Honestly, you making healthy cinnamon rolls is the best of all worlds that this universe needs right now - also CAN'T WAIT to see you crush it in the marathon!!
I make cinnamon buns for breakfast on Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you want to make them a little bit healthier, you can use wholemeal cake flour and, instead of oil in the filling, use date paste. It adds a delicious caramel flavour and comes out sticky. It’s just perfect with the cinnamon and vanilla + a pinch of salt and raisins. Plus, you don’t have to add sugar. You can also save a little to coat the bottom of the pan for a little extra caramel. 😋 But I will def try the tofu in the dough.
These look great, and are so much more nutritious than the trad kind. Regarding denseness, bread flour likes moisture and physical manipulation to properly develop. I tend to do less yeast, and a long no-knead rise, like 10-16 hours, for perfect dough without fuss. But yours seems to have worked out, regardless. Thanks for posting!
Not me trying to hold back from replying to a bunch of other comments like.. “you must be new here” 😂 props on all the newbies and these cinnamon rolls look AMAZING 😍
Wow!Those Cinnamon Rolls look similar to the ones we had served in the elementary school cafeteria back in s.e. Utah! So good, covered in nothing but sugar and cinnamon and so fluffy GOOD! I'm gonna make the time to make these and wouldn't be surprisedif these Cinnamon rolls are way better than the ones back in Utah. 😋👍
You lost weight because of YOU, not noom. Best thing I can say In this vid. We need to remember this ourselves sometimes. I know, I kind of been there ;)
also if you want to lower the calories even more, opt for a sugar free sugar substitute. i love truvia's brown sugar, it has minimal calories. that would take off about 100 calories per bun if you used sugar-free alternatives.
Have you tried making crepes from the cast off starch water from washing wheat. I just saw World of a Random Vegan make some, they look great but I'm sure you could improve them.
Love, love, love your recipes! Unfortunately, I have a partner with blood sugar issues. No sugar or processed flour. I'm going to experiment, any chance you can try alternate sugar options?
Is your vegan protein better than mine. Because mine is very grainy. It's supposed to taste like chocolate and does not. Got any advice. Nothing too expensive.
Why can't you just put a direct link to the recipe you feature in the video in the description? I get tired of searching your web site to find just the right combo of "whatever the hell", to find it through your link.
because I am a one person show that is already working around 50 hours a week just to get done what I get done. The website gets updated last as a nice gesture considering I am a youtuber and video maker and I never intended to be a website recipe maker. You click recipes and they are in they are uploaded.
Not completely true. I do think the dough could’ve used more water though. The rise may have been hindeeed by the diy proving box/toaster oven being too warm. Most people usually cap it around 85°F
I actually have both!! I use Ceylon when I make smoothies in the morning, but use regular store bought cinnamon for baking. I have read they both of health benefits but Ceylon is just a better quality more pure form of the healthy stuff. Im still new to the cinnamon train when it comes to health
Hey sauce stache I love your videos and I was wondering if you could boil a lobster mushroom and put it in a lobster mold like it was an actual lobster and also after that video can make plant base milk from different kinds of fruits and vegetables separately per one including cocoa beans and coffee for I was inspired by your plant base milk video I wondered if you can do all kinds of fruit milks per one by just water and the fruits and the same process for vegetables seeds other nuts and legumes and I also was inspired by your meat replacement videos that why I thought of a lobster mushroom which is boiled and put in a lobster mold like a real lobster
I love the inclusion of the protein powder and tofu! So many "high protein" bread recipes just go for VWG/wheat protein which is basically fancy carbs.
@@runningkago4793 It is 75% protein, however, not all proteins are created equally. VWG has a very poor amino acid profile so while it contains lots of "protein" it lacks key essential amino acids that your body, particularly lysine, can't make on it's own, you need to get it from diet. Without adding another protein source that contains Lysine (such as beans, soy or lentils) you're body can't use the protein in VWG for protein things (like building muscle, repairing organs). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein_digestibility_corrected_amino_acid_score if you want to read more.
my favorite part of your videos is when your wife tastes whatever weird health food you made, and she always seems to have this insincere praise for the food. always makes me laugh. like she tastes it and realizes it isnt that good, but then she try's to be enthusiastic and supportive and think of a reason it tastes edible. i think thats just how she is on camera and she actually likes most of the stuff, but its funny it seems like a cringe office scene
When your in Christ Jesus you are a new creature changing your diet is good but God is not seeking healthy sinner please consider giving your like to Christ if you have not already done so 🙏

Ahhhhh Merle thank you sooo much!!!
Honestly I really needed this cinnamon roll lately haha 😂
And thank you soooo much!!

