It's wild because everything was working fine. Then all of a sudden no sounds through monitor or headset. This video helped as i unplugged all cables and replaced the HDMI. The sounds then came back for about 5 minutes. After i booted up a game of MLB the audio went out during the middle of an inning and I'm once again without audio.
The full shut down and unplug from the wall and their inputs worked! My issue was that the sound worked on everything but the blue ray on the ps5. Infuriating! It's all up and running again. Thank you!
Im using a rig 800 headset and It’s connecting through Bluetooth/usb adapter. I switched the audio output setting and the p5 recognizes the headset but just doesn’t play any kind of audio
So does anybody else have the issue where the sound will be working fine playing one game then you'll close it out and you'll lose all sound then you have to unplug your HDMI cord plug it back in and then sound will come back maybe if that tick works that time intell you reopen another application or game then you have to redo the HDMI chord again?
Im also noticing on my PS5 that I'm experiencing this issue ONLY on the games that are ps5/ps4 games that I downloaded. Sometimes the audio plays, but when I turn the game off, I have no audio on my ps5 unless I do an HDMI port swap.
In my 5.1 system home theatre, (Pioneer Ht-072 Vsx 324) the center speaker and rear left an right speaker don't work. I use the arc/eArc port on tv and the Ps5 Slim directory link on tv... Only fronte right e front left work
My only problem is that when my headset usb is plugged in to the ps5 and i turn the ps5 on, theres no sound until i turn my headset on and off again. Very annoying for playing single player without headphones and i dont want to risk losing the usb. I've searched far and hard and nobody has an answer. Whats weird is only my new headset does it. My Playstation gold headset doesn't do it but my TB stealth 600 gen 2 does. Drives me up the wall
I have a similar problem I have a vizio elevate using earc when I'm playing a game and if I die or go to menu and when game loads back I lose sound and have to toggle through soundbars input to earc again to get sound back. Don't know if the problem is the ps5, soundbar or tv
I'm having problems hearing people through my headset I can only hear them through the TV speakers and I tried it on multiple headsets and the same thing keeps happening they can hear me talking but I can't hear them through my headphone speakers?????
Press the playstation symbol on your controller go To the Sound Click on that And whilst you've got your headphones in Controller Speaker Will change To volume And there you go
Im using two sonos SL speakers for surround sound but sundenly they made no more sounds when on the PS, setting I had it om PCM, setting it to dolby or DTS made it work again. Thanks! Weird that you cannot us 3D audio then but this fixed it for me
im trying to stream and i have the elgato capture and i can only do that audio from elgato to tv but i cant hear my game through my headset idk what to do
How do I get sound from the game like god of war ragnarok to come out of my controller? Like the speaker on the controller works but non of my games or I can't use the controller speaker as an output, someone please help
anyone have any idea why my external speaker sound so low when connected to ps5 using soundcard but when connected to dualsense controller the volume of the speaker are much higher
Say bro. I have sound but it goes in and out….. I’ve been trying to figure it out but unfortunately I’m lost.. I have a surround sound system for my television. All the bells and whistles. But the game stills picks up my audio through the system and not just the head phones. Plus the sound is going in and out during game play. Previously, I had a PS4 pro 1 TB. Just recently transferred to the PS5. Now the sound is going in and out and it never happens before…
I love how they didn't add an optical, so you have to use the audio jack through your monitor that, for some reason doesn't work doesn't work 90% of the time
So I have a new headset for my ps5 but when I plug it it all it said was controller mic and tht was it I unmuted my mic and everything and it still did not work I need belp
Just youtube how to setup your particular headset. Each headset is different and has different settings. Should be simple to find. It's all going to be in the audio settings on ps5. RUclips video will be more help than someone sending you some text lol.
I don't even have the option to switch my sound to my controller in output devices all I see is hdmi TV but no where do I see the option for the controller
@@TurboB5 i think I just reset my ps5 then it worked and I made sure My Bluetooth headphones USB was plugged in all the way. But it's working now i just forgot what I did
Here's a scenario I am having with audio, specifically throughput to headphones hardwired using the audio jack on a ps5 controller. Maybe you can help me? I have 3 ps5 controllers: 2 work fine with everything and audio throughput wired into the ps5 controller. The 3rd controller is the wonky one: I can play and do everything. Speaker works on the ps5, audio throughput to hardwired headphones does not on the ps5. When the headphone is plugged in, I go to sound, I see headphones volume and it's down to zero, grayed out, and I cannot change it for this particular controller (for the other 2 controllers, I can change that volume bar with headphones plugged in). What's weird, I can use that SAME wonky controller, plug it into my computer, use the same headphones plugged into the ps5 controller (and plug the controller into the computer with USB to USBc), and I just watched and listened to this video without a problem. Any thoughts?

THANNK YOU SO MUCH ive been sealing with this for a few days now, and it was driving me crazy.
Dude this worked like a charm! I was stressing because I haven't had my PS5 that long. Thanks!
Thanks a lot adjusting the 4k rate helped. Your video was the only 1 that suggested that. BIG HELP
Thanks. The first few steps helped. I hope my sound doesn't keep going out.
My man!!! First option worked!! Thank you 🎉
Thanks that helped hdmi probably wasn’t getting full contact on tv

What did you do it fix it
I hold the power button on the remote to my tv till the tv resets. Only fix I found so far
Worked fine till I installed a sad, now I have that issue.😢

Worked like a gem, thanks! I was losing my mind !

I think it helped because i put my hdmi in the Hdmi eArc input before….. i think this made my sound problems
Hey dude, I'm just curious but what attachments do you have on your PS5 controller? Looks nice
Looks like control freaks
How do you put your headphones volume up through the system. He mentioned it at 4:41 but didn’t show how

This helped. Funny cause I was watching a blue ray on my ps5 and sound was fine until the movie was over.

Been trying everything for two years my game base and headset light up as if they’re responsive but still no sound from ps5

@@TurboB5 I believe retrying to plug up the base to my pc and resetting everything seemed to work
I had my hdmi inserted in the Hdmi eArc input on the TV. I think that made the sound problems on my case
Must be a headset compatibility issue because it works totally fine on my Xbox but when I connect it to my Ps5 the audio is very very low.
Reset your TV initial settings (Factory settings)

It work just unplug everything ps5 hdmi power TV power cord then you good
Just plain 👍🏻👍🏻
Having to flip your hdmi to make your sound work is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
It works yes but why?!?!
I’ve never had so many issues with gaming console in my life, the ps5 is an absolute overpriced piece of garbage
