A voice of sanity in a world of chaos
It is always good to store extra supplies, this has been a routine I had been doing for the past 18 years. I've been criticized for it.
About 21 years ago, I was buying up surplus ammo, and I told my friend that you better stockpile this stuff. They said, it will always be available. I told them, it will not be available and the price will go up. This surplus ammo was cheap, it was about 3 cents to 10 cents a round. The same ammo costs $1 to $3 a round today.
I always store extra supplies that have a long shelf life or are not perishable. In 2021, we had that toilet paper shortage, and all the people that said this stuff will always be in the stores and I was a fool for doing this. I gave them some of this toilet paper I had in surplus.
I mostly store extra stuff as a hedge against inflation, because every single year the price of goods go up. The price of things you paid for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 years ago was much less than the prices you pay.
If preparing was something you did as a routine then you will be alright. If you have faith, it will give you a peace of mind. If you have both, you will be alright.

I'll admit that I don't know the full story with the dock strikes, but I will say if someone is withholding an agreed amount as payment then that person/company should be held accountable. If the workers are just being primadonnas, fire them and hire other people.
We really can't be dealing with this either way. We got enough craziness going on.
It's all about new contract negotiations. They want a crap load more money and a guarantee that automation won't replace them.
Everyone is out for their own (selves, family). Tough world these days.

They favor my sister because she follows the family bull shit agenda. My parents are narcissists. My dads the narc, my mom enables and my sister is the golden child. So she gets what ever the fuck she wants with out lifting a God Damn finger. Just because she does stuff and gets sucked in.

but Piper, the dock workers think their the only ones that work hard, what about us that have been in construction, building homes in the hot sun, painting,( up and down the ladder a hundred times a day) in the hot sun, to me they are entitled immature babies, that already make a lot of money( and very stable at that) I have very little sympathy for them, let them reap what they so , and grow up.
I doubt they think they're the only ones working hard. But they have a right to advocate for themselves just like you do. If society would come to a halt without dock workers, then they are super important and deserve to be treated better. If you're speaking badly of them for actually pushing back, simply because you also work hard and DON'T push back, then you are doing "crabs in a bucket" b.s. where you are one of the crabs pulling down the ones trying to climb up. Don't criticize *essential* workers for fighting to get better treatment. The people in power have made this type of situation happen, and now workers are needing to make some hard decisions to fight back against it.

He actually is currently trying to contact the company and have them send him a 55 gallon 🛢 drum of Vaseline. If anyone is running a campaign on fear it would be Trump every time he talks he tells us we should be afraid.I think the port strike will come to an end within two weeks but these guys deserve every penny they can get and I do think truck drivers need a union. Top pay for these Dock Workers is $39 now some have been able to make up to $160,000 a year while some only make around 25 to $30,000 a year and some have made 450.000 year but thats with mass overtime

Anyone can have worry about how the world is, but if you are a believer, what do you have to worry about? If you're secured in going to heaven, what is the problem? If Jesus died one of the worst ways possible, what do believers have to worry about when most people die ordinary ways?
Isn't suffering a character building function of reality that God put in place? People might want to dig a little deeper into whether their belief is really as strong as they think. Believers don't have anything to worry about that isn't fabricated by their own mind.
If God put you on this journey to live life, is the journey not your home? The whole experience is your home, because it all becomes you. It's all intended for you to go through, so that it *will* become you through experience. It should be embraced as equally important as going to heaven.

@@RedLegPiper me too my brother; you go back every 80 years, there is a world shift- 80 years ago- WW2 ended- 80 years before that, civil war ended, 80 before that revolutionary war, 80 before that, English civil war, 80 years before that- French revolution…and so on…..2025 marks the 80 mark since 1945…..I have felt God telling me for the better part of this year to simply not worry about all the things that stress us out, don’t waste time doing that- all those things won’t matter very soon.

Honestly I think most computers are able to do that now even with not so great hardware. I always like to go with AMD ryzen 5/ intel core i5. 5 is a good middle ground to do a little of everything. But honestly if you got the extra cash going for a ryzen 7/intel 7 is definitely a worthy upgrade.

@@alexhlavac2827look at the which letters are designated to the cpu to figure out what exactly you are buying don’t just go out and buy an Intel i7 or ryzen 7 without looking first. Maybe might want to avoid Intel right now I heard their CPU’s are frying themselves recently.
Look at Linus tech tips videos about the letter designation for a cpu so you’ll know exactly what you’re buying.
