I read just for the summer in April too and I ate up the little cameos we got but the romance was just so precious!! Kinda wish we focused less on the mommy issues lmao but Abby Jimenez really does it for me EVERY TIME!!love the range of manga, I gotta get back into reading it ☺️

Abby Jimenez supremacy! ✨ And you're sooo right for that haha like at first i really enjoyed exploring how that kind of mother-daughter relationship and the accompanying mental health issues affect not just them but the people and relationships surrounding them, but then i was like get this woman OUT OF HERE i dont wanna see her anymore!! 😭😭I had a break from manga for SO long so I'm glad to be getting back into it, you can thank my library reopening for that haha!

hahah very good choice! but honestly you can read The Right Move as a standalone without reading the first one (in fact i recommend doing just that!) so don't let that scare you away from it :)))

Business Proposal is so fun! It really scratches the office romance itch!
I love the feeling of being on a roll with reading. I’m definitely guilty of neglecting other tasks when I am on one though 💀.
Going to add Five Survive to my TBR!

I know right, I love that it doesn't take itself too seriously and is just a super fun goofy office romance!
Oh definitely especially when I really get into a book or series there is NO stopping me, you would have to pry the book from my cold dead hands!! But it does feel good to not be in a reading slump!
I recommend you do! 😛 It got me itching to read mystery/thrillers more often because i love feeling like a little detective!

Uhhhhmmm did I get sent to youtube jail cus 100% I remember typing something up LMAOOOO 💀😭 (someone told me that my comment had been sent to YT jail for another video) It's my fault. I type too much 🥹 I'm too chatty. Came back to try to get the name of Blue Flag because my memory is 🥔Or like imagine if I never pressed enter and I just look like a dummy 🙃
28 books!? You had such a great month! I thought I had a pretty good month for April but you beat me in a landslide; it seems like April is most people's good month! Just something in the air, I guess 😂
JFTS; I'm on like a 28 week libby queue for it 😩 But seeing how much you enjoy it, I might pick it up the next time I'm by my bookstore. I feel like if it's your favorite, it'll be mine, and I'll end up buying it anyway for my shelf sooooo might as well buy it now so I don't have to wait for the read.
I'm getting a lot of your recommendations from you TBH, since I feel like we have similar reading taste; so I'll be adding Holly Jackson to my TBR reads. 🥰 Also will be picking up Blue Flag because love triangles that are actually love triangles... without being toxic. Insta-read for me -- me saying this even though I said I'll take a break from web comics/mangas lol.

ahahah I feel that so much i am a serial yapper so sometimes my long-winded comments have a habit of not showing up!
Very true I feel like it's either a bit of a lull in the year for people so they have time to read, or alternatively it's a stressful month in which case they turn to reading to recover/procrastinate haha (myself being the latter!). But honestly I think it's because I finally took advantage of PHYSICAL library borrows now that my renovated library reopened so it's really spurred me into reading things!
Honestly given our similar tastes I have a sneaking suspicion that you might just love it too! But genuinely I am already itching for a re-read like I already miss it somehow and I only just read it last month!
Holly Jackson is SO worth it, I heard mixed things about A Good Girl's Guide to Murder but it became one of my favourite reads of all time, so well thought out and executed especially for a YA which I find myself not reading as much of these days! and I have pretty much 4-5 starred all her books there is just something in her writing that winds its way into my brain in the best way and her characters feel real! AHAHA me immediately after saying I'll take a break from something :') But yes Blue Flag has been an absolute highlight of the year for me, think it's my favourite so far out of all the graphic novels/manga/manhwa this year, it just touched something in my heart
      🥺
