Came to Zurich as a student at 22 for a 6 months internship - its 11 years later now and I just never left...
Christopher Moll i guess u really liked it heheh
Hi Christopher, i am interested in moving to switzerland from Italy as Erasmus student. 21 here, can i have some of your knowledge/experience? Thanks
Giacomo Mosso what would you like to know? Honestly - dont come here at your young age. This city/country will mess up what you expect in terms of life quality, income and so on and will inhibit you from realizing some other plans of living/working elsewhere in the world. I say that half serious ;-) Cheers
@@saladbowl85 im thinking about moving with a friend at the age of 23-24, can you be more specific please?
Simon Simic If you have a chance to come here, do it. Im just saying, you get spoiled here. But life in Switzerland with all its conveniences and the nature all around is pretty great. Depending on where you come from, a city like Zurich might seem small and people might seem hard to approach. Thanks to expat meetup groups on facebook etc. you’ll be able to meet likeminded people quickly. So just give it a shot and see what you think ✌🏽
As someone who was born and brought up in Zurich, I have to say that this is by far the best video of my hometown I've seen in a looong time. It is incredibly accurate and I would never have thought that people would be that amazed about Zurich.
Excellent content 👌
From Zürich 🇨🇭
Subhan Zulfiqar how is life in Zurich for you. Are you working in zurich?
@@shinjiharaguchi5460 I was born there and at the age of 7 , i was brought to Pakistan for Islamic Studies and because my relatives here . I will go there back after a year 😍
Life in Zürich is too expensive . Restaurants , cars , houses rent etc. But literally its such a beautiful city to live in . Transportation is also way too good . One thing i hate about it is that there is no Night Life . All grocery shops , malls etc. closes at 9-10pm and you will empty roads .
Subhan Zulfiqar Muhammad instructed his followers to kill and to torture people who are not muslims. He has caused tens of millions of death by the Islamic conquest and untold suffering. Leave this religion it is a sick and violent religion.
@@shinjiharaguchi5460 Muhammad (PBUH) did not tell any muslim to kill anf torture anyone . Besides , ISLAM is a religion of peace and it really do not direct anyone to kill , hurt , torture anyone ❤Except at few circumstances .
As a Swiss native, I never thought that visitors would love such basic things as the "Sternen Bratwurst" or the "Sonntags Zopf" 😂
that's why it's important to market to extra-european tourists, they love different things that might not be amazing to europeans
ich han ned mal gwüsst, dass zopf öppis schwizerischs isch😂
I grew up in German (military family) and I miss the bratwurst so much.
@@sophies8573 dann schreibt es auch in eurer sprache ihr lappen und nicht auf deutsch ihr solltet kein eigenes land sein.
When you have lived abroad as I did large chunks of my life, you learn to love and appreciate those Zürich specialties! When I get off a TGV from Paris, I often must have a Bratwurst (veal sausage) before even mounting a tram or other train.... Likewise with the Zopf, the best gift to bring me for my friends who visit are Swiss wines, on a Friday a Zopf, or Swiss cheeses and local honey.
This is a beautiful city, I spent a week there with my wife just recently and loved it. I like to call it the Europe for the Europeans. It’s a notch above the Europe we know. Yes it is a bit pricey but well worth it. You get what you pay for. Clean city, precise transportation and great service everywhere you go.
I’ll definitely go back.
Well now I understand the transit system I'll have to find another video on Zurich itself.
writerconsidered 😆 That was a lot about transportation, and not enough about the city. But, my ex boyfriend from Zurich did complain that it was sterile and boring.
If you only want to have a 'wander about' in Zurich (city, w/o airport and other cities), buy a Tageskarte (day pass) for the zones 110 (Zurich counts as 2 zones) and you can do anything you like for the whole day from 05am to midnight. You can even take a boat cruise on the Limmat & a little part of Lake Zurich. You find any info you'll need on www.zvv.ch/zvv/en/travelcards-and-tickets/tickets/daypass.html, presently 1 day pass without any reductions is CHF8.80. Have fun!
