The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, 1 John 3:8 KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Isaiah 9:6 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. It’s so hard to believe that Johnny played WW. He looks, sounds, and acts like a completely different person. Kudos to johnny Edit: I normally don’t do edits. But to the people coming at me in a rude tone saying “it’s called acting”, I was praising him for being a good actor. Calm down, please, and stop trying to be negative. I know it’s acting. There's always a difference between a movie that mostly has practical effects compared to a movie that CGI's everything they can, even the things that they shouldn't! I find that modern movies seem to be moving in the latter direction, even movies with multimillio-dollar budgets. Always refreshing to see a modern movie use practical effects like these!
The fact they built a whole set for the chocolate palace is insane. All that work for like a 1-2 minute scene... That's dedication I'll tell ya. Filmmakers at their craft. You might think it's stupid to invest so much time for something that wasn't in the film for that long, but you also have to think about retakes and potential set problems that could ruin a scene, so in the end...it was all necessary.
Can't believe this movie was filmed in 2004, it was very much ahead of its time. I was shocked to find out it wasn't very well received when it first came out.
It was done well, but it most certainly wasn’t ahead of it’s time. A lot of these filming techniques were being heavily employees in the 2000s. The Lord of The Rings and the Star Wars prequels come to mind. Both used a ton of motion capture and there were many practical effects, especially in TLOTR. If you want to see a film which was truly ahead of it’s time, watch The Fifth Element from 1997. They did not use motion capture at the time, but I compare all other CGI to that film. If you can’t do better than they did in 1997, why even try?
Really!?!? That’s surprising, we watched it RELIGIOUSLY in my house as kids bc we thought it was so cool o.O we even used it to put my little brother to sleep bc of the music

Wow this is amazing. I think people take for granted how important it is preserving footage of production because it’s so fascinating, and the fact that there’s this much of it from the movie is so cool. It looks like such a positive work environment too for the crew. Very awesome!
Yes, the last point is always important. I mean, if there had been any negative stuff, I'd doubt it would be released for public consumption, but one still gets the vibe from this b-roll that the cast and crew were in good spirits, and no one was harmed, despite all the various stunts.

God I was so obsessed with this movie when it first came out. I loved the special features on the DVD; you could really SEE how much effort they put into the whole production. A feast for the eyes, literally.
They did not have to go that hard on the dvd. One of the best and that's saying something because there were a lot of really well put together dvds around the early/mid 2000s.
@MischiefsHorizon no like, what's a puppet in the movie? I know there are animatronics of deep roy and all the squirrels are real so idk what they're talking about.
its like Johnny becomes possessed- how well hes able to portray these characters; the mannerisms, the voice acting. Everything about this performance was incredible and the directors did such a phenomenal job on this film.
This movie illustrates JD's talent as a character actor than almost better than any other film he's ever done. If you didn't know it was JD, you really couldn't tell. Just amazing transformation!!!
this whole setting is mind blowing, i didn't know they even made the waterfall, and the boat, even the robot, jeez they deserve an outstanding applause !!
I actually... Didn't expect most of the props to be genuine props, god, they should have done five golden tickets for five kids be at the set because that's as magical and a unique experience as going into the factory must have been.
1. So much more in this movie was practical effects than I even thought! 2. At 11:53 there's something really wholesome about Johnny clapping for this kid that did his own stunt.
Maybe it's because he looks like Captain Jack at least quite a bit. Tattoos, a beard, something like a rock star I don’t know 😅 I always knew Johnny was playing Willy Wonka, but I really don't see him! All I see is Wonka, no Johnny at all. It's so weird for me lol
MJ actually wanted to do the role of willy Wonka bc he wanted to get into acting. He said to Tim burton that he'll do the movie's entire soundtrack for free if he gets the role, but Tim said no. LOL. So the fact that Johnny Depp was inspired by MJ is quite hilarious and ironic.
Absolutely incredible footage. I wish we had more behind the scenes shots like this for more movies. Johnny was absolutely brilliant in this film and I always loved watching it as a kid. As a reminder, every day after filming these scenes, Johnny, Burton and others had to go to the set of Corpse Bride to record voice lines for that film. Insane work ethic here.
I couldn't adore Johnny any more. He is simply perfection on the movie screen. I've never had an infatuation with him as a teen idol or anything like that but every movie he played in just seemed to be flawless. He is so talented I wish I had just a tiny bit of his talent.

