Peppa Pig The Killer should have* Surely you’re joking lol. “iPotato” is playing off of the joke that poor film quality is filmed with inanimate objects, the most popular being microwaves or potatoes. The “i” signifying that it was an iPhone and the camera quality was shit. Can’t believe I have to explain this to anyone and yet here you are.
Don't get too hype, it was only a modena, probably one of the cheapest Ferraris. What the hell am I talking about, congratulations on that, I drive a $30k Camaro, I am in no space to talk shit about a $100k car xP
I'm in your shoes. Same car, bought it in October. So far 8k worth of 2 separate services. First was a moving transmission, second was the clutch position sensor crapped out.
Great call on the fire extinguisher. I was also amused that the car is already at the shop. Hopefully the range rover isn't rubbing off on it. Looks fantastic though. Love the gated shifter.
Just watched your old video Doug. You really had a long journey on RUclips and you are totally worthy of 5 million subscribers now. Love your videos and your style of car reviews is so entertaining to watch.
Exactly like my trip when I bought a used '09 Cayenne - listened for every little sound, squeek, looked at all the terperature gauges! Of course it is not to be compared with a Ferrari, but I'm not rich, so I felt like I bought something out of my range anyway!
+Carlitox b Ferraris caught fire because the fuel lines vibrate and worn out, eventually leaks . They are metal braided but regular checks is a must or replaced every few years or so .
1:25 is priceless for someone CLEARLY unfamiliar with a 360. The entire rear end, challenge grill (or even painted rear ends) and muffler are boiling hot after driving. You don't touch the engine, ever, after running over 10 minutes. Dougie is lucky he did not put the flat part of his palm entirely on it.
Guy has plenty of reason to be worried. A. Many Ferrari's are very low mile, and seals degrade, dry, leak, etc. These cars are often not driven very far, so a long stint like that can allow problems to show themselves for sure. B. Since many Ferrari's don't accumulate much mileage, many issues that would be revealed in just one year of production on a more common car, often never get revealed entirely. C. I had three Ferrari's in the past...a testarossa, a 308 and a 355. Testarossa was the most reliable by far, 355 was ehhhh...50/50...but I didn't trust the car. The 308 was a high mile beater (55k miles is high mile beater territory in a Ferrari)...it was fine, but kept me working on it frequently. Until your ass is in the seat, covering your own "medicals" so to speak, dont' judge the guy.
LightsOutMan I've put miles on new ones, just never disassembled or repaired them. Build quality really went up for ferrari with the 430, thats for sure.
my uncle had a ferrari 288, it was his secondary car out of... 14 cars (quite a rich guy) and altos once a week he would take his ferrari to work... the car never caught fire, only broke down once and had no major problems, the seat was patched from the previous owner though, when he thought it was time for a change he sold his 288 for 75,000 bucks and bought a second hand ferrari 430, to this day he still owns this car and has 17 cars including an aston martin, a porsche 911 turbo s and nissan gtr black edition. his runaround everyday car is c63 amg
I live very close to that Ferrari dealership in Orlando. There’s also a Land Rover dealer there and more recently a Tesla service building. And it’s all right smack in the middle of the hood lol but there’s a pretty upscale part of town pretty close by.
Hilarious😂. Your progression is awesome. Been watching a while but finally went to the oldest option in your videos. Keep up the great BBC work and congratulations on becoming successful doing what you love👍
5POINT0 "Why would you worry about this car breaking down? It's a Ferrari..." Asking a question and then answering it the very next sentence. Good job.
In a supercar you didn't fix your car using a toolkit if it somehow break down, but instead, you use a fire extinguisher as your only tool because the engine might burn when its break down
I can't belive doug demuro want from making funny videos to giving advice on cars and reviewing them know you have almost 1.1 billion views and you second channel has 60 million
Still my favorite Ferrari, which also has a pretty interesting engine, as it's the same block that was used in Formula 1 back in the days of Michael Schumacher.
The thing with low mileage supercars is that any sort of problems that occur with more miles driven, don't appear, hence no warranty work within the warranty period.
I find it great that internet allow us to know what people really think. before internet, it was hard to know what people really felt and thought, because they couldn't do it anonymously.