Tbh, ur better off ubering into the city , I usually stay in regendsdorf which is south of the airport , if ur 1 person take the ticket , if ur more than 1 person call an Uber because it’s like 12 francs per person
@@Nubianette Perhaps he was
not satisfied in his heart. Zurich
is far from boring. Life is great
here.
Spent a week in Zurich last month, amazing and beautiful city, expensive but worth it

Haha, uf jede fall en grossteil
hahaha jaaaa ehhhhhh
He was right about the Zurich Airport thing, its amazing and I connect through there a lot
I had the pleasure of working there for 5 months in 2017/18. I loved it and would go back in the blink of an Eye.
Wow, now even I am hyped to visit Zurich! and I'm a native who lives here already
Sternen was introduced to me by my grandmother, which tells you how long it’s been around. I love that you included something so iconic in the video that has nothing to do with cheese!
When im child I spent 4 months in swiss it's amazing love from India
Zurich is underrated, to me at least. It’s just so lovely and peaceful, and the locals were all so kind to me.
This video isn't what I was expecting. I have a cold, I'm bored and it's 2020, so can't travel. So this afternoon I thought I would watch some videos about places I want to visit, eventually. This is literally a travel guide as in how to travel around Zurich. Very useful... for when I can actually go.
I lived in zuri for a year in 2014, i miss the city and im traveling to visit it after 5 years now! Cant wait to see it its my second favourite city after my homeland, i just love it
i was just in Zurich a week ago.. Great video you captured exactly what i felt and more
Thanks guys for another awesome guide! (the storytelling and cinematography are really top notch!! [as usual])
Thank you so much for this informative and well put together travel video on Zurich! I have two weeks to go before I fly to Zurich on my way to Zermatt.
Extremely useful and informative video that integrates beautiful filmography. I’d watch it even if I was not going to Zurich!
Thanks for a great guide. Been in Switzerland many times & still loving it. Yes I fully agreed, the airport is one of the best in the world. May be smaller but so easy to go there from town, internal airport transfers is so easy, airport has its own class.
You’re also right that it’s an expensive place but a peaceful & a beautiful one.
I'm; from today, an Attaché fan. Thanks for the amazing videos (and remember to validate your métro tickets ;)
Such a beautifully shot and edited video. Keep up the stellar work Attache.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job!
Great episode. It's off the 'someday' list and onto the 'must go' list!
Editing and cinematography 😘
The quality of your videos continuously improves. I am so impressed. Keep up the fantastic work.
heading there next week for the first time! Excellent video, thanks for the insight!
Outstanding episode Alex & Greg. Well done.
I'm visiting Zurich for the first time right now and it's a great experience so far. There's so much culture to enjoy both Swiss and foreign. If you're an American like me though just know that most hotels don't have AC which is my biggest issue. Everything is great though, and very photogenic
I just visited! Really beautiful, breathtaking views and perfect transportation
Hi bro please call me or ping me in whatsapp 7095682624 i need your help
Another great guide. Superb work guys, keep them coming.
Great travel videos man , keep it up. Love watching them.
This is so informative video, thank you, I am going to Zurich soon, this is very useful.
Great editing! Thank you for sharing all this useful info!
Absolutely the best video on Zurich I've seen. And, unlike so many others, you actually pronounce German correctly.Kudos and thanks.
After 2 weeks in holidays at the mediterranean sea I miss Zurich and prefer it with its lake to any summer holiday I have ever been to in the world. Switzerland is paradise and Zurich is Switzerland's. Everything just works.
Beautiful Country Switzerland and beautiful city Zurich ❤️🇨🇭❤️👍
Been there last summer and it was awesome...👌👌
Wish that I could visited it next time..😊
Love your show man
Amazing production and very informative
Impressed
I am glad you are back..just subscribed! keep them coming bro!
Amazing video. ..clarity and picturisation of the video feels like watching a Hollywood movie ...thank you ... may GOD bless you
It was a coincidence that I ended up in Zürich 20 years ago. It was no coincidence that I stayed. I love this City😘
500 gr Zopf costs around 6 swiss francs (I work in a bakery, so I know). For 1.50 you get a roll of bread.
