The lady representatives were initially posted as casual workers with daily wage and without any security of job and disparity in wages with their male colleagues .As reps we can proudly say it is because of the intervention and struggles of kerala medical & sales representatives association (kmsra ) the companies were forced to enroll them as regular workers, ensure job security and to abolish disparity and to provide equal pay and other facilities which male reps are getting.

I liked your and Dr.Vivek Vincent's interview in Med Ventures highlighting the struggles faced by us in the field. Kudos to the doctor...really commendable,so soft spoken, my salute to him....Youve highlighted the issues faced by you'll during Covid days..really disheartening my colleagues also told me. When you are telling of your experience of 20 years you should have also highlighted the experience of we seniors who have completed 31,38,and nearly 39 years in this medical field some of them still CONTINUING..required na?though emphasis was given for the struggle in the field and during Covid days..

Excellent ! Twenty years in this field is a big achievement . As you mentioned, it's a big task to meet the doctor, explain in detail, manage their egos, travel every day and manage home. I know a lot of people who are in this field and I can relate to what you are saying . Many congratulations to you on completing 20 years in this field. As you rightly said, one has to love her job to give 100% commitment. You are a role model and inspiration to many aspiring young girls to choose this field as their career option . Excellent initiative, Dr Vivek. Very informative and interesting interview, showing both sides of the coin. I worked in Gufic / Rexcel for 22 years. We were the first company to bring in "Lady Communicators ", way back in 1987. I trained 8 lady reps initially. Most of them succeeded, still working as reps, few left, could not catch up or stopped after wedding etc... First motivation given was developing confidence in them, made them feel they are no way inferior to men. This could help them to improve them to learn more and perform better than expecation. Her talk is very motivating. Great initiative.

Proud to a part of medical rep team I have 30 yrs experience in this profession covid time actually it hurted the medical rep profession a lot the security of the hospital treat us as if we are some sort of criminals but now since covid has passed a lot of restrictions have been relaxed

More than Adipoli, you have touched all the aspects of the way in which a MR should Function.
For any Sales Person, the Utmost important thing is to have the Product Knowledge, Know the Product, without which it will be very difficult to Complete the Selling. This applies to Service Industry as well.
You have mastered both the Product and Service sector.
Anyways, to comment on the whole Interaction with Dr. Vivek, it will take pages to write.
One Request to you, is If you can Pen down whole of your experiences and sum up in a Book, or write a Book,
may be titled - How to be a Successful Medical Representative, it will be a very big boost to your MR Community and help as well.
and will a mark in your Life.