Substitute 100 grams of active sourdough starter for the yeast for an even healthier fermented version
Mark and Monica, you two are just such a precious couple. Blessings to you both! 🩷👰🏽🤵🏽💞

I just realized you made breakfast for dinner! The best kind of dinner!
These look sensational! I am definitely making a version of these because these are honestly bakery-quality - the caramel top-bottom is just WOW *.*
Thank you so much Margarettt!!!! They were soo soo good!!!
Okay! It is now time for you to do a cookbook. You have so many great recipes. Collate them & put the book together. I would buy it in a heartbeat!
Never seen you so excited about something you are cooking. They look great and you two seem like you have a glow about you. Glad you are doing well.
Not me trying to hold back from replying to a bunch of other comments like.. “you must be new here” 😂 props on all the newbies and these cinnamon rolls look AMAZING 😍
Merle name drop!!! 4th wall broken!!!!
Merle is awesome!!!
You have to try Natalie Matthews recipe. I make them all the time. 18 grams of protein and they're so good.

Yummy looks delicious! 🤤
They were incredible!!!

Half marathon! You're a beast man!
Running the Boston Marathon in April!!! Can't wait!!!
I’m so upset that I can’t eat this this exact moment 😭 they look incredible!!
Love, love, love your recipes! Unfortunately, I have a partner with blood sugar issues. No sugar or processed flour. I'm going to experiment, any chance you can try alternate sugar options?
Beans have a very stabilizing impact on blood sugar. But there is a commenter sharing that they use date sirup and whole meal flour 👍
One of my favorites 🙂👍
Triceps coming in good man 💪
amazing!
Yum! 😊
I will be making this too! This look soooo good!
Mmmm, cinnamon rolls, sounds all good man.
Sweet!
ok they look pretty good.
Pecans in there would be amazing!
I’ve been trying to find the actual recipe on your site and can’t seem to find it!
I totally forgot that you lost a bunch of weight. I can’t wait for the Boston Marathon video.
Thanks for another healthier/delicious recipe
The end 🥲
hahah it was so good!!
A good vegan bun recipe I tried is at the It Doesn't Taste Like Chicken blog.
Is your vegan protein better than mine. Because mine is very grainy. It's supposed to taste like chocolate and does not. Got any advice. Nothing too expensive.
MY MAAAAAAN!!!😊
MY MAAAAAAAAN!!!
Carbs with more protein is healthier? I really doubt that.

You should put blueberries in em
Oh I never thought about that!!! I love blueberries!!
I think you would have had more rise if the yeast was activated with a warm soak prior. The dough never moisturizes the yeast as well as a true soak.
Not completely true. I do think the dough could’ve used more water though. The rise may have been hindeeed by the diy proving box/toaster oven being too warm. Most people usually cap it around 85°F
Are they made with one can of chickpeas? ;)
Whats up wit that dr suess bread yo lol 👌🙌
They health benefits are in CEYLON cinnamon. The typical cinnamon you can get in the store isn't ceylon.
I actually have both!! I use Ceylon when I make smoothies in the morning, but use regular store bought cinnamon for baking. I have read they both of health benefits but Ceylon is just a better quality more pure form of the healthy stuff.

Haha, calling cinnamon buns healthy. What's wrong... Oh wait, I'm not one of those ppl. Nevermind! Love your videos.
Saul Goodman
Ok let’s see 100 days eating healthy cinnamon roll for dinner
Hahaha it’s still a cinnamon roll… but I did eat these 5 days straight for my pre workout and it was pretty awesome
oh no not Noom 😩
High protein and white drizzle in the thumbnail. I think its my fault for thinking what I'm thinking 😂
Coconut oil is so good, sadly highly saturated haha.
Hello diabetic coma 97.7 grams of carbohydrates only 0.66 grams of dietary fiber so slightly over 97 grams carbohydrates total.
Love that anti-climactic ending. Only saw one "cheers" though, should have been at least two
I love the inclusion of the protein powder and tofu! So many "high protein" bread recipes just go for VWG/wheat protein which is basically fancy carbs.
Vital wheat gluten is not “fancy carbs” it’s 75% protein

I think that’s just how she gets on camera 😅
I baked the pumpkin chickpea pie and it was delicious.
Idk those look pretty good. Nothing some pea protien and gluten could ruin
The same person who criticized the carnivore diet
Noom sucks...
It absolutely doesn’t. It’s an incredible program if you follow it. Like anything with weight loss it’s up to you to follow it though.
When your in Christ Jesus you are a new creature changing your diet is good but God is not seeking healthy sinner please consider giving your like to Christ if you have not already done so 🙏
Unless you can confirm the cinnamon you use is not contaminated with lead, these rolls are a potential health hazard!
Apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, and peanut butter? Yuck. That doesn't scream cinnamon bun at all.
Hahaha yup, doesn’t sound great. But when it’s together it makes sense and honestly these are bananass good
