Just found your channel on Korean skin care. I’m 69 and suffer from eczema flare ups. I have dry, sensitive skin. I used Origin products for most of my adult life until I retired in 2014. Since then we moved from my hometown along the Southern Border to my husband’s hometown near the Gulf of Mexico. It’s in this new environment that my eczema flared up like never before; to the point of giving up the Origin line and going to all kinds of “natural ingredient” products. So it’s been trial and error to find a skin care line that addresses dry, sensitive and mature skin. I will look into using Korean products because it looks promising. After having nice presentable skin my skin now have a lot of sun damage, uneven skin tone and dark spots. Yes, I’ve gone to 5 dermatologists to address these issues but nothing seemed to work. So, we eventually moved from Texas to Arkansas and my skin seems to be in “eczema” remission for now. It looks like Korean skin care is the way to go for now. I’ll be trying a few of your recommendations on this video and hope it all works on my skin. Thank you for sharing all your product information . Now I’m at a stage of repairing my skin and addressing issues with mature skin.

I would say sun protection is why Asian women have beautiful skin….not because of how they cleanse. Absolutely nothing you do matters if you do not protect your skin from the suns rays. I have actually seen Japanese women AND men at the beach with full face masks…..😮

I dipped my toe into J & K beauty around 4 weeks ago. I was excited to find some COSRX products at TJ Maxx and Marshall's as well as some other K -beauty brands. I *LOVE* the COSRX Hydrium Toner and Snail Mucin. I have also been using the Mitomo Perfect Galactomyces Toner. I'm 55 and have always been oily, still am in the T-zone. My skin can't handle occlusive moisturizers but it *LOVES* hydrating toners. I'm already seeing improvement in that "orange-peel" texture around my chin. At this point, there's no turning back on J & K skin care for me.
Love your channel. At 70 I am noticing more lines and working hard to keep them away. I love K skincare. Been using it for about a year.

It’s funny that I used Korean skincare that we have here at Sephora and Ulta for years. I found YesStyle and have transformed my skin in two years. I am 52. People complement me all the time now on my skin. Also people that haven’t seen me in years say my skin “is more glowy” then ever.

Although I have been double cleansing for years I think due to Ballroom Dancing with all the heavy makeup to remove, I have learned so much from you!! Asian women also have a thicker dermis that holds more collagen so we can never have skin like theirs, but they do take care of their skin well.
Yesstyle takes a while on the delivery whereas the products on Amazon are 100% authentic and it comes very quickly of course.

You’ve got me hooked on Korean skincare from your mature AM/PM skincare regimen video, but I wanted to ask if your regimen changed because I took notes from that video and follow it religiously, but noticed in this video you mentioned the snail mucin is put on AFTER vitamin C and AFTER retin-a, but I was under the impression it went on after cleansing while face it still damp.
I have been using some Korean skin care for awhile now and really like it, but found that it was hard to find. Thank you for the app info. I downloaded it and made a purchase. Even though I purchased products that said available, the site said they wouldn't be shipped out until the middle of January. Maybe because I opted for free shipping 🤔
Hearing your description of the SK essence reminded me of The Vintner’s Daughter. It literally made my skin glow and firmed up. I LOVE it but the price point is just unreal. I love great skincare but it’s hard to justify that price. Would love your thoughts on it.

I’ve been using the snail mucin and other Korean and my wrinkles feel so much smoother, my nose used to have large pores, and now is smooth, and my lip wrinkles are decreasing. I’m double washing every night and I’m loving how soft and ‘juicy’ my face feels. I’m 65 and have been sick, so I have a long way to go?
Does anyone know of an alternative to the SK II (with fermented yeast?) Sounds amazing but the price is very high. The travel set is a nice way to try it though. Thanks as always!
Yes!!! On yesstyle they have the numbuzin no. 3 super glowing essence toner. I just received it and am really liking it so far. Also cosrx has the galactomyces 95 essence. Both are under $20. I am really loving Korean/Japanese skin care brands.

@@maturemakeupmasterclass Is that one good even if I have very dry skin? It’s like sandpaper - even though I use two essences, vitamin C, matrixyl, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide? Afterward I use eye cream, moisturizer, and SPF. I also exfoliate (Drunk Elephant Babyfacial) once per week. I’m just starting to incorporate retinol. I’m 51. And yes, I drink at least 55 oz of water per day.

In your opinion, do you recommend the La Roche-Posay Anthelios AOX Daily Antioxidant Serum with Sunscreen SPF 50 as a stand-alone morning product? Asking because I use it now after cleanse and don’t worry about other products since this one claims to include anti-aging inside (vit c etc). Perhaps I should be using anti aging products separately, then regular sunscreen afterwards? Was trying to streamline process with this serum, but wondering what you think as far as efficacy etc. Thanks as always! You are my fav!

Hi, I love watching your videos. I can't believe how much I have learned from you. I just bought a SKII kit from Macy's. I got a 100$ gift card and decided to use on skin care. I was doing really well with Seint and then I started have a lot of red in my face. Like bright red and hot. I am a little scared I am allergic. I took a break from it and then will try again. I have a allergy to bees and bee products and there is a quite a bit of bees wax in the the products. If this is the case can you recommend a next best make up for me? You did my skin match.
Oh, this was a lot of fun! You are promoting some of my favorite products. Heimish was my first and and perennial favorite skin balm, and just recently I bought the beauty of Joseon from yesstyle, love it, too! You’ve actually taught me how to use yesstyle-who I had just unsubscribed from in frustration. I made an order on November 1 after giving up on Stylevana (ordered on September 8 and it hasn’t even shipped by November 1), and I didn’t receive my order until December 14, and that was only because I hounded them daily saying that I had Christmas presents in there. Apparently there was one sheet mask out of $120 order that was holding the whole thing up. I guess I don’t understand the backorder function, ha ha.
Before I forget, Penny Smith, who I follow and am part of her community, mentioned your channel and that is why I’m here. So glad she included someone who focuses on mature skin, because at 60 I cannot follow these teenage or 20-something influencers! 🤣

Michele - Love your Mature Class - I used Kombucha essence by FRESH and their gel cleanser. I use COZRX mucin. I am early 60’s and have fairly taken taken. Since I have used the products you suggested, I am always getting compliments on my skin. I do need help in the eyeshadow and foundation areas.
I do notice that lighter foundation does tend to make me look old. I’m Hispanic and am having problems in that department. Any suggestions?

It is beautiful! Very similar and I suspect the results are much the same. If you tried these side by side I doubt you could ever tell the difference 😊

What is the fragrance of the Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm? I'm looking for a great fragrance to enhance the experience. I like Heimish but it smells like peppermint to me, which is OK, but not my preference.
