Nice release from TA. Not always need for a powerful setup to have fun with an RC. I'm pretty sure that 380 will burn if running 3s battery 🙂 the body looks amazing 👍
This truck kicks butt. FOR AN ALL AROUND VAN ITS SOOO KOOL. GREAT FOR MY BACKYARD OFF-ROADING. DIRT PATHS SMALL DIRT JUMPS . AWESOME LITTLE RUMBLE TRUCK
why friend? What do you think are advantages for the lunchbox? I think that the lunchbox has a more resistant gearbox because despite being made of plastic, many lunchboxes resist +21 mph (I do not think that the associated equipment, despite being 4x4, resists 21 mph (since those differential boxes are made of plastic, but ignore the quality) Regards
@@zoridor16 It has been proven for many, many years and then you have all the parts available for a ridiculous price. I add a magnificent body in ABS not lexan! There are a million tutorials to improve it at less cost, and then it does wheelies and that, that has no price on your joy! Yes, I prefer the lunch box.
Solid platform, I have the pubg uaz version, no complaints. The body imo is a little over priced 44$ for the clear and 49$ for the painted, other than that it's not bad at all my 6 year old typically drives it.
It looks so top heavy due to the body, kept thinking it would roll super easy. As you mentioned, nice to see some new items come to the hobby. I feel like we got slammed with crawlers for the past year or more.
For me, not worth the $220; I'd rather get an old school Lunch Box and a bearing set or spend an extra $20 for the Mad Van. This is a big swing and miss from AE. Too much brittle plastic (yeah, I know Tamiya) and that weird battery holder just looks sketchy for a basher.
Hi guys, the 380 is the biggest can you can fit with out heavy mods. Also the pinion shaft off the 380 is longer than most. I assumed the 380 would burn up on 3s and it did. I have a video of it smoking. But a good 2s runs great. My plan is to try the @holmeshobbies 380 trailmaster motor on a hw 1060 or 1080. That should be a great balance!
There’s quite a few vans out there now. The Tamiya Lunchbox van though was only 2wd with independent front suspension and a monocoque chassis. Different design.
@@rcdriver i was just jokin around but they do seem a little similar in execution. 1/12...van body...monster truck tires. It looks like a cool lil rig. Somebody should do aftermarket bodies for it.
It looks cool but a body doesnt make a good rc. The solid axles are not good it is too bouncy like a little Clod Buster. I think the Kyosho Mad Van is a better value and looks better

Little competition for the Gorgon?! That's a tough act to follow.

I think for the price I would have liked too have seen a 540 motor and metal gears, but it is cool and its great to see new rc stuff coming out
Honestly I prefer my Tamiya lunch box.

Yes, I prefer the lunch box.
AND MOST prefer a four-wheel drive to any lunch box RC...
I do not agree
@@Lance_Borislov you have the right as I have the right to say that I prefer my lunch box.

Nice run. I was shocked at how well it did. Super looking TA.
loved the ice driving! Cool little van and awesome colors
BIG !! 70's Purple in a bright Paint scheme , 4wd & priced like a Bigfoot . Whats not to like ?!
LOOK'S GOOD. VAN BODY'S ARE PRETTY RARE, SO I BUY ANY RC TRUCK WITH A VAN BODY ON IT. 👍
I think we’re up to 4-5 vans now. #vanlife 😀
It's a 18 turn motor
Probably says on the box 12 years or under
Can it fit and handle a 540? Say like a 21.5?
Would the tamiya yam harvest body fit on that?
One beautiful van
Great bash/video! Very informative! Hope u have a very merry Christmas!
Got the lmt mini soooo im good but cool truck reminds my of the ae toga ?
NOT A WANNA be JUST A KOOOOL NEW MONSTER VAN OF KOOL
A lunchbox from TA? I'm into it!
Cool video 😎 nice RC monster truck
At this point, I’m wondering why there aren’t metal gears for the cr12/mt12 platform.
That’s a good question

É lindo e também tem pouco peso e muita potência
Awesome breakdown and review 👍🏻
So amazing looking beauty 🤩 👍
Amazing 😊😊 (please try with brushless system) very cool body😊😮😮😮 (the stock gearbox support 20 mph??) The best detailed review❤❤!
That’s damn cool.👍💪🇺🇸
G’day Greg, can a 540 motor fit into this van? Very nice little van, I think it needs more power. Great video, thanks Greg. 🤓
380 looks like the only option on mine.
Maybe a small brushless motor 😊

Didnt Tamiya do this years ago? 🤔

One look at the price@#$&*, I said money GRAB! GORGON ALL THE WAY! Price and Value!
Haters?! …. Really ? 😮😮😝
Anything that goofy is worth the price, lol.
Look at Team Associated trying to be cool. Adorable.
I prefer my Lunchbox way more than this wanna be.
feels kinda basic, may not survive bashing
😂😂😂 how much? For a slow brushed boring thing, a 25 dólar option? Are they insane? What piece of junk
Looks slow and weak
The paint is ugly
Looks sweet man especially the frame and drivetrain setup. Sone cool builds possible 💯🥸
