I've just found this whilst looking for videos on wiper motors. It was very helpful thank you. BTW, my 1965 Morris Minor saloon has the self parking motor fitted. I'm in a similar position to you at this point. I purchased my car in the summer of 2022. It is solid underneath, but a little tired on the bodywork. My car has been off the road since 2004. I've greased everything, replaced all the brake cylinders (master and remote servo as well) and flexible hoses, rebuilt the carb, replaced the radiator, thermostat, water pump, hoses. I've fitted new ignition parts, new tyres, sump gasket. All seemed well, but the christmas drive home had to be abandoned due to wiper motor failure which also highlighted a charging issue, but the bottom line is the motor was drawing too much current. Another thing I've been struggling with is keeping the rain out of the number plate lamp, this water eventually finding its way to lower boot floor. More work to do...
Great job, well done. I've always had a problem in that my wipers work ok but the self-park doesn't! Investigations are required. Great video, thank you.
I too have lower back problems . What helps me is walking and or bicycling on a regular basis. When you feel back stiffening up go for 2K walk whenever possible . That works for my problems and may help you too.I have dealt with this for 50 some years. CHEERS from Westcoast Canada!
One little thing I've noticed that you should probably rectify is the location of your aftermarket fuel filter. It's before the fuel pump, whereas it really should be after. Fuel pumps don't like pulling fuel through a restriction like that, they're much happier pushing fuel into it. It will shorten the life of your pump where it is at the moment.
Very good and informative. For a moggy that is going to be used (as mine is), I highly recommend the variable intermittent wiper module from these guys,; retronicsonline.com They also do a hazard flasher kit, although I made my own using a switch and 2 relays. I look forward to more videos👍

As a kid in the late 70’s I loved the noise of the wipers hitting the bottom of the screen
