*I lost 120 pounds in 2018 on a Carnivore Diet, I maintained that in 2019. In 2020 I struggled with some weight gain and then lost it again in 2021. For the last few years I have been maintaining a healthy weight. In December 2022 I had skin removal surgery (tummy tuck). This channel just documents all of that journey and how our family lives normal lives and eats a meat based diet.

I LUV your comment about your daughter loving salad and “who is she?” I literally laughed out loud!
😂😂
I always enjoy your videos!
Your videos are so clear and informative! You are my favorite carnivore RUclipsr!
I agree Laura is my favorite too So down to earth, funny and relatable. A real people person!❤
I love this .. I always am encouraged when I see your posts..
She is indeed❤
His and Hers steak drawers 🙌 now that's the key to a healthy, successful marriage!!
I love that you let your children be children and allow them to have what they like.
For any of you that use LMNT or some other electrolyte powder, you might enjoy this. I put ice into my ninja blender and a little water and 1 packet of LMNT and blend it til it is like shaved ice. I blend mine til it's like cotton candy. If you want it a bit creamy, you can add a little whipping cream and it's a really fun way to make "ice cream" AND if you are fasting, then just don't add the cream. Water and 1 pack of LMNT and ice makes yummy ice cream for a treat during the fast. If you want to rant about LMNT, don't bother because I don't care. I love it and I use it and it helps me get through fasts. A big bowl of Carmel/Chocolate "ice cream" is a nice to help me get through fasting.
Love this! How much water to ice would you say you use?
Thank you for the tip
I love this! You are so real and not perfect- expired foods, an occasional Diet Coke, mice.. 😂Lots of meaty ideas and healthy family options in your fridge and Thrive Market box!
Ya so happy she didn’t show the thawing mouse in that one video 😱
The mice thing caught me off guard and I had a good chuckle.
Laura, how fun! I love to see what's in people's refrigerators. I love your little stash of Diet Coke. I like your honesty.
Hi Laura. My freezer/fridge looks a lot like yours. We buy 5 dozen eggs at a time. I typically hard boil about 15 at a time in my pressure cooker (takes 6 minutes) I fill my Tupperware egg server with deviled eggs for snacking. My husband likes sausage and eggs for breakfast so I get JD sausage roll from Costco, cook that up and keep in fridge ready for no mess breakfasts. I usually cook some ground beef once a week and season it for taco bowls and keep that handy. We bought a portion of a cow last spring from a local rancher, and that has worked well for us. Thanks for your daily inspiration. Happy New Year everyone!
Great ideas!
We have that same freezer in the house. Costco had it on sale recently. With delivery and set up in the house, it was only $50 more than the in store price. Totally worth it!!
I love that you are so real and relatable with this lifestyle (especially when having kids at home!). Thanks for this!
I'm so thankful for this insight. And, overall, for you youtubers who give me so much inspiration , so I have the feeling I have someone walking with me through this choice of nutrition I made.
Thank you! I've only been carnivore for 6 months and it's so nice to see what someone else has in their fridge. 😊 I still struggle from time to time w sugar but it's getting easier and easier. Your videos are wonderful!!
I just started and have intense sugar cravings! Excited for it to get easier lol
Wow Laura, beast mode has been working for you! You look fantastic! I’ve been keto for six years, originally lost 40 pounds, put 10 back on, so going to do the January carnivore thing and try to go way more strictly carnivore then I’ve ever gone in the past. and see what happens. I’ve been following you for many years and you have inspired me so much! and now going back and watching all your old content to get me prepped for a more intense carnivore journey. A big question and a big fear is that since I’m so religiously strictly keto, that going carnivore is not gonna make a big difference. Guess we’re gonna find out. And spoiler. I’m not gonna give up my morning coffee.😅😂😅😂
Coffee I will never give up.😂
@@wandastlouis639 How do you drink the coffee? Whipping cream, or black? I am getting ready to start and could not give up coffee!
@@sheilam283 black
It's nice to see I'm not the only one who has a "toxic" treat once in awhile. I enjoy a soda once in awhile. What I try to tell friends who are looking into going carnivore is to slowly go into it and don't go cold turkey...yes that was a pun, but slowly ease into it and not toss all your non carnivore foods all at once. Food withdrawals are a real thing.
Love your videos!
Happy New Year! I’m new to your channel and loving bingeing your content.
We have 3 adults in our household following a range of Carnivore to Dirty Keto diets in our household. I’m basically ‘the director/ring-leader’ and at times it’s easy, while other times not.
