I just thank God that he was around when my young parents had their first car. One of my first memories was listening to Little Richard on the car radio. My parents could have easily been influenced by country music, but upbeat, fun music made driving more exciting. We always had Little Richard music in our home, too, and it sure made for a fun childhood! Rest in Peace, Sir.

Just one of the many geniuses who were completely blown away and greatly inspired by this one of a kind talent. 87 years is an incredible run but it seems far too short now that he's gone. He left us an incredible legacy and gift in his music though, play it loud and laugh and dance with those you love, it's what he would want!

Little Richard! What can we say? He was surely a legendary. I mean he showed everyone how to rock. From Elvis to the beatles and to all singers that became so obssessed with rock'n roll. He was the architect of rock'n roll and was admired by the world. And there was no one like him or ever will. But he was a man of God which was what I admired the most about him was his love for Jesus. He later gave his life to the Lord and served Him through out from that time 'till He died. That was the greatest decision he said he's ever made, was that he found Jesus. I still remember him always quoting Mark 8:36 in most of his interviews "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?". He has surely lived his life to the fullest and became a legend and surely a man that will always live on. God bless his soul and rest in peace to him always. Was such a great soul!!!

I would like to share my story about LR : I saw him on cape cod when he was 62, when his last song played I got up and went over to his dressing room outside the tent and saw him coming down the ramp to his dressing room a man had a cape draped over him and he was wiped sweat pouring down. He was my idol the greatest entertainer I ever heard or seen, Just a wonderful human being !!!!!!!
I got to see him once , at a festival in Iowa ,1970. The Everly Bros + Jerry Lee Lewis and some others. Also he has a part in a movie " MYSTERY , ALASKA". Great movie. .... Thanks for your music.
