How can you make lighting from a closed room? No sunlight and all the four wall is completely closed?
How did you use hdri as a background only? Without casting any light.
You can turn off affect diffuse and turn off shadows in the domelight settings