The wrapper looks like Ässbar (baked goods from the day before, s u per cheap and usually still amazing)
Ich wunsche Mir wine reise Nach zurich
@@TheTrueRandomness - that would explain it.... because honestly, for 1.50 you do NOT get anything even vaguely ressembling a Zopf!
Ist doch gut
An aesthetic and informative video. Loved it!
Looks wonderful! Been to Lucerne, Interlaken, Mt Titlis and Jungfraujoch
One day we ll visit more and more places
I was just in Zurich a few days ago… left a piece of my heart there. The sights, the people, the atmosphere… can’t wait to go back.
Another terrific guide Attaché!
Great video!!
Love Zurich
Brilliant Video! Greetings from Zurich
Another fantastic video. You’re videos have just gotten better and better. I’m not going to Zurich next year but I will be in Basel.
Travel and food, ok. But why not show the beautiful historic city center, the interestingbmuseums, the stunning lake and the hills and forests surrounding the city?
Eduard van Dijk He never does with any city though
Any cool museums you can recommend? I hoped to find something related to science and technology as the ETH Zurich is so well known but so far no luck :(
Uetliberg views are great
Eduard - that's exactly what I'd hoped for. Never watched this channel before. I think I shall find myself another video that focuses more on that.
We tried to show that on our video on a cold grey day ! hahaha ruclips.net/video/Riz2Rj5AAic/видео.html
Zurich is amazing. I'm moving to Aigle, and now I'm sad I'll only get to enjoy Zurich for one day
You can travel almost to the point in Zurich. It is indeed very pleasant!
Never even thought of traveling to Zurich before this video
I could watch like 20 more of this mini documentaries of Zurich
Wow I never really thought about visiting Zurich before
Youre getting better with every video ..love your video mate ..😊
Another beautiful travel guide! I hope you guys explore Asia more. 😍
After Swiss and Zürich transport system experience, any other Country just sucks :)
Kixx Off can’t wait to experience it in September
@@zjgvergara You will Love it, believe me.
Kixx Off exactly ..
zane’s world I live in Zurich. If you have any questions I‘ll gladly try to answer them c: I hope you enjoy your visit~
Kixx Off yes, we visited other counties along with Zurich (won’t name any names here) and you’re righty Swiss transport is like the Swiss watches, precise and always on time.
I had a 6 hour layover and it was great!
This is my favorite travel channel.
I’ll definitely go to Zurich after lockdown
I just got back from Zurich. Watch your video before going. We didn’t realize that Sternin grill had an actual restaurant upstairs. I have it say it was great! Had the Sternin Brat, it was great!
@Attaché: Worth adding as a ticketing pass is the Swiss Pass. It is more Switzerland wide than simply Zurich. It's about 250 CHF for 4 days and includes every transport and museums too. The Einstein museum in Bern is included.
They accept Euros in notes and not coins. So be sure to have notes with you.
I met some dudes in the lauterbrunnen valley who were doing the Swiss Pass thing, You can turn your Zurich trip into an entire Switzerland trip with the Swiss Pass. One guy took off on his own to the Einstein Museum in Berm. But how nice are the outdoor activities in the Alps? I think this dude is all about cities... sometimes you gotta get out of the city for the real gems.
Well done for showing the Gambrinus without giving away its less-than celubrious surroundings.
Absolutely amazing content and excellent narration. Love the amount of relevant information y'all put into these videos! On a side note, I think it be interesting to see some amination when describing some of your information. That way it can stick to the viewer more easily. Like when talking about euros or swiss franc CHF
Only mention bcuz I'm lazy and didn't want to search it up and then realize I'm lazy, so I looked it up. lol. Just some food for thought. Again, great content and will be ordering your book
Awesome video Alex!
Lol he went to Ässbar that's a bakery that sells bread from yesterday. It's still good and cheap there but you won't find a Zopf for 1.5 fr in a normal bakery
The Äss-Bar sells the bakery products from the day before, for half of the price. A Roastbeef Sandwich is 4 francs for example.
Incredible video!
Fantastic video. I'd recommend Geneva as one of your next destinations. You'd love it there.