One thing I’ve started doing is sous viding straight from the freezer. It adds 1hr to the cooking time, but if I’m not available to start the process, one of the other two can. I use the base of my 22qt oven roaster as the water bath basin and it works perfectly.
Sous vide requires quickly SEARING the meat after. We use bacon drippings to get a tasty crust and it’s amazing.
I have yet to get my 7-drawer freezer… and truthfully, I’d rather have it than a piece of jewelry or a night out …🤔… Laura, you may have inadvertently gotten my husband off the hook for Valentine’s Day. 😆😊😂❣️
haha I agree! I'd MUCH rather have a meat freezer than some fancy purse or jewelry!
Love your videos because you live in the real world. Working, family, and running a household take time and I adjust my diet to fit what works for me. Quick meal ideas help a ton. When I'm working 14-hour night shifts it's hard to prepare a big meal. This nurse thanks you for sharing and helping us all.
Fun! Love these kind of videos. I raised my kids low sugar/carb in a similar manner. They are both in their late 20s and thin and fit and healthy. Happy New Year 🎉
That's my hope for them ❤️❤️
Great video! So helpful! I have a non-carnivore, carboholic hubby (almost 47 yrs now), and I’m more ketovore just to make it easier since I cook for both of us. I love that you keep it real and do-able. Happy New Year! 🤗
Would love to see the pantry and spices
Yes, me too!
Can you do a video on how you prepare meals for you and your family so that everyone is satisfied and also together at the table?
Loved this. A year into carnivore and it helps to see what’s working.
I love the stand up freezer. I wish I had room for one
Hi I enjoy your videos and find them very helpful and informative. I’ve lost 130 lbs on the carnivore diet and find it very healthy and I feel GREAT! That said , my advice would be to someone who wants to lose weight with the carnivore either primarily or to first lose weight before transitioning to a healthy meat based lifestyle- to lose weight I’d recommend strictly limiting cheese, all dairy including sour cream and sauces. I’d also recommend limiting eating at restaurants. Probably limit coffee especially coffee with cream or sugar. The good news is that at least for me- still consuming diet and zero sugar sodas hasn’t slowed my weight loss at all.
Ha! We bought that drawer freezer last night at Costco!! Can’t wait to organize it!!
Ooh you are going to LOVE it!!
I have the same one and I LOVE it. It makes it so easy to organize my "treasures". Publix just had Rib Roast on sale ($7.99 per pound) so I stocked up and my entire freezer is filled with rib eye steaks and I have 1 drawer with the ribs off the roasts when I had the butcher cut the roasts into steaks. Yummy!
@@HulaShack1 I'm jeIIy!!! : )
Thank you for opening your personal space for us to follow your example. BTW I bought some of the turkey butter also.
Thank you, Laura! Great video.
Thank you for sharing 💗.
Love the realistic fridge expectations!
Thank you 😊
Expired Jam. Perfect! That was fun Laura. Thank you.
My kids had never had PB&J and asked to try it so we bought it once and then never actually used it 😂😂
Love the tour! I keep hoping my husband will jump on the carnivore train someday. So I don’t have to buy so many other things 😂 my kids are pretty happy eating mostly
Meat. But that doesn’t suit him so far. That’s alright though! He’s working on not having carbs and such at least and working towards healthier choices too!
Mine too, hey. I’m the cook. He still has bad habits. Like cereal breakfast or snack so I try to buy the best organic. He still likes a small potato. My joke to him is. I could live off of potatoes. I am low carb. So no potatoe for me.
I love seeing what you have in your refrigerator. We have a chest freezer in the garage and I hope to replace it with a standing freezer once it finally dies.
We have a chest freezer also but we really only use it for big stuff like Turkeys, or things we dont use very often. When we are ready to rotate through things we bring it inside and always pull from this stand-up freezer.
I missed meeting you, here in Tempe the other day, it was a great meet/meat up. 😔🙋🏽♂️❤️💚
Love this video! Thanks for sharing. ❤
Love this! So helpful!! You are so organized!!
I just purchased that Hamilton Beach freezer from Costco. It arrives soon, I'm so excited to fill it up with delicious meat! You are my favorite carnivore, thank you for sharing! ❤❤❤
Love mine
Thank you for sharing this information.❤ Very helpful.
Loved this video, it was very helpful! And yes, I’d love to see your spices & pantry too.
Love this so much! Lots of great ideas. Thank you!
