thank you for putting this in English. I love the Russian painters but can never understand the videos except for yours! if the whole world painted there would be less war!
This is a beautiful night ocean painting in oils. He is a very talented Russian artist. I love that he shows the transparency of the waves and has the misty background. Beautiful.
Great job of interpreting the painting as it is done! Beautiful painting and more enjoyable with the commentary. Thank you for teaming up with the artist to make this a great learning experience!
Wonderful painting skills!! It was the best sea wave lesson I've got from You tube! Thanks for sharing with online family. I would like to see more of Alexandr's work. Great job.... Jean
Thank you both for sharing this wonderful talent! Such a vibrant painting, you can almost see the wave movement. I am interested in watching more of Alexandr's paintings.
Gorgeous finished painting and a great teacher! So glad you didn't skip parts of the process like so many videos do. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Oh finally in English at least this fantastic painter has understood the importance of sharing his talent with the rest of us thank you very much indeed I will certainly follow you now
This is the best painting of waves I've seen yet. Hopefully I'll see many more. Learned so much! Thank you both for all your efforts. From Sherri in Missouri, USA
Fantastic ocean and wave tutorial. Great narration and team work. Would love more lessons with English narration. I believe Russian artists are the best in the world. It's an honour to learn from these tutorials but they are mostly in Russian but with narration in English it's fabulous. Thank you both so much.))
Yourself and igore saharov are some of the best I've had the pleasure to see. Even tho igores is in Russian I still watch his lessons. You guys really have a talent . Thank you.
I have watch many artist paint but I feel this man has more talent them most. He does a good job of teaching. I would also buy a video of his teaching.
A very informative tutorial,I like many of the style of Russian painting tutorials but the narrative is usually in Russian .This is great being in English . I am guessing that there are some early stages of the water that are left to dry ,or is it all wet on wet.? It’s skilfully painted , Thank you . This one of the best I instructions I have seen . The style of Russian painting seems to have more depth and similar to the old masters ,good stuff .
@@roryhadfield6958 Do you think he’s dipping in mineral spirits. I’m new to oil painting. I wonder if it’s wet on wet or dry and then return the following day. I just learned how to do liquid white, and used liquid white on sky , but the bottom of my sea / I left plain .I’m heading to art store, but I need guidance. NO-ONE there paints . Thanks 😊.
I remember watching this video over and over again 5 years ago when I was 15 in preparation for my art exam. This tutorial is still amazing. I can't wait to recreate this again in the future
What is he dipping his brush in . It looks like water, do u think it’s linseed oil then wiping with rag . I have a gamblin gel ,and linseed oil . I’m new to oil painting, but have lung issues,so I bought some gamsol odourless mineral spirits, but it’s expensive. I’m so curious as to what he’s dipping his brushes in . Thanks in advance. ❤️🇨🇦
@@freespiritwithnature4384 If I were to make a guess based upon the consistency, I would say it’s paint thinner such as what you mentioned, odorless mineral spirits.
Alexei, thank you for your great translation!! You really did a wonderful job! Sasha, thank you for sharing your expertise and talent with us!! Please do more videos like this one! :)
Wonderful!..this man has beautiful vision! That's why he assumes it will be so easy for others! ..it won't cause they don't..but well done guys wish you would make some more..✨
Fantastic tutorial. I love the loose painting technique and ,yet, beautiful detail. I’m impressed and have subscribed to this channel. Your translation is perfect!
Thanks very much Mr. Uzhakov. I followed along with you today and I'm very pleased with the result - no where near as lovely and realistic as yours, of course!
wow this is the best demonstration I've seen on youtube. Sasha is an amazingly talented artist, a natural , and you are a great commentator for his masterpiece . I really enjoyed the tutorial. Spasibo bolshoy. 💜
Unbelievable talent. I am struck with the presentation, and, have watched it so many times i see it in my sleep. As yet I haven't attempted anything, but, managed to gather up lots of tubes with the ambition simmering. I will not do them justice, but,I would love to try.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏one of the best so far. Love the way you call it Firozeh. That is how we pronounced it. I learn everything from you tube I hope you will continue to teach more . You are one the best thank you for being here.
I'm in Canada. You guys made a great video. I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. The color you are referring to at the end is turquoise (pronounced turk-wise). It is the name of a rare gem that has been prized for thousands of years for its unigue hue. Thanks so much for your fabulous video!
I’m in Canada as well. I pronounce turquoise,Turk, koi ,z. I wonder, how if he used liquid white underneath,or just plain canvas. I have done my upper sky and used liquid white . However I’m only using artist loft canvas, I found his technique so different,he wipes a lot of paint off on linen cloth ,then I’m assuming he throws it away afterwards. Do you think he’s using (terpenoids no smell) , it liquid,or linseed oil? I have to get it right with my canvas bought at Michaels. I’m new to oils but as soon as I found oil paint ,I heard they invented a acrylic paint than looks like oil and can be washed. My problem is lungs , I don’t want the fumes . I used Gamblin Oil medium in the box the GEL and it’ worked wonderful. No smell. It is expensive at Michaels. Approximately 28.99 a box . It goes fast . Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Another comment says the blue isn’t turquoise it’s cobalt teal. I haven’t heard of this one. I wonder if he puts the medium in the paint every time he mixes new colours . Does he have to continue while it’s wet ,or can he continue the next day . ? Thanks 😊.❤️🇨🇦

AWESOME! The translator was also amazed at Alex's talent. Please, if you could; put the names of the paints in English. I look forward to seeing more from you! You are very talented painter! THANK YOU!
Amazing and such a wonderful mood, thank you for translating! And as with many people who speak English as a second or even their 12th language, you speak it very well, better than most who speak it as their native, and usually their only language:) I noticed someone mentioned "turquoise" pronunciation, but the end rhymes with "boys" or "toys", not with "eyes" or "wise", for anyone else who comes along later....thanks again for a great lesson! So ethereal...
you are really good...I will follow you from now one...I seen you are showing how to use brushes during painting...some artist don't do that...some people don't know but I know there is a way to use brushes which is the outcome of that oil paintings so good and almost like Ivan Aivazovskies Paintings were...

I love the fact he uses his fingers!!!! When I paint I soooooo want to do that! It feels so good and it helps soften the edges.

Awesome! The last part, when you add all those details... you are so extraordinary!
inspiring. As an acrylic painter though I cannot use quite the same techniques as the drying time is so much faster.
