    I have the exact same fixture. Never thought to try and pull the fixture down. I was too scared I'd break something. Thank you for this video!

    How do you close it back up? Mine won’t push up all the way leaving a gap.

      If you haven’t fixed it yet, check to see if both of the pins on both side are properly on the track.
      If you have a Silverdome, make sure that it locks or snap in properly, that could create a gap as well.
      If you’re talking about installing the recess LED all in one, make sure that, when you screw on the connector, the cables are not shifting on the side. The plastic connectors that connect your lightbulb connection and the LED may be out of place and not letting you push it in all the way if that’s the case you would only see a gap off a quarter inch.