I don't think you understand the concept of "can't afford".... this man if I had to guess I'd an engineer of some sort and with a salary like that he can definitely afford to finance these cars (these meaning his range rover too). I honestly don't know why you think he can't afford it.
Since you noticed the dome light switch issue, just wanted to share that all 360s have a busted dome light switch. The internal wiring was done incorrectly. One of the light switches works, but the other doesn't. It should still illuminate when you open the doors, though.
So welcome to the super car community. Timing belts about every 5000 miles. Save your money for car week in Monterey. You will need to make pilgrimage to Newport Beach.
You are going to wish you got one with paddle shifting instead of having to use a clutch all the time in the ATL. I'm predicting that clutch will be first major issue. Bet you can't wait to see that 5 figure bill.
Genius, the manual rarely has an issue and costs less than $2K to replace. The F1 costs north of $15K and often craps out as it was their first real go at the F1.
Great video and car. My favorite modern Ferrari. The 430, 458 are not as elegant IMO. You made a great choice. It will stand the test of time, design-wise.
2014 looks like 15 years ago for doug.
Until recently he's been filming on an old iPhone since like 2013. Last month he upgraded to a real camera from the ipotato
I HAVE THE DOCUMENTS
I don’t know what and ipotato is but he should of kept it. I always thought he had a good camera.
White folks age like spoiled milk.........lol
Peppa Pig The Killer should have*
Surely you’re joking lol. “iPotato” is playing off of the joke that poor film quality is filmed with inanimate objects, the most popular being microwaves or potatoes. The “i” signifying that it was an iPhone and the camera quality was shit. Can’t believe I have to explain this to anyone and yet here you are.
Brutal
Doug, the kind of guy who makes 2014 look like it was 10 years ago!
Give it a few more years and it will be!
Almost there
it nearly was
it is now...
You’re not wrong.
Doug the type of guy to touch a engine after it running for 3 hours.
Bruh 😂
No no no no
😂😂
500 likes for 500 hp!
@Sunamer Z it is part of the exhaust and there is literally a giant sign that says don't touch
This guy seems good he should start giving Doug scores or something
That would be fairly pretentious.
Doug looks so boyish here. Much water has passed since 2014!
Fast cars and fast women.
No offense Mrs. DeMuro.
U thought he was a girl. Definitely he's a boy can't u see?
Passing water, is that like when you forget your fire extinguisher?
He was only 24 in this video. Now he's 30.
Jameel Ja Doug’s age has always been a mystery I don’t think he’s that young I think he’s a quirky ageless alien
I can’t believe I was subscribed to Doug back when he had just over 5,000 subs. And he first bought this car
Doug is the type of guy to buy a new tool and then buy a Ferrari in the hopes he gets to use it.
nice to see a manual trasmission : )
"Well we made it and I didn't even need to use my tool" - Doug Demuro on returning from his honeymoon.
💀
Such a beautiful timeless design. Still one of my favorite cars.
totally agree, i hope to own one one day, it seems to be the most affordable Ferrari that still has a modern look .
I picture it cruising along on an ocean boulevard not on an interstate through southern Georgia.
Gonna get mine in 3 days live in act
I know, this car has aged so well...
@@positivesecret Good luck, not impossible.
Nice use of my song there at 2:17 ! :D The fact that my music played in a Ferrari... ♫ ♬❤
What song?
+DSK GAMING "Relax and Smile" ;)
Don't get too hype, it was only a modena, probably one of the cheapest Ferraris.
What the hell am I talking about, congratulations on that, I drive a $30k Camaro, I am in no space to talk shit about a $100k car xP
I made a song about Ferrari's. Every Ferrari matters. :D
***** Talking original retail. Not resale.
It's funny how many people actually think this is a serious video
Nine years
Doug is the kind a guy to make a 2014 video look like its from 2007
I love coming back to these old Doug vids. So much character the reviews he does now sort of lack. I miss the old content.
Yeah, I miss the humor of his old videos, that's why I started reading his writing on Jalopnik originally
How’s that? It’s still the same humor. Just watched the new video about the terminator cobra and it’s the exact same humor sprinkled in.
I'm in your shoes. Same car, bought it in October. So far 8k worth of 2 separate services. First was a moving transmission, second was the clutch position sensor crapped out.
why buy a used Ferrari lmaooo
Shadow 1118 to flex
1:24. Perfect meme material!
