- In today's video, I have 3 games with the Bf-109 K-4 + a mini-montage as the intro, which showcases what this plane is capable of.
The Bf-109 Is an excellent fighter, but not conventional. It really excels in energy fighting and boom-and-zoom tactics. This plane at 5.7 is one of the BR's top contenders, and a favorite to fly.
Also, this is my first full-length video voiceover/commentary, and also my first time adding a montage into a video, so if you have any editing or content suggestions, as well as any ideas for planes to fly out in future videos, I'd be happy to read them in the comments.

My first favorite plane ever in War Thunder, the 109 K-4.
Sadly power crept a lot but a good pilot can still make it work.
Yeah there are a lot of new planes that fit the current meta better rn, but the 109k is still my favorite 5.7!
@@MacWithGun I for one moved to Fw190's for their devastating attacking power, supreme attack path correction with their low compression at high speeds, excellent roll-rate to react to any evasive maneuver the enemy may pull off, wings so strong their cannot rip before reaching terminal velocity. Defensive flying abilities out of this world for props and very fast. Better Boom and Zoomer than the 109 if it starts with altitude advantage.
Power crept to hell but I still do better in it, than most meta plane abusers. Because the pilot is and will always be the most important part of any airplane.
Yeah I love 190s just as much as 109s, both excellent airframes
if you use manual propeller pitch you will be better at close turning and gain speed ^^

My mouse look activation is actually left shift, so I’m able to use my pinky, which allows me to use my other fingers at the same time for other inputs
You should set up MEC (Manual Engine Control) for your props, as well as set up a couple keys for the "Magneto Position". Trust me, when you set your Magneto to 1+2... your planes engine performance goes absolutely nuts. Utilize this with the Dora 190s, and you can hold a 25 degree angle of climb to 4K meters, and then just zoom climb once to reach 5-6K meters. You outclimb Spitfires, Japanese Planes, everything.

The trick also works with the b-238 so it can outclimb p51 Hs

How do you do these rolls at min 23:50, what do you press?
This is called a snap roll. It’s just hitting full bottom rudder with the same roll direction. So if I wanna snap roll right, I hit right rudder and roll at the same time.
This snap roll trick works better on 109s than most other planes, and is extremely helpful for dodging.
@@MacWithGun What do you mean by "full bottom rudder"? so basically you get some speed and use Q and A?. When I do QA it goes down like a spiral, it doesn't do that snaproll lol.