I am a big fan of Tim Burton's amazing work. Directing Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, Corpse Bride, Frankenweenie, etc. And producing movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas with Henry Selick and producing 9 with Shane Acker. Keep up the great work Tim, you're a legendary director.
For the longest I thought this was how Johnny Depp actually spoke. Needless to say I was floored when I saw him on some award show. Shows just how talented he is
LOL😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 TRUER WORDS HAVE NEVER BEEN SAID!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I HAVEN'T LAUGHED SO HARD IN A LONG TIME. TU, I NEEDED YOUR COMMENT MORE THAN I KNEW! SO GREAT!!!
They should've kept in Mike mocking Veruca, that would've been ICONIC. Plus, it's just hilarious, especially the look she gives him! 🤣 And I like that Mr. Teavee had some concern for Augustus --- they should have kept that in, too. 😕
Me too. It fit their characters in this version. Mike being a rude smartass who would make fun of the spoiled rich girl, and Mr. Teavee actually being a fairly decent guy (shame about his son).
ohh so they didn’t use it in the movie. i was so confused because i don’t remember that part so i thought it was a lady behind the camera telling her how to say it.
Acting itself is fun, but the actual job of film-acting can be surprisingly tedious and very draining - lots of time standing around between scenes in uncomfortable conditions.
I loved Willy Wonka as a child, and I still remember finding out that Johnny Depp was going to be playing him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I was so excited, and when it came out at the theater, I went and watched it that day by myself. That’s the only time I’ve gone by myself to a movie. I LOVED it so much and thought Johnny was brilliant in it.
I cannot believe the production value from what I have seen so far. (I have only watched 8 minutes from this moment writing). They truly do not make them like they use to. I think I'm going to watch it again for greater appreciation. Awesome line up!
I LOVEEEEE the raw footage. Its so much more real than a edited filtered enhanced "documentary or behind the scenes" which is really more like just another movie Lmao. I would 100% watch more hours of this than anything.
I wish more movies provided this kind of behind the scenes footage. It's lengthy, unedited, and a fascinating look into a day on the set.
All of the Lord of the rings and The Hobbit movies have production BTS scenes that are absolutely outstanding.
They usually do. It’s called B-Roll footage. Look up any move then put B-Roll footage and usually it’ll pop up.

God I was so obsessed with this movie when it first came out. I loved the special features on the DVD; you could really SEE how much effort they put into the whole production. A feast for the eyes, literally.
They did not have to go that hard on the dvd. One of the best and that's saying something because there were a lot of really well put together dvds around the early/mid 2000s.
props to the all squirrel trainers, and actress who let a bunch of squirrels climb all over her just for that scene. Now THAT'S some dedication
props to the squirrels, really good and well payed actors.
That was a doll
@@o.o20 What's a doll?
@MischiefsHorizon What's a puppet?
@MischiefsHorizon no like, what's a puppet in the movie? I know there are animatronics of deep roy and all the squirrels are real so idk what they're talking about.
clicked for johnny, stayed for the gorgeous sets.. my God the amount of work put into this and the attention to detail are insane!
24:31 Johnny messing with the camera man😂❤️
haha yeah that's so cute😂💞
😂😂😂
That's 100% something Willy Wonka would do
I didn’t know they actually built a factory
Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory/Charlie And The Chocolate Factory is one of those types of movies that need a lot of effort to make
I cannot imagine the amount of money and effort they had to put in making this I'm amazed
The budget was $150 million
This is the kind of stuff I love to watch because I know how much work goes into it and all the people behind the camera who are making this happen.
its like Johnny becomes possessed- how well hes able to portray these characters; the mannerisms, the voice acting. Everything about this performance was incredible and the directors did such a phenomenal job on this film.
It's called method acting
@@lako8368 yes it is 💯
@@lako8368 its called ACTING we can even leave the method out of it
@@lako8368 method acting would insinuate that he’d spent months as a chocolate factory owner
@@lako8368 lol no
12:33 It is interesting to see how the actors resemble their characters in personality even out of action
they probably try to stay in character in between takes
thats what i was thinking aswell@@johnlindsay646
This movie illustrates JD's talent as a character actor than almost better than any other film he's ever done. If you didn't know it was JD, you really couldn't tell. Just amazing transformation!!!
7:55 and 10:22 wooooow that's just mind blowing I thought they build all this using cgi or computer modeling they really did it in real life !!!!!
@@Inconito237 even it's fake or anything it's just amazing they build the whole stage scene that's absolutely good
This behind the scene is a true treasure very2 impressive
@@Inconito237 silly question but, do you know what the fake chocolate was made of?
Not forgetting the chocolate indian palace too
6:22 Thank you for this footage! I FINALLY GOT TO SEE WONKA’S PUPPETS BEHIND THE SCENES!
this was my favourite movie growing up, i watched it multiple times. still is one of my favourite movies ❤
this whole setting is mind blowing, i didn't know they even made the waterfall, and the boat, even the robot, jeez they deserve an outstanding applause !!
I love that all the Nut Shelling workers were all coreographed🤣🤣🤣
4:26
Real factories are very similar. Everything must move at the right pace for things to run smoothly.
It reminded me of "Silent Hill" the nurse scene they all choreograph their creepy movements too just like this truly awesome
that amount of extras had me shocked
@@JQQ9 , frr, i also didn't think they actually had a whole warehouse 😭
@@oDM0o also the nut workers on the back can be barely seen in the movie their effort got wasted smh
Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are each so unique. Tim is a great director, liked seeing him directing.
I find it funny how y’all can’t see Depp as an eccentric chocolatier but you can see him as a drunken cracked out weird-ass pirate 😂
Maybe it's because he looks like Captain Jack at least quite a bit. Tattoos, a beard, something like a rock star I don’t know 😅
I always knew Johnny was playing Willy Wonka, but I really don't see him! All I see is Wonka, no Johnny at all. It's so weird for me lol
This was my first Tim Burton movie and my first movie with Johnny Depp.
Ha ha I find it hard to believe this!
same
My first movie with Johnny was a nightmare on elm street
Mine too
The fact people thought Johnny was inspired my Michael Jackson in his portrayal of Wonka never ceases to crack me up when I see this movie
He also said on Ellen that this version of Wonka was his idea of what George Bush would be like if he were stoned lmao
His version of WW is canon to me.
@@uroosaabbas2354 where did you hear that?
@@karlaramsey6382 his source be like trust me bro lmao but it kinda makes sense
It’s fine to love an actor’s work, but the dude’s been in a ton of bad movies and been bad IN them. Best to keep it real. He’s human.
@@UncleDeadly1031 Thank god we have people like you to get online and comment on random people's comments. You have opened my eyes and taught me so much. Don't know how I got through these past 50 years without your fkn guidance. Wise one. Fkn dip-sh!+
Honestly, I really love Tim Burton's work, it's always so magical yet mysterious at the same time 🖤
I am a big fan of Tim Burton's amazing work.
@@zoeysavino709 You said it perfectly! 😊 ❤
Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice definitely crafted me as a person. XD
23:01 THIS IS SO CUTE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
For the longest I thought this was how Johnny Depp actually spoke. Needless to say I was floored when I saw him on some award show. Shows just how talented he is
The work that went in to this is AMAZING..
My favorite movie of all time. I watch this once a year especially during Christmas season.
I didn’t know they used real animatronics for the welcome song scene. I think some of them were actually saved whilst some were flammable.
Even the squirrels were better actors than AH, Amazing!