Wow ur right actually
The most anti-climactic video ever :)
lol yoooooooo
Didn't expect you to be here
Gated shifter... GATED SHIFTER... GATED SHIFTERRRR!!!!!!
-Jid M on Jalopnik
Your a of daddy doug fan do you still like him
I miss old Doug….but still like and watch him. Just something about the old videos I like.
Girl dont temp him
omg you got the modena with stick shift! they are so hard to find!
F1 paddle shift is fun but changing the clutch every time is not
lmao blue clues and cars!
Thank you :)
I would have moved my house closer to the ferrari. Just think, you'd be leaving Atlanta, that's a huge win!
I love the sound of your ferrari shifting!
Exactly like my trip when I bought a used '09 Cayenne - listened for every little sound, squeek, looked at all the terperature gauges! Of course it is not to be compared with a Ferrari, but I'm not rich, so I felt like I bought something out of my range anyway!
I love how you joke a lot about the thing getting on fire
+Carlitox b Ferraris caught fire because the fuel lines vibrate and worn out, eventually leaks . They are metal braided but regular checks is a must or replaced every few years or so .

1:26 Doug has learned a lesson about not touching hot engines.

+RC000E This is probably the only time I'll ever be able to see somebody refer to a Ferrari as a beater lol.
+RC000E cool story, bro.
LightsOutMan I've put miles on new ones, just never disassembled or repaired them. Build quality really went up for ferrari with the 430, thats for sure.
WOW, the 360 has aged so well! Except for the headlights, it looks better than ever.
my uncle had a ferrari 288, it was his secondary car out of...
Doug made sure you check cars and bids by adding it in the description
Doug the type of guy to be *consternated* over exhaust smoke
I can't believe this was 3 years ago
TheLuckyDawg24 i cant believe this was 5 years ago
Believe and truth will set you free
I can't believe this comment was 3 years ago
Wow I thought Doug would be way different but his personality is the exact. Same funny and cool, it makes my day. Btw who is watching this in 2019
After the 360 Modena review.
Why is this just showing up in my recommendations? I saw this when it came out 😂 still can’t stop good ole Doug
1:03 Those window screen wipers look so cheap! Fiat parts bin? :)
Doug DeMuro - The story of how a comedian became RUclips's greatest car journalist
Doug the type of guy to age
I live very close to that Ferrari dealership in Orlando. There’s also a Land Rover dealer there and more recently a Tesla service building. And it’s all right smack in the middle of the hood lol but there’s a pretty upscale part of town pretty close by.
At the time of this video. We never knew we were looking at a 3m plus subscriber youtuber
Here because of the rich parents myth video.
Doug the type of guy to bring a fire extinguisher for the rain
Amusing video Doug. You also sold me on the Ferrari 360. Enjoy your new car.
Hilarious😂. Your progression is awesome. Been watching a while but finally went to the oldest option in your videos. Keep up the great BBC work and congratulations on becoming successful doing what you love👍
Why would you worry about this car breaking down? It's a Ferrari not a 96 Buick lesabre with 195,000 miles.
5POINT0 Because these 360's are very well known for having a lot of issues.
5POINT0 "Why would you worry about this car breaking down? It's a Ferrari..."
Asking a question and then answering it the very next sentence. Good job.
+Idoloish Let's be thankful though.. If it weren't for Ferrari's legendarily poor reliability, there may have never been an Automobili Lamborghini!!!
well, i own a 96 lesabre with 195.000 miles and works fine
+5POINT0 You should check out a site like Wreckedexotics. Ferraris and Lambos frequently catch fire. Put me off ever wanting to own one.
Is this when you were still working for Porsche?
we love all ur reviews doug!!!! pls make more
In a supercar you didn't fix your car using a toolkit if it somehow break down, but instead, you use a fire extinguisher as your only tool because the engine might burn when its break down
I can't belive doug demuro want from making funny videos to giving advice on cars and reviewing them know you have almost 1.1 billion views and you second channel has 60 million
dam i didnt know doug used to make videos like this. He looks like a "hip" dad but hes actually a chill ass nigga
Whoa...you came a long way buddy.
