08:52 Go to carrier for US to Canada loads, Atlanta, Georgia

You don't need to wait for RFPs, you should reach out periodically to keep that line of communication open. Now this doesn't apply to all customers as they're all different and we understand how they react to certain things but there are definitely ones you should be constantly in communication with. Build that connection so you slowly sell your way in and move someone else out but that only happens if you can talk a good game and give them a reason to take something away from someone else and give it to you. If you're just waiting on RFPs and sending them back then the only thing that matters is who has the lowest rate. Not the type of freight I want
Ronen, you can get a temporary plates in 1 day, stick it to the windshield, put a copy in the binder till your metal plates arrives
for us most of our clients of new carriers we get them the lowest possible insurance to keep the MC up, and work them as owner operator under our big carriers dedicated lanes for 3 months cause as you said its crazy and too much hustle for a new carrier to get loads unless they will stick with mostly C.H Robinson and TQL loads as these are mainly the brokers that accept new carriers, Coyote will accept carriers with 30 days old MC and most of the rest like JBHunt Convoy Molo etc will require at least 90 days old MC, but as I said its too much hustle so best option is to start up the MC pay minimum insurance required and work as owner operator.
So you realize that the market is flooded but it still makes sense to keep adding trucks..curious on the thought process
Best of luck to you guys. If it means anything at all, I have total faith in ya’s. Good luck 👍🍀
for factoring companies and 3rd party providers they get the new carriers contact info from FMCSA Safer Filing, as FMCSA announce on daily bases in FMCSA Register Selection the FMCSA Licensing and Insurance Register carrier lists which is the new carriers granted their DOT number, lol so its all because the FMCSA but tbf once you finish requesting your new DOT & MC, FMCSA do warn you with a big letters and a full page about the sales calls that you will start receiving from privet companies forcing the services under the claim you must comply to FMCSR and that you actually dont need to register with any of these services.
Ronen, you can issue Temp cap card almost the same day of submitting the truck info in the IRP system it will be valid and can run the truck for 30 days until you receive the annual cap cards and plates !
Will insurance company work with Temp tags? I have heard no.
Yeah insurance works with temp registration that's how most owner operator do it until the plates comes in it allows you to operate 30-90 days.
@@williamrobinson6680 yes they do, and just to let you know most of the carriers when they start the insurance fir liability and cargo they just apply "any" good CDL and good Truck title info just to get the MC running with lowest cost possible, and once they get the actual truck bought they amend the info which will be reflected on the insurance premium, and insurance will accept the temp cap card as the truck can run now in the street as per FMCSR until it receive the annual cap card and the plates.
@@Khmtravelvlog Yes but...not commercial. I've been rejected by two carriers for temporary plate, until I can get my metal-hard plate. Immediate rejection upon uploading proof photos submissions.
@@Albalgawi It is what it is. I have been told twice (2 companies), no paper plate. Insurance company won't insure.
Of course, not all carriers. I currently run with one Carrier approved, and another says it doesn't matter either. Again, 2 rejections, until a hard plate is in place.
Atlanta is a Hub y’all will probably grow fast once brokers catch on and become the next big company down there Welcome to the US Can’t wait to see the Growth 🫡🍻🚛🚛✈️✈️💨
I'm happy driving with my current employer he told me he didn't care about making a profit if he did it would be reinvested back into the company and he was only using the trucks for the main company transporting his goods 73 cpm is what I take home trying to share the love because alot of drivers don't see what I get on top of that company's in general have to many way to make themselves look like their paying for your work I like watching et hopefully you continue with the videos
Hold on, you decided to actually open in Atlanta? Not Gwinnett? Not Jonesboro, not McDonough, not Jackson, not Conyers, but in ATLANTA itself???
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
yup worst possible place.
@@devoywilliams3956 There could be a positive, if inside the perimeter, his trucks wouldn’t have to use I-285. But the traffic has to be horrible.
Most of his customers are there
@@mosesgideon1115 Maybe, but when someone says they are in Atlanta, that can mean anywhere from Covington to Lithia Springs or Braselton to Griffin. Few are actually in Atlanta. The Braves are in Cobb County, and the Atlanta Motor Speedway is in Hampton. Yet, everyone just says Atlanta.

My company in ga just opened 11 new contracts with R& L and cardinal pukling medical loads
In my opinion, the DOT regulates truck drivers a lot, but they do nothing against brokers who keep up to 60% of the value of loads and many of these brokers do not physically live in the USA. Truck drivers have to pay for everything, often risking their lives driving in unfavorable conditions ( snow time ), and brokers, who are sitting on their asses in a chair, at home keep up to 60 percent of the value of the loads. The government or the federal senate should change the law and prohibit brokers who don't live in the US from working in other countries because they only think about money and not that it's good for everyone.