@@abdullahsaid8561 you mean The Chocolate Factory? lol
This is so COOL. Being an actor/actress and working on sets like these must me insanely cool
When you're watching a movie you don't even think about how much work they put just in one scene.

The fact that like 90% of this movie was practical effects is incredible
12:24 Mike and wonka getting along out of character is so cute I swear💀😭
I always thought it would be fun to be in movies, but this clip has changed my mind.
Acting itself is fun, but the actual job of film-acting can be surprisingly tedious and very draining - lots of time standing around between scenes in uncomfortable conditions.
At 17:02 it is bizarre hearing Johnny's Depps real voice when he is dressed up as Wonka lol
12:33 was so cute seeing all the kids having fun
24:30 nice to see a playful moment of Johnny walking out of frame and quickly popping the gobstopper in the cameraman’s ear.
the fact that the squirrels were real and actually trained is absolutly stunning.
Back in the days when CGI wasn't widely used. This is amazing to see! It deserves the fame and success!!
CGI was widely used in 2004. Tim Burton just prefers practical effects.
I LOVED it so much and thought Johnny was brilliant in it.
loved the actor for Mike TV just being a kid while waiting around for something to happen at 12:25, too funny 😂
6:23 oh god they must have had to endure that song so many times on set
17:37 God this looks like the best set ever bro ....
It’s actually insane how most of the sets were practical.
Johnny is so good at this, we want more of him in these type of movies!! 😭❤️❤️

I cannot believe the production value from what I have seen so far. (I have only watched 8 minutes from this moment writing). They truly do not make them like they use to. I think I'm going to watch it again for greater appreciation. Awesome line up!
i love this movie, johnny's commitment to the characters he plays never ceases to amaze me
This movie is perfect, it made my childhood and I still love watching it today.
Having worked on any set of this film was sure to be unforgettable for those who had the honor of participating.

That all axis gimbal rig was amazing
I LOVEEEEE the raw footage. Its so much more real than a edited filtered enhanced "documentary or behind the scenes" which is really more like just another movie Lmao. I would 100% watch more hours of this than anything.