Fantastic video. Totally on the money, which is so often NOT the case with a lot of these videos...
That mustard tho! Lol. Nice work Alex
Why in the world did I not get a notification about this video. Omg thank you for doing this video
These videos keep getting better and better. More Europe! Maybe Bruges
Thanks for that great guide!!!
I’m from Bern and work & live in Zurich now. Amazing video 👏 well done!😉
Hi bro please call me or ping me in whatsapp 7095682624 i need your help
Great info here. Very useful. Been there and made a video. :)
I'm going to visit later this year 👍
thanks for uploading this
Zurich Airport is the best in Europe
Swiss trains are the best in the world. Only Japan comes close.
Taxis are horrendously expensive. I think the drop fare was 10 CHF when I was there.
I feel Japanese trains are more reliable, more modern and comfortable and nothing beats Japanese service mentality... so I'm not quite so sure about that. However, in Europe, Switzerland certainly has one of the top train networks and some of the most beautiful train lines. Taxis in Zurich are scandalous. Apparently, they are the priciest in the world. Drivers often speak insufficient German and are not very helpful, sometimes even rude. Some cars are too old and often they don't feel very clean. If you are used to the service, knowledge and comfort London cabs offer, you'll be utterly shocked by Swiss standards. It is a far better idea to call an Uber in Zurich.
Yes, my favorite city in the world. I love going here in the winter.
Grovel in summer Zürich is so much more vibrant . I cant imagine going to Zürich in Winter. ruclips.net/video/UXDiLIKz8as/видео.html
We shot our video in winter on a grey day and yet it's so vibrant and lovely. To have a rough idea ruclips.net/video/Riz2Rj5AAic/видео.html
Went to lucerne last year. When this pandemic is over I'm heading to Zurich.
Why we have subscribed to attache with a bell icon press?
Well this video says it all. Awesome.
I love switzherland, finland and my country--indonesia. For me, they are a lovely country 🤗
thanks for this!! amazing
I live near Zurich. And I kind of compare Zurich as "little New York". Some destinations busy to cozy relaxing places. Many good known economic, technical and/or health schools.
I like Zurich a lot, it's a great city.
Nice presentation! Just a sidenote: I was in the Bretagne this summer and a small beer (25cl) cost more than a pint (33cl) here in Zurich (ca. 5 swissfrancs).
Very informative video for 1st time travelers 2 zurich
I go to Zwitsa every year, so lucky my maajs sister lives there 😊
As a Manhattanite, I can confirm: Zurich (and all of Switzerland) is un-be-lie-va-bly expensive. When we realized even cheap Chinese takeout was going to be well over $30 per person, we just decided to go to the supermarkets (Coop, Denner) and cook stuff in our Airbnb. It was actually kinda fun (and way more affordable) to grocery shop in a foreign country.
Unrelated side note: Switzerland allows drinking in public, so skip the $$$$ bars, grab one of those big Feldschlösschen cans from a convenience store, and go for a stroll.
Woooow 😍 😍 amazing 😍 😍
The opening narration is amazing.
Great video. 👍
I love this channel thanks Alex.
very well done video !
I feel so appreciated
Well done Travel guide, unfortunately missing some Zurich essentials. The proximity to the Zurich lake, so in the summer it has paradise like opportunies to swim, sail or just walk at the shores. The water quality is cristal clear, so people do enjoy all sorts of leisure Outdoor Time on or close to the lake, almost up to 4 Months a year. Then you have the closeness of the Alps, to do wintersports in the areas nearby. Zurich is so ideally located, that you can always plan easy short weekends for example going to places like Ticino to visit Lugano, Ascona. Or a short Trip to Lake Como, even go shopping in Milan, Italy, all is so close by and easy to reach. Zurich is a total gem, the right balance between urban modernity, sophisticated civility and Culture on one Hand, and close by pristine, breathtaking rural landscapes, lakes and mountains on the other.
Please so a second visit in spring/ summer-you will be amazed by the Zurich living qualities!
) dude, u made me to miss for Germany. Coming to Zurich soon
Great video 🤩
Fantastic!!