Yeah, 500 miles
amazing video the best I've seen of you. the camera is very natural to you
Doug with a Ferrari at 26 is nuts
I think I replayed him burning his hand on the exhaust at least a dozen times and it just keeps getting funnier
Looks like we’re neighbors Doug since I live in Buckhead. I bought a 996 C4 because of your review! So now if it breaks I know where to find you!
He doesnt live in Atlanta anymore
Hes in San Diego
Honda taught the world how to build a supercar that didn't break down every other day. Not all of the other manufacturers took heed however.
Honda making supercars? Hahahahaha
Love that you noticed the S60 R. Now we're friends.
i miss these old videos
"pouring rain"
come to new england doug we'll show you "rain"
sTroovE Don’t underestimate Florida rain!
Still my favorite Ferrari, which also has a pretty interesting engine, as it's the same block that was used in Formula 1 back in the days of Michael Schumacher.

+Kyntheria What the fuck would you know about jack shit?
+Tec 9 what part about what I said doesn't make sense to you?
Kyntheria You are just repeating bullshit you read on the internet and you have ZERO personal experience with buying low milage cars.
I just bought a NEW daily driver a year and a half ago... Apparently you know me so well, lol.
Doug: Owns Ferraris before he’s RUclips famous.
Watching Doug’s second video covered with a 360 Modena blanket
I’ve started watching all of Doug demurs videos
'ol dougy boy has come a long way
Doug the type of guy to use fire extinguisher instead of toolbox if Ferrari break's down.
Dougs videos were still good back then
I’m Steve from the future I came back to see Doug.
I don't know why I'm always surprised how evil commenters are on the internet. I guess they Have some personal reason that makes it acceptable.
I find it great that internet allow us to know what people really think.
before internet, it was hard to know what people really felt and thought, because they couldn't do it anonymously.
David Jacobs Well, it’s about time you speak up for yourself...
Alright Mike, shut the fuck up
I totally forgot that he used to live in Atlanta, where I'm from. Of course, I didn't watch his channel back when he was still here. Lol
Doug is a quirk himself
Remember when.....compared to now. C A R R E R A G T 🏆
Young Doug LMAO
RUclips has opened my eyes to the world of exotic car owners who can't really afford exotic cars, i find it entertaining though.
I don't think you understand the concept of "can't afford".... this man if I had to guess I'd an engineer of some sort and with a salary like that he can definitely afford to finance these cars (these meaning his range rover too). I honestly don't know why you think he can't afford it.

yep, I bought one used for $100, the guys who sold me had to send 3 before one worked!
Doug looks like he’s about to compete in a underground street race club when it’s night time
the 360 never had any problems with blowing up..only the 458 for a short period of time.
The brakes liked to catch on fire.
This is the Doug I remember!
2014 was the pre container shipment of khaki shorts and double t shirts Doug
I had no idea you lived in Atlanta. I'm over in Gwinnett. I'd love to see your collection sometime
I just randomly opened the description and saw a link to cars and bids
Doug DeMuro Thanks for this vid... Love your blog posts as well.
So welcome to the super car community. Timing belts about every 5000 miles. Save your money for car week in Monterey. You will need to make pilgrimage to Newport Beach.
Doug is the type of guy to touch the engine bay when the car is still hot 1:25
You are going to wish you got one with paddle shifting instead of having to use a clutch all the time in the ATL. I'm predicting that clutch will be first major issue. Bet you can't wait to see that 5 figure bill.
Genius, the manual rarely has an issue and costs less than $2K to replace. The F1 costs north of $15K and often craps out as it was their first real go at the F1.
Doug, the type of guy to take a vacation in a supercar.
Doug was super cute in 2014!
Wow you should've stayed in Atlanta it is one of the best cities
Why so many dislikes? Nice vid BTW
My favorite Ferrari ever!
If I ever got a Ferrari or Lamborghini the first thing I would do is go to mcdonalds
Doug is the type of person to drive a Ferrari in extremely casual clothes
and none of us had any idea that you were potentially facing a $40k repair bill...
You've come such a long way @dougdemuro
I can't afford a Ferrari... So I'm going to ask. What was the gas milage?
How many gallons per mile? Jk
Awesome car, awesome color, I like it. Sure got those 500 miles down well.
Great video and car. My favorite modern Ferrari. The 430, 458 are not as elegant IMO. You made a great choice. It will stand the test of time, design-wise.