Love all the content you are putting out! Thank you.
Thank you for this! Very helpful for a newbie who is trying to wrap my head around variety of the diet! I've always wanted to try Thrive Markets as well! Thanks!!!!
You’re beautiful Laura!!
Thanks so much for another helpful video. I've heard of Thrive but have never ordered from them. I will certainly check it out. Thanks!
Great video! Thank you! I would love to see the pantry and spices!
I know others are short on space as I am. I found a "Danby" Upright Freezer with 6 drawers smaller than Laura's. It is just me and I live in an apartment. I really like it and it is plenty big enough for 2 people.
Have a happy new year Laura Spath
Clear and concise as always, with just the right amount of humour.! I love your freezer, I might have to get myself one, too. You can never be too organized.
That was so fun.. thank you❤
I absolutely love the new sparkling LMNT waters. Delicious 😋 pricey but good. ❤
You are blessed to have a huge fridge full of food choices. I have just an ice box part of an under the counter freezer and 2 shelves on a sm fridge. USA defo have more choices then UK does.
Try goat cheese in your scrambled eggs. Just don’t over salt because goat cheese is salty. I use goat of Buffalo mozzarella in my eggs or guacamole. You can thank me later haha. 😂😂😂
On a side note, I’m friends with the Garza family that sold Siete foods to Pepsi Co. Keep a lookout to see if they will change the recipes.
Thanks for sharing. I like videos like this that gives me ideas.
I need that drawer freezer in my house. Very cool!
I like the looks of that freezes too.
I got one, inspired by Laura. Life changing. So much easier to know what we have and get at it easily. Now we're going to convert the chest freezer into an ice plunge. 😂
@emilykajillion that's a great idea! 😄
Love this. Please keep repeating, so we can commit your ideas to memory..thanks. 😁❤️
💚 Happy New Year, Laura! I love that stand up drawer freezer! I'm wrapping up the holiday season and finishing off the "treats". I have a big pot of bone broth on the stove and I'm ready to get on the Carnivore Wagon. Thanks for sharing your fridge and feeezer! 💚
Love you and your videos!❤
Your COSTCO freezer hack is my new fav thing!
I'm glad I watched this. It gave me 3 new meal ideas that I can add to my roster which I will admit, will not be full carnivore. After eating meat, fat and water for almost 2 years I'm severely getting bored and I'm finding myself CRAVING things like tomatoes, sourdough with way too much butter and salt, romaine lettuce etc. Definitely going to add some veg to my diet but I will definitely stick to the lesser harmful ones that also add some nutrition.
Also, I made a homemade guac the other day made from 4 large avocados, cilantro, red onion, fresh lime juice etc. Tomorrow will be the third day and it will all be gone. It's SO DELICIOUS with some ground beef, or even some chicken thighs cooked in hella butter on med-low heat.
The Guy Fieris mop sauce it's called our favorite bbq sauce! 😊
Loved this! Thanks so much!🌻💗
Best greetings from Bavaria. 👋❣
I'm 5 months Carnivore now and luv your videos.
I wish we'd have a costco here in Germany. 😮
Our supermarkets are not so huge and many stuff not available here.
I love so much how organized your fridge and freezer are! I love also your message that we are all different and if you want a little Dill in your chicken salad that is ok. Videos like yours have helped so much over the years. I hope you never stop or if you do we are neighbors hahaha
I know the stuff in my fridge isn't "perfect" but it's just my real life and some of those things just make living this way easier (and more realistic) for us.
@@LauraSpath That changed my life!! Just not having to be perfect and not being so black and white. If I ate like the dill then I felt like I failed or something. It is nice to know that I am not alone and it is ok to be not perfect all the time. Thank you for that!!
Love it! I absolutely love your content. I may or may not rewatch your videos like a billion times. Haha!
I want that freezer! Ever since the first video you made about it but I have too many freezers already 😬😁. I am looking forward to stream lining my food storage. I just got pork belly and cut it into bite size pieces flash froze it on a tray then bagged it up. Between meatballs, chicken bites and pork belly bites there’s always something ready to throw in the air fryer.
Same situation here!
Definitely agree with Sam’s bacon bits being better than Costco’s. Fun video….our refrigerators look a lot alike!!
A staple we always have are butter, sour cream, lunch meat, bacon, steak and alot of ground beef.
I still have a turkey butter sculpture too!
Love your videos!
This video was so helpful for everyday ideas. Very interested in Thrive market because it is difficult to find in my local supermarket.
