It’s incredible how your drawing looks like a photocopy, you work so hard on every tiny detail. I really enjoy watching you draw and I’m always amazed by the end product. Thanks for doing these videos
Thank you for your video, as usual, very thorough and clear in your drawing and your unhurried voice invites you to carefully observe the details. Thank you once again.
This is beautiful as I knew it would be, honestly this short clip cannot possibly give a true indication of the skill and expertise which has gone into this drawing, or the outstanding tutorials which accompany it. I honestly think you have excelled yourself in this and can only heartily recommend anyone watching this if they haven’t already done so to join our wonderful community on Patreon , everyone on there is appreciative of all that you do for us and I know that everyone thinks it’s the best decision they ever made to join you. Thankyou for always giving us such wonderful inspiring projects to do
REALLY love your videos! I watch and think to myself that "I can do that" :) It gives me the urge to want to do some seascapes and landscapes. Something I am not used to doing, but I love the outcome of your work and will strive to achieve similar results. Thanks!!
sir, after seen all your vids,i have to say this;i ll never will be able to draw like u;a sweet shorrow comes to me every time i see them, making my eyes wet,not from jealousy but from the beauty of your work.sincerely thank you and i ll keep my efforts hoping to reach 0,0001% of you..
Don't tell yourself you wont be able to draw like this, tell yourself you will be able to draw like this, and believe it, then things will start to happen for you.
I know you have an eye for detail, since you mentioned mixed media and pastel in this video... Can you put some nice tutorial using pastels or a mix with it as a medium? Oil medium or wax medium i doubt if that can create the kind of detail you like.. If yes then please share some on your channel 🙂🙏
Amazing art work! All your pencil drawings look exactly like photos. As you show it step by step, I feel like it’s not as complicated that I may be able to do it. I’m over 70 and just started drawing a few weeks ago. I would be greatly appreciated if you add which grade of pencil you use as you are drawing. Also, I wonder if you used a white pencil for the waves. If so, what brand of white pencil would you recommend?
The pencil you see in the video is not actually a white pencil it’s a eraser pencil the brand he is using in the video is I’m pretty sure a tombow easer pencil
Thanks smoothie. I'm gonna look into this brand. just tried adding fixative for my first time to a graphite piece. At least it didn't ruin it... However, i don't trust it because on the test piece i could still smudge & erase. Plus the paper has this awful gritty texture now. Does this fixative add a texture? Beautiful drawing as always, your other seascape tutorials what i used to create a backround for a realistic merman . I must have re-watched it at least 20 time. Your a wonderful teacher!
It leaves no texture, all fixatives will smudge and erase a bit if you rub them hard enough including this one, but it gives just enough protection if you keep the drawing in a sketchbook or between two sheets of paper.
@@smoothie77drawingpainting wow, I don't know how you do it. I need to draw in silence. It's a form of meditation for me. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

There's a much cheaper and better option, you could join my patreon channel for only £3.50 a month, there's over a 1000 instructional videos on there.
I’ve been following you a lot I watch all your videos I have such a hard time with water it always seems to come out flat

Century galleon would look good ??
This is excellent. I just have a question. When you are drawing, do you listen to anything or do you typically draw in silence?
I'm usually narrating for the videos when i'm drawing,

If you're a student on budget cheap hairspray works
Main ingredient to being an artist I patience because no matter how much technic you have lose interest half way though a drawing , ,painting ………..