Alot of companies in Georgia run Indiana plates Tennessee, or maine because they are easier to get. Some companies grow bigger because they go into the stock market and gain money to grow through investors.
I use Indiana
I'll post this video in r/freight brokers. Great video
yea for DAT posted rates its not real even the live suggested rates for high priced subscriptions for specific origin and destination are not correct at all and way higher than actual, but also keep in mind as you said you are running PO and the national average rate are for DryV not PO so that will differ for sure
My dream is to work for ET transport one day in Atlanta god bless this guy soul just by the way he speak mad respect 🫡
Hi Ronen. One more list: You wanretain all the emergency roadside and tow services in the 48 states, and if they are good or ripoff. No driver should cruise the road without your number if they break down in a certain zip code. Can i call Atlanta for cargo matters?
You Sir are a great Man !!
That is based from state to state. There is a manual to prevent the stress when switching from country to country and state to state. Let me know if you need help.
Which insurance company did you select? There is a video?
When are you going to open a yard in Windsor?
i get blown up bout dispatching services its terrible
I hate to say this but Atlanta is a giant mistake. If you needed a Georgia hub....Chattanooga is best or Nashville. The taxes will kill you there and the drivers are crazy.
Great discouragement. AAA++++
Where is link for insurance quotes?
What state did you try to plate that and I can get a plate the same day in North Carolina. In the United States give you 30-day registration you just put in the window until your plate comes
Logistics insurers normally do not work with temp tags. He's right, you must wait.
@@williamrobinson6680 any company that I've ever leased onto has always sent me a temporary registration so who is insuring them
do you pay w-2 or 1099 ?
Good luck with the first accident
Fuel surge Charge is added or not?
Do you guys have owner ops?
I really enjoy your videos man. I learn from you so thank you. But I gotta say that damn POP is freaking ANNOYING! Pop Pop Pop Pop.
That's it! In the midst of all the naysayers, buy the dip!
I get plates on a truck in a few hours lol. Not sure what you are doing? Also 3k for a truck? you have hundreds of trucks it should be 900 or so a truck.
Get plates from Illinois, GA is the worst state to plate
We survive lol . Sone comoany onky work with 1 year authority
Ronen Jonji get me in Usa 👋
RFPs? Tell us more!
So you couldn't just transfer ET transport to the US?
Are you hiring US company drivers in georgia
Why are u paying 3K per month as if you're a new cdl/company. I learned how to drive in Jan and started my biz in Aug. I pay 1600 with progressive
Trucking is a BIG BABYSITTING JOB. 😂
What is the Atlanta address?
Do you have a need for owner operator
I live in ga
that's way too high truck insurance my truck insurance is very low it's all in my name my truck is paid off have a 2006 Freightliner have the insurance on my truck only that includes physical damage at $1,000,000 it cost me $256 a month plus extra physical damage insurance through my company I have truck on with $7.45 a week I'm paying out that is taken out of my pay each week I also have my own tag to my truck in my name in the state I live in that's Alabama
How are you making it running freight out of Atlanta it was cheap 15 years ago?
Let me get a job 3 years experience
💋💋🙏🏿
Why didn't your transportation consultant and your lawyers get into action when you were sitting for a month and a half? Why is.everything on your shoulders?
65 cents ?! That is low
Build a wall to keep roaches out
Should have just got new truck in America easy peasy and now just hire Mexican cdl drivers like these big companies are doing and your a millionaire 😂 😂
how are u alowed to be canadian and run a company in tha us. i like you and all ronan but this i cant surport. u need to stay up im canada. this is tha problem with pur industry
Awww, afraid of competition? Lol
@@jeffreycairns767 its not competition. its a foreign business taking advantage of tax breaks and american labor and american freight.
@412hwc I doubt very much there's any tax breaks, and how is it taking advantage of anything America when they pay for the terminal, the plates, MC, insurance, drivers, etc., which are all American? America profits far more then Canada does with this. I've met a few drivers that were American but had duel citizenship and ran freight within Canada for an American company. Also, CFI is a huge company and guess what, their owned by TFI (Trans Force International) with is based out of Montreal, Quebec. FedEx, UPS and Amazon are all American companies that operate in Canada, as well as Wal-Mart. It works both ways.
@@jeffreycairns767 i mean, i dont think its right. regardless. our rates are trash
@@412hwcAll companies do that.
Why are you here taking jobs from Americans. Taking loads from Americans. This is the problem of the U.S. trucking industry. More foreigners than natives in the business.
lol i jus made tha same comment. i do like ronan tho but man come on!! he needs to stay up canada
You do realize he has to hire Americans to run in the USA. He can’t put Canadians in the seat just like that. He’s hiring from the same pool of people every other American company is. Holy lack of understanding. 🤣
@@ryangrady5977 i meam but he is still a canadian company reaping tha benifit of americanan labor holy fucc lacc of understanding🤡 and also canadians come down here and run our highways and drop a canadian load off but than take an american load. if they want sumn from canada in america. drop it off at tha border n have an american get it and haul it rest of way. and vice versa
Dolt
Hater !!!
i look at your videos often, and i am thinking about getting into the trucking business, can i have an email address for you, i would like to ask some question and also share my plan with to starting so i could get some advice on my way forward.
My gawd its hard to book with new MC , to book a load and if we do get a load and the broker is willing to work then the rate or dollar per mile is bad very bad 🫤