Good video. ❤❤ loved hearing you speak today at meat up.
Awesome video!!!!!!
Nicely organized fridge Laura! I love tha minced garlic as well. My grocery store has it in a squeeze bottle! Love that!
Oh yes we have bought that one before too!
Had always wondered about Thrive Market. Glad to know can get Carnivore stuff.
Great video 😊thank you
Wonderful! Love this video. I'm a little bit jealous about these beautiful marbled steaks. I can't find something like that here in Germany. Everything is still lean... But yours look great!
My absolute favorite RUclipsr 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks for this info!!!!
Thanks for sharing!!! Your content is very helpful!
Wow, I live in Australia and I'm so jealous as we really don't have anywhere near the same amount of clean products commercially available in our stores or even online. Meat products can't be shipped from the States to Australia due to our customs laws and even if they could it would end up costing too much. I love that you and Chris each have a steak drawer in the freezer!
Yes we do, where are you shopping?
@MM-pq5mm tell me where you get Carnivore Snax or Carnivore Crisps?
@
The pork scratching a from the carnivore store are great! Just pork fat and salt
Forgot about Thrive market. I trust your judgement so I’ll check it out!
Thank you. I need to see inside some of the pots cos we might call things by a different name so I don't know what they are 😂 I'd like to see you do more cooking videos too please but not using an air dryer as I don't have one!! 😂❤
Laura. Maybe do the pantry? I have just so much I will probably never use now
My Refrig and Freezer is nearly like yours. I do put the buy date on all my frozen stuff and label what is in my vacuum bags so I know what is in them .
That's smart, sometimes I do so I can tell between filet's and sirlon's etc. We tend to rotate meat around by putting new frozen stuff in an outside chest freezer and then stuff we want to eat soon with this inside freezer. But dates would help make sure we keep track of it all.
I have that same freezer and I LOVE It!
Thanks for this.
I’d love to see your pantry!
Freezer : Ground beef, hamburger patties, .. Fridge: Lots of eggs. More ground beef? Oh, bacon when it's on sale. Pantry: Canned sardines, oysters, cod liver. And shallots .. sorry, a little cheat there. And coffee beans of course.
Yay top 76 and top 10 likes and comments. Love this channel. Best to you and your family. Thanks for making this video. Happy new year
Tapatio ❤
You are very inspirational. Thank you
Laura I've had Thrive Market for years! You have to try The New Primal Noble made Garlic parm wing sauce. The brand is pretty clean and tastes great. They also have other flavors. They were one of my new finds this year.
I love melting the Sam’s club Gouda in the microwave. It gets melty and gooey. Perfect dessert!
Great video! And Happy New Year! I was wondering if you have the protein pancake recipe posted? Thank you for this real-life video. Much appreciated.
Loved this video. I got ideas for things I haven’t bought before. Thrive sounds interesting!
They have Fresh meats and cheese for delivery as well depending on your area.
Like that you think ahead with organization
I make Pork Lard myself. Pork Lard is Amazing!!
I'm excited to use it. I cook with Bacon grease often but I think this is going to be so good!!
Very helpful. I want a freezer with drawers. 😊
I just saw the information on all the ingredients in LMNT. I so believed in your endorsement of a product and have bought it for the past year.
It answers my question of why my craving sweets has been such a struggle. I didn't know until today the true ingredients of a product you promote.
Can you please list the ingredient(s) you are complaining about, or your comment doesn’t make sense.
Plus, Laura is much heavier now than her thumbnail picture that looks photoshopped...to make her look thinner and draw you in to watch...which proves the point they say on the Mastering Diabetes channel that long-term Carnivore can actually increase weight and people start regaining their weight. You can see the weight gain in her face and arms even though she tries to cover her body now in most of her videos.
I love that freezer!
Laura i admire you ! I wish i was as strong as u! Day 3 for me and im already craving sugar 😭😭
I understand. By day 3 I am gagging on meat
Some extra fat might help cut the sugar cravings..best of luck..❤
I too still crave sugar. Seems to be a reaccuring thought randomly now and than. I do low carb ice cream , no sugar chocolate and some canned whip cream. I also do Atkins low carb bars. It was difficult doing Xmas cookies. I only gained. 2 lbs. Normally that just all out binge time on sugar. I know how addictive sugar is and try my hardest to keep my carbs under 20. Keep up your low carb mostly. I do meat and small salad. I have knocked out sugar, breads, rice, noodles and processed foods and potatoes.
