“Tired World”, the first single from Saga's new album “Symmetry”, made its first appearance on the band's debut album as one of two pieces of the jigsaw puzzle that is The Chapters, a continuous narrative revolving around a central theme & character (Albert Einstein), and spread out over several albums throughout much of Saga's extensive body of work.
While “Tired World” is considered by many to be one of the band's iconic classics, this new interpretation of the song brings a new life and new energy to the track with its thoughtful and creative re-imagining, without sacrificing the integrity of the original recording.
This new version also features guest performances (as do a majority of the songs on Symmetry), along with new acoustic instrumentation and fresh perspectives, highlighting the intricacies and arrangement of the song.
“Symmetry” will be available as CD Jewelcase, 2LP Gatefold and Digital on March 12th, 2021 on earMUSIC.

I love Saga, I use they’re music to inspire me & I’m 56YO. It inspired me in 1981 & it has brought me full circle.
There was never anything like their first 3 albums and there will never beRush never came close to them.If a fire broke out in my house,i would save my children,wife and my 3 Saga albums 1st,then i would go back and get my mother-in-law.
Then we are the same age, i love them to.
@@EA-58 Saw them in Budapest in 83 and at Maple Leaf Garden in 84.Stil my best concert experience and saw a few other bands but Saga was a new hi-energy style,that many tried but was able to put out medium quality music in the category..
I am 57 jears now and never forget Saga was my first concert I ever seen.

I’ll be 57 on the 27 of this month, my DOB is 03/27/1964, but I was in college full time paid by my work, and my tuition & books were covered, yet you had to pass all classes with a “C” , and my father & grandfather made me work at metro Police where my grandfather retired & my father was a assistant chief. So I loved hearing Saga at all the college fraternity parties that I answered calls at, but never got to mingle with the college kids, because it was against policy to interface with any of the civilians where I went to school due to SOP & bi-laws. But even though I had to attend school in uniform & took a unmarked police car, students , alumni, and professors were always wanting me to have citations dismissed, or help them with DUI’s etc.. I mention this because I finally retire in 9 months when my youngest finishes graduate school. Yet I missed out on all the fun of attending concerts like Saga, and Scandal, and all the others popular on MTV. I graduated in 1981 from HS , but scheduled to graduate in 82, and MTV started in 1981, everyone in high school & college would get together to watch Saga, MJ, Bowie, Heart, etc etc. Everyone in Texas knew , because of MTV that Saga was from Canada & every HS & college kid wore a Asian marked shirt like Jim the vocalist. I wished he would’ve cut all his hair, my favorite video is “Wind him up”. I actually bought a Camero just like the one on that video, but it was a Z28 4 on the floor.

Listening to this song immediately reminds me of the new Kansas album.
Right but both,Kansas and Giant,are one level above.
I am hearing some Flower Kings as well as the others.
Even though it sounds a bit rehashed, it's pure Saga - let's not be fooled by some images recalling "Free hand"'s cover or that Kansas alike violin sound. Flower kings are far enough away from this "new" Saga track ... 🤔 Let's give'em time and faith 👈🏻🤘
Damn, thought the men of SAGA would just do some concerts here and there during their semi-retirement but instead they do something that is really creative and fresh ,love these songs in original form and these new adorations of these songs is special and are really outstanding,please keep making new music and retire never ,Michael Sadler's voice(my favorite)is still a 10, one of best out there,been listening to band for 37 years after I randomly heard" Don't be late" being played in record store(thank you record store employee for that) KEEP IT GUYS AND THANK YOU FOR EXCELLENCE......

Einige ihrer besten Songs im modernen, neuen Gewand .Klingt wirklich gut, gerade für den unbelasteten, neuen Zuhörer. Ich persönlich tendiere eher zu den Original-Aufnahmen von damals. Strahlen sie doch mehr Dramatik und Emotionen aus wie ich finde. Dennoch klasse gemacht.

Cool track SAGA! I like both versions. Can't wait to hear the whole new album! Truly prescient lyrics from the first album. Like any great song, it gets better the more you hear it. After a month now, its one of my favourite songs! Masterful arrangement.

Saga was my first concert in 1983. I am still a fan and saw them 5 more times since then. What a great new version of this classic track. I love it.

@@oysterboy8254 it was in Heidelberg, Germany during the Heads or tales Tour. Support was Chris Rea and his Band. In 1986 I saw them again in Germany. The day before Saga played I saw Blue Öyster Cult in the same venue. During Roadhouse Blues Michael Sadler and Ian Crichton entered the stage and played this together with BÖC.

I can't explain how happy I am to hear these songs in a Acoustic state is amazing. I am so happy that they are continuing forward because they have always been one of my favorite bands. Saga has aged so gracefully. I can't wait to get my hands on that 2-LP Set. Thank the whole band for all their hard work just for their fans!

ok. say whatever you like about SAGA, but the way they (re)arranged the "...a sleeping world, just WAITING... A TIRED WORLD! (instruments: ) zza-zang! zang-zang! ..." e.g. 1:17 is nothing short of a masterstroke, pure genius, goosebumps all over the place. this short section alone deserves a Grammy.
That starts off with strong hints of Gentle Giant. Lovely job guys. Great song from a great band.
