How is everyone beating this guy? I’m stuck on this part of the game. You just cannot read his attack patterns.
There’s lots of RUclips guides on how to beat him. Just make sure you’ve almost maxed out your upgrades and stuff before you attempt him. Max health helps.

That RAAAAHHHHHHHH as he runs towards you is the scariest thing in Star Wars. Took me forever to beat him, definitely the hardest/best boss they've added.

This is one of about a handfull of characters I'd happily see remade in a Star Wars after/if Disney sell or loose ownership of it or something else is made to retcon/course correction it.

I cannot even imagine how much more menacing he would be. Truly a force to reckon with

What makes it even funnier is that years back during the release of The Force Awakens, there was an SNL Skit of "Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base" where Adam Driver as Kylo went in disguise as "Matt. The Radar Technician". So this was most likely a reference to that
That's what I was thinking when I came across this joke boss too heh. I love it when developers put a sense of humor into their games now and then.

Pretty sure its a reference to the Elden Ring tutorial boss Soldier of Godrick (also a grunt enemy) and people were meming about how hes the hardest boss in the game, calling him "Rick, Soldier of God"

The game developers did a great job with this boss fight. Very challenging.
The funny thing is how they purposely put that boss when we all had low health because of a previous fight against a ton of enemies and no checkpoints. I literally was like 1HP when I got to him and when I saw that it was a boss I was so mad that I was about to die and have to replay all that sequence 🤣

People don't seem to understand how significant and influential Rick the Door Technician really is. He is LITERALLY the backbone of the Empire. Sad to see him gone so early, had he lived. The Empire would have won.
It was the doors RICK was meant to fix that left so many Imperial bases and outposts vulnerable.

I freaked out when I saw a boss health bar because you had just gone through the one of the hardest sections in the game and I did not want to restart that.
Now they need to find a new door technician 😭

In the next game there will be a big oggdo brood mother which is 3 times bigger than the other two froggs and has more eyes and other/more dangerous abilitys, for sure! 😵

This was legitimately my reaction aside from my own uncontrollable laughter was extended approximately 2x as long
I love that they added some humor to the game droids made me chuckle so did Rick even tho he’s too powerful
This immediately reminded me of Spider-Man 2 back in the day. Find one of the big villains robbing a convenience store or something after he's put you through multiple death traps etc. He starts talking shit, his health bar appears and it's revealed he has like 10 full bars or something...and then you deplete all of them with a single punch. Great gag.
Ultimate battle between Rick the Door Technician and Matt the Radar Technician
You and I did the same exact thing, looked at the name of the boss with confusion, force pulled and stabbed him for the insta-kill and then proceed to laugh our asses off afterwards. This was my favorite boss fight.
Rick spends a lot of time safely away from the fighting, keeping the doors working properly. In his spare time he imagines he's a much better fighter than he is and when finally faced with a serious threat, vastly overestimates his own fighting abilities and charges fearlessly at the incoming Jedi threat.
In his mind, he was a boss.
RIP Rick, he was the best at what he did. Unfortunately, that was door maintenance and not combat.

I like to imagine when making the game, someone designed the long hall Rick is in, then someone came up and said: “it feels kinda empty” and thus, Rick was born
Moments like these are what makes video game's special and memorable, When I see laughter in reaction, makes a grown man cry to think this takes me back to 360 era when video games were cared much for.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Rick the door technician? I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. Darth Rick the door technician was a imperial scout trooper who was also a secret dark lord of the sith who worked on doors for a living. He was so good in fact that one day while he was on duty he had a run in with the infamous Cal Kestis and was soon dispatched after because he realized his dreams of being a force user was when he met that blade.
The greatest Star Wars character ever... Rick might be dead, but he will never be gone in my heart

When I first saw this, I got the vibes from Batman: Arkham Origins. If you ever played it, basically same thing happens. Gonna fight a boss Electrocutioner and he’s talking all this mess and you run towards him press one button and you knock him out first try. Although my game bugged out and I actually had to fight him which was weird.
