I remember Little Richard having a rebirth of sorts in his career around the early 90's. He guested on Jon Bon Jovi's debut solo album, he appeared in videos from Cinderella and Ratt, he was on prime-time game shows, etc. It seemed like everybody who was somebody in the early 90's wanted to work with him in some capacity. It's a testament to what a legendary, talented, and engaging performer he was and how his music continues to resonate with people. Thank you Little Richard for helping put rock and roll on the map. We will always be grateful to you for that. God rest your soul.

Little Richard was a force. Just watch his fingers on the piano, his energy, and how comfortable he always is in his delivery. He was a very talented and funny dude who knew how to entertain and keep his audiences cheering and hollering, but he was so much more than that. At this point Little Richard was 58 years old but still, by his own testimony, an infant in his spiritual journey.
Many years later (long after he took off the makeup and the big hair and stopped performing in concerts), I listened to him speak about how his relationship with God completely changed his worldview and his whole life. And he really left an impression on me. I love that he loved God, and how humble and honest he showed himself to be after he was done with the Hollywood stuff and began to let his real personality shine. A very intelligent, generous, and beautiful human being.

There's never going to be another Little Richard. One of a kind, no dispute. My parents filled the house with music of most genres when I was kid, and he was in that mix. I still say he's the true king of rock n' roll, not Elvis. People can argue that, and that's okay. All that he said in this is true, and it's one of the appeals of rock music itself - of course which extends into my favourite form of music, heavy Metal.
Little Richard spoke about telling the truth no matter how unpleasant it is, and more importantly, be passionate while being yourself. To stand up, defy, and express yourself with everything you've got. That's rock n' roll and beyond, and while he has left us in mortal form, his music will live on forever. You can't help but be inspired and admire the fire and spirit the man had. He didn't hold back, and that's the beauty.

I hated it so bad and couldn't understand why his show was cancelled. It was the best talk show ever!!! That said, one of the reasons was having people like Little Richard on the show! Where so many kept interrupting Little Richard, he helped him express what was on his mind, and added so much to the interview! One of my favorites!!!

I am absolutely heartbroken on the passing of the true King of Rock 'N Roll, the one and only, Little Richard. A huge influence on me but also an unsung civil rights giant as during a time of great division in America and extreme racism towards the African American Black Community, Little Richard pioneered the way for a black man in elevating the Blues and Rock into the mainstream of White America but still loved performing to integrated crowds. His raw stage presence and energy, not to mention his vocal range, power and musicianship dwarved the likes of Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis. They all performed each others songs, as most Rock 'N Rollers did, but Little Richard stood head and shoulders above them all. May you Rest in Peace you absolute legend!

God was dealing with this man then! It's a process! Hilarious he was! I see Prince, Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, etc. The fashion and the styles! The Musical Genius and the Artistry! The True Pioneer! Mr. Richard said Pat Boone stole so much of his music! He would have to switch up many times! One thing most will agree! He wasn't Boring! You got your money's worth! Start to Finish! Singers had pure talent back then! Boy! Some you would hate to be Next! Not like today. They cry their way to the top! Along with sad stories! These Black Men and Women back then went through Pure Hell!! You wouldn't know it. But, they performed anyway! They had themselves and Families to take care of! Had their Dignity and livelihood stripped from them at times!
But somebody prayed for them! Whether Parents or Grandparents. Saints and Friends! Etc. This Pandemic is no accident! Around the Globe there have been a lot of Injustices! Going on. I believe if it's not your time to go! You definitely will still be here! I pray for Families who have lost love ones! I would never be insensitive to that! The Bible talks about. There's a Appointed time for ALL of us to leave here! We just don't know When, Where, and How? The best investment any of us could make! Blow the dust off Our Bibles! And dig into the precious Word of God! To get those Nuggets of the Wisdom of God! Where the True Treasures to Life! Are there for the Taken! Mr. Richard knew a lot about God! He knew like the Rest of us! He wasn't going to stay out there long! Because God was in his Ear and eventually in his Heart! Our Mothers always would always call us! By our first name! When it was time to come home! Richard! Richard! Hey baby! It's time to come in. Come on Home baby! That voice of assurance. She always with a Smile! Would kiss your face! Hug you forever tight! How you doing baby? Mama loves you!! God was no different to Mr. Richard! And eventually to all of us! I hear him calling! Excuse me! Love is calling!

In his final interview, it was very deep, but he was focus on preach, not teach the truth. Even if he was very deep as a religious person, he impacted more lives as a musician because he was himself, and the musicians after him focus on being themselves too.
