Simon Simic If you have a chance to come here, do it. Im just saying, you get spoiled here. But life in Switzerland with all its conveniences and the nature all around is pretty great. Yes it is a bit pricey but well worth it. You get what you pay for. Clean city, precise transportation and great service everywhere you go. I’ll definitely go back.

If you only want to have a 'wander about' in Zurich (city, w/o airport and other cities), buy a Tageskarte (day pass) for the zones 110 (Zurich counts as 2 zones) and you can do anything you like for the whole day from 05am to midnight. You can even take a boat cruise on the Limmat & a little part of Lake Zurich. You find any info you'll need on www.zvv.ch/zvv/en/travelcards-and-tickets/tickets/daypass.html, presently 1 day pass without any reductions is CHF8.80. Have fun!

When you have lived abroad as I did large chunks of my life, you learn to love and appreciate those Zürich specialties! When I get off a TGV from Paris, I often must have a Bratwurst (veal sausage) before even mounting a tram or other train.... Likewise with the Zopf, the best gift to bring me for my friends who visit are Swiss wines, on a Friday a Zopf, or Swiss cheeses and local honey.
This video isn't what I was expecting. I have a cold, I'm bored and it's 2020, so can't travel. So this afternoon I thought I would watch some videos about places I want to visit, eventually. This is literally a travel guide as in how to travel around Zurich. Very useful... for when I can actually go.

After 2 weeks in holidays at the mediterranean sea I miss Zurich and prefer it with its lake to any summer holiday I have ever been to in the world. Switzerland is paradise and Zurich is Switzerland's. Everything just works.
I'm visiting Zurich for the first time right now and it's a great experience so far. There's so much culture to enjoy both Swiss and foreign. If you're an American like me though just know that most hotels don't have AC which is my biggest issue. Everything is great though, and very photogenic
Thanks for a great guide. Been in Switzerland many times & still loving it. Yes I fully agreed, the airport is one of the best in the world. As a Manhattanite, I can confirm: Zurich (and all of Switzerland) is un-be-lie-va-bly expensive. It was actually kinda fun (and way more affordable) to grocery shop in a foreign country. Unrelated side note: Switzerland allows drinking in public, so skip the $$$$ bars, grab one of those big Feldschlösschen cans from a convenience store, and go for a stroll.
I just got back from Zurich. Watch your video before going. We didn’t realize that Sternin grill had an actual restaurant upstairs. I have it say it was great! Had the Sternin Brat, it was great!
